He checked with the head chef 3 different times about different entrees, so I could have the best experience. We are from out of town and will definitely be back due to the great service provided. “I love this place. I love how close it is to my house, especially ;). They've completely transformed this business district space into something incredible. The drinks are pricy but worth it. Truly crafted cocktails. Don't come here if you are looking for a beer. Service has always been attentive. Maybe a little slower to wait for your beverage but I think that is because they really take time to craft the perfect cocktail. Worth thr wait IMO. I highly suggest The Walken Pig and the Milk Tyson!“

“I stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Ramp Valet service was greatly appreciated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was awesome, the house old fashioned was perfect, the house burger and fries excellent.
The waitress told me it was happy hour so the already reasonable prices were even less.
As I was leaving a band was setting up.
If I lived a little closer this place would be a regular spot for me.“

“Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

“We had a dinner party for 33 people in this wonderful place on Saturday night celebrating the marriage of my son and his new bride. The manager Stephanie was so wonderful to work with knowing we would be taking up almost half the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.“

“Outstanding dining experience. Haven't been here for a while but my daughter in law just got her PhD and this is where she wanted to go and celebrate. And wow did we celebrate. They ordered the short ribs which were delicious and very tender. We gir the drunken noodles (which are the best drunken noodles i ever tasted) and the tom yum Ramen. The Ramen broth was heavenly although I couldn't finish the broth. The shrimp and scallops in the Ramen were perfectly cooked. The Ramen noodles had just the right texture and soaked up that heavenly broth. The spice level was just right and got stronger throughout the meal. White Negroni was very good. The Hungarian sauv blanc wine was meh as all good Hungarian wines should be“

Although the restaurant has been around for several years, it’s now under new ownership as of mid-January by the Luna family, and the difference was immediately clear. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care and passion. This wasn’t rushed or generic Mexican food; you could truly taste the quality and pride in every bite. “I've been to this location four times, the food has been great everytime, my favorite is the deviled egg open face sandwich and banana bread latte. Even the busier times I've visited the service has been good and attentive. Couple things to note, seating near the door can be pretty uncomfortable especially on a cold day and there is an hour limit per table, which is not based on when your order is taken or receiving your order but from when you arrive at your table, even if they're busy and orders are taken well after you've been seated. Two minutes after collecting payment we were informed of this rule, although the host wasn't rude when sharing this it felt a little less than appreciative of our business, not sure I'll return because of this.“

“I flew in all the way from Detroit to Minneapolis Minnesota to visit my all time favorite restaurant. It was a dream come true that it reopened. I have been looking for the ChiChis fix for over 20 years. It was well with the trip and well worth the wait. The chimichanga ( with the Diablo sauce) was exactly how I remembered it. I got the chicken one day, and the beef the next day. A+. The chicken tortilla soup was superb! The original chips and salsa, margarita and fried ice cream was the topping on the cake. Exactly, how I remembered it. Both so good. My daughter got the cheese and the chicken enchiladas and elotes (corn) and she was highly impressed! I got everything with extra Diablo sauce because I had been missing that key ingredient to Chimichangas. The ChiChi’s Diablo sauce. My trip was made extra worth it when the founder of ChiChis son, and current owner, Michael, I believe, came to the table to thanked me for coming from so far away to enjoy ChiChi’s and asked how was everything. I told him first I wanted to Thank him, for bringing our childhoods and favorite restaurant back, and that everything was excellent!!! I was 100% satisfied. No complaints at all. He gave me the history of the ChiChis name!! Very nice guy!!! - He did say that corn 🌽 cake was probably coming back. I am back in Detroit and attempting to plan my next trip. I am having ChiChis withdrawals once again, just like it was 2004. I hope they come back to Michigan soon. Do yourself a favor! Visit ChiChis. You won’t be disappointed. Great food. Great service.
