“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

FRESH cut veggies, HUGE portions white meat chicken, super tasty, clean, friendly can't say enough! the SZECHUAN chicken is to die for ! fried rice yummo ! it's worth the travel from downtown. tried many others... nothing beats bills pricing and quality. good work guys ! so glad your always going to be here !!!“

“All you can eat hot pot and sushi for only $30 at dinner is a pretty great deal.

Hot pot bases were good, especially the spicy one. Selection of items to cook was not bad. Seafood looked pretty fresh and scallops were good. The beef was okay, but the meat wasn’t the freshest for some options but not to the point of smelling or anything.

Good noodle and veggie items. Only complaint was wish there was better dessert options as there were just grapes and watermelons.

The sushi was very good. We were very surprised that all you can eat sushi was included and will order more next time.

“The food was ordered through DoorDash but came piping hot and was wrapped nicely. I loved the vegetable lomein, the fried rice was delicious as well, along with the wontons (and I did order two pork egg rolls on the side not pictured.) I loved all of it! My husband and I can’t seem to find similar food close to our China Restaurant in Roseville but this is much closer to home and tasted similar in my opinion. YUM. Get it. I’ll def order again! I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food but this was so close to what I’m used to ordering for years and years!! I’d order everything listed again. Check them out.“

“Edit: They renovated, and I love the new, bigger interior! I tried banh canh cua (crab udon) and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but maybe because they reopened recently. Will come back to try other dishes.

Tiny restaurant with authentic vibe. I tried the bun bo hue, and it was not bad but I’ve had better in the city. I would go here for a quick fix to my vietnamese food cravings because of the location convenience.“

“I live in Wisconsin, but I'm from Minnesota originally. This place is the hidden gem. Literally the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The chicken is high quality. And the Fried Rice is to die for. I'm telling you 10 out of 10.“

“The take out food was all delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. We ordered the orange chicken based on comments it was “a favorite,” and we definitely agree. Great egg and vegetable rolls (crisp and very flavorful). The vegetable fried rice was really great with big chunks of vegetables. Just wonderfully fresh tasting, piping hot at pick up, and lovely owners. It deserves its high rating.
Note: for the $20-30 price range per person, we ordered generously and had 2 to 3 meals from our order. Remember to grab condiments (soy, duck sauce) at the counter. I don’t think they were automatically added to the bag.“

“For the one in Plymouth Minnesota, FINALLY some sweet tea. If you live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, you know, findind a place that sells sweet tea is hard. As if there was a sugar shortage in the area. Anyway!
The service was great. They do have regular unsweetened tea here, but when i told them what i was looking for, they pointed out their signature SWEET tea. Foood & all is Food & will be going back.“

“I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

Been enjoying the General’s Chix and Wonton soup from Fresh Wok since 1997.
We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.
Will continue to enjoy when coming to the cities.

“It's the hood spot, LOL. Nahhh. This is my spot shrimp Egg Foo Young. The best so far in Uptown. Management has to remember everyone can't cook it, though. It takes a delicate hand to keep it fluffy. BTW the Ribs are ghetto fabulous. Don't be fooled by glass window.“

“The peanut chicken is the star of the show. The skin is crispy and sugary, the sauce is great. I wouldn't recommend the spare ribs, but everything else I've gotten from here is pretty good. Most of the time, the sauce spills out of the containers and into the bag. But that peanut chicken is worth it. I get it delivered through Door Dash so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere.“

I really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken.
The customer service could use a little work. I was ignored when I asked for a working pen multiple times to sign my receipt. The lady just kept on doing other things and made me wait another 5 minutes.“

“This is the first time my wife and I have visited Saigon Uptown, and we were extremely impressed. They have amazing food that is served and prepared by wonderfully friendly people. “Was craving some good chow Mein and gave this little place a try. It’s incredible! The chow mein was fresh and delicious, the beef fried rice had large pieces of tender beef and was cooked to perfection. Egg rolls were crisp and flavorful. Very friendly service and wonderful food! “A gem in the skyway! It's American Chinese food done very well for a reasonable price. I like that most of the dishes include stir-fried veggies mixed in, and they are big cuts of fresh vegetables and retain some crispness. No slimy frozen veg! The stir-fried vegetables are my favorite, and includes tofu. They load you up with nice big portions, too. And the egg rolls are the best in the skyway!“

“Top notch food here, it's almost a crime to add anything else into the broth of their pho. This place is a gem for sure, it's one of my favorites.. the cream cheese wontons are some of the best around town. The lighting is soft, it's usually occupied but when it's not it's definitely a vibe and the staff here is extremely hospitable and kind.
