“Omg this place is the the absolute best and my family and I will be getting all of our cakes here. Coborns in Saint Cloud flaked on us so my husband found this place on Tuesday August 29th at 3pm. They had our cake ready at 12:30 on August 30th. Such an affordable price we are recommending everyone. Thank you guys so much for my babies first birthday cake. (My toddler messed up the cake a little but we transported all the way to Wisconsin dells and it held up wonderfully)“

But if you like fancy weird cookies they change their cookies all the time now that's kind of cool and for a gift people do appreciate getting them. But for a cookie you'll have to take out a mortgage I think a box of cookies is probably like 30 bucks or something like that I only got one cookie and it was like $4 or something. But like I said for a gift for your employees, for a friend, someone that's sick, it is a really nice gift to give and to receive. So I recommend it for this purpose not because you're craving a cookie cuz that'll be an expensive crave.

Parking: It's a little strip mall with like four other shops You park right out front and just walk right in.“

“Came upon this charming little bakery after walking around Lake Bde Maka Ska during a recent visit to Minneapolis and so glad we did.

We almost missed it, as it's in a nondescript office building and from the outside looks like a dentist's office. But once you step inside, it's warm and charming and full of friendly people and excellent baked goods.

I'm a particular fan of Kouign-amann, and wherever I find it, I have to try it. Black Walnut's is lovely - flaky and sweet and buttery without being greasy. They have a classic and a Raspberry Passion Fruit which is definitely worth the extra calories. I also had a Croque Monsieur, so I can say their bread is also lovely. The coffee and service were both good and the pastry case left us wishing we'd be in Minneapolis longer. Looking forward to trying the excellent looking Pan de Suisse next time.“

“The food is almost always great. Every once in a while, you get a subpar dish or item, but it's very rare. Their fries are freakin awesome, just the right amount of salt and pepper seasoning. They have one of the top three pancakes out there... you don't even need syrup or butter they're so good.

“The best cookie shop in all of downtown. They are always so flipping soft and sweet (well the ones i choose are) and it's really hard to have just one. My favorites are the chocolate chip and the double chocolate sea salt. Delicious. And they are a staple of downtown, I remember coming here in the late 90s when I was still in high school, they know what they're doing.

Parking: Plenty of parking, but its all paid. Its cheaper if you can find street parking.“

“I want to thank the staff at this Perkins for their efficient waiters and supporting members. I called two weeks prior to set up an area for 20 people. My husband had passed and we were having a family breakfast before everyone left to return to their homes. They kindly had it set up when we got there. The waiter, Joel, did an amazing job of taking care of us. With the help of two other waiters we were well taken care of by them. They served the kids first, which all the parents appreciated very much. I told Joel I wanted the check. He then helped me navigate through the card machine. He asked me what this celebration was for, Birthday, anniversary? I told him no, it was for a Celebration of my husband life. Said he was sorry for my loss and gave me a hug.
