“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.“

“Their subs are what I've been missing here as a Chicago transplant. LOVE the Lake Street Italian and Vegetable Sandwiches exactly as they are made. The Italian sub dressing is sooooo delicious. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Only criticism would be next time I think I will have them deliver because it is kind of a pain to park over there, and they weren't the friendliest when I placed my order over the phone and picked up. I have read that's typical though for this place. I don't care what their attitude is- I love the food enough that I will be back.“

“I came in 22 July, just minutes before they closed. The staff made me two BEAUTIFUL salads, and made it clear I could have it my way. I asked for a few extra vegetables and they just threw them on, no questions asked. Even the gentleman moping the floor gave me a big welcome as I entered the store. All smiles with this crew, and it was clear I was gonna be happy whatever it took. GREAT service, outstanding attitude, very good food, 5/5 stars in my book! “First time here. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly and you could tell he knew the menu well. The two gentlemen who made our food were friendly. When you're in a smaller restaurant, I don't really want to hear the employees conversations - this wasn't an issue, everyone was respectful! The GF roll was great, the white bread roll was amazing, even the kids grilled cheese was tasty. Both my kiddos said the pickle was the cherry on top! A great first experience, thank you!“

I always ask for the slicer to be wiped down before making my sandwich and they never have made me feel as though I’m inconveniencing them, as other places have. “Always love Quiznos and it's sad to know they're having problems and closing stores. Do wish they'd bring back their lemonade and have more beverages in general (get the Coke FreeStyle machine, for example). Also, the app doesn't allow users to add more sauces to the sandwiches. I got the Chicken Carbonara, but wanted 2x the sauce. No way to do it in app.“

“After working downtown over a year, I am getting sick of the chain sandwich shops. Simple sandwich is just that, simple and very delicious. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. On top of great food, extremely friendly staff and a clean dining room, they have amazing prices. If you can get a full “combo meal” under $13 downtown in 2023, that deserves 5 stars. Can wait to try a salad or breakfast! This will be a weekly lunch spot for me…they should institute a punch card! ?“

“I was reminded of this today, so I wanted to note that maybe 6-12 months ago, I ordered delivery from this location via a secondary delivery service and the driver brought completely the wrong order. I called the location to see if they could correct the issue with the driver and the manager - who had actually already realized the issue - told me to keep the food that had been accidentally delivered and then drove me my remade order herself. Way above and beyond the call of duty and great service!“

“Very nice clean location. Friendly staff. Food was great. Tried their Wreck salad on the underground menu available only through the app and it was great. It was also gluten free so I could share it with my wife and it was plenty for the two of us. Location is a bit hidden back in just west of Vicksburg Ln. Parking can get tight around lunch. For overflow use the Lowes parking lot.“

“the italian sandwich i ordered was good. i had specified no pickle but got one. i also ordered a cup of loaded potato soup and paid extra for onions i didnt get. which turned out to be okay because it was the worst soup i can remember tasting. thin, watery, rubbery bacon-like things, mushy potatoes with tough skins still attached and the flavor cannot be described. it went directly in the trash. giving the place a good score because the sandwich was just fine. just stay away from whatever it is that they call potato soup. i had delivery so i wasn't in the store and cant speak to the service or atmosphere. its probably fine.“

“The Subway restaurant at 66th and Penn is the perfect place for a quick stop. The staff there is friendly and helpful, making delicious, healthy sandwiches. Adding spinach was a great choice, adding more nutrients than iceberg lettuce. I particularly enjoyed the tuna on wheat with spinach, shredded cheddar jack, and black olives.“

I am from WAY out of town and couldn't find the pharmacy in U of M maze, despite having a gps & address. The crew went above and beyond to get me in the right direction. This location have fresh bread and all there food here is fresh and clean I never experience moldy food or expired food. “This place has really good barbacoa tacos! They have a nice savory, beefy flavor without being overly saucy or greasy.The tacos here are a great size — rather large compared to most street tacos I've had, and filled with the right amount of meat for the perfect bite.“
