“Wonderful spot close to Mississippi Market in St. Paul. There is a beautiful small park (when weather permits) to sit outside. The building itself is old and very Swedish even though the history of Swede Hollow is long-past, lots of "hygge" inside (yes I know it's Danish but they did own the country, kinda). A few tables downstairs, one cozy one on the mezzanine, 6-7 upstairs and a neat "conference room" with a very comfy cozy reading armchair. Coffee really good (Americano, Cubano), great selection, had a studenty-feel, but we are close to MSU. The food looked very good. One of my new favourite "Third Places"“

“The Saint Paul location of Nothing Bundt Cakes is the BEST IN THE STATE!!! The Events and Wedding Manager, Barb, is a literal angel! She is so kind and accommodating, and went the extra mile with Wendy (the owner, another angel!) and other staff members to pack our bundtinis into 160 2-cupcake boxes so we could distribute them as “his and her favorite flavor” favors on the way out at the end of the night. The Nothing Bundt Cakes staff took such care to ensure that the bundtinis were placed properly and did not get smushed in transit and worked with our Day of Coordinator directly to pick them up the day of our wedding. The “his and her” bundtini boxes were a huge hit with our guests!“

“I’m a food court foodie, and this is a 5 star review, minus the bones in my goat masala - good portion, reasonably priced (even got a Wednesday discount), with a smiling, friendly owner.
The goat masala is delicious with yellow rice, salad and rightly spiced. If you stay at the Double Tree Hilton, you can use the skyway access, get off level 2 to get to the Town Square food court in like 50 foot steps. Lots of seating to eat or chat. This restaurant is closed Fridays.
Interestingly, both Indian/Mediterranean food are available including gyro bowls and baklava or samosas and biriyani.“

“No disrespect to the old establishment, but the new ownership hit it out of the park. The chicken shawerma is bangin. Good portions, good price. Not a fan of ordering on a tablet, and I’d recommend a menu on the wall for easier reading but I’ve already eaten here multiple times. Check it out!“

“Super cozy restaurant with great food, excellent service, and wonderful community events. I went to have some coffee and work for a while. I ended up staying and having dinner and enjoying an open mic night. The food was delicious and I got an amazing cardamom lingonberry pastry to go. I also got the hot apple cider and that alone was worth the visit. A special shout out to the staff who were incredibly friendly and patient as I figured out the menu and what I wanted to order.“

“I've going to J&J's for a very long time, always friendly staff and always amazing food.

I moved 6 years ago a bit far from j&j's, so i have been getting wings and fish elsewhere, but it's never as good as J&J , for other wings places , I order 6 or 10 wings and I only get 6 half wings.

2 of my favorite things about J&J is when you order their 6 wings with fries for under $12, you get 6 whole wings , it's like getting 12 wings at the half wing places, better deal with J&Js

You get what you pay for at J&Js , plus it's always fresh and tasty.

I don't usually recommend places, but I would DEFINDEFINITELY recommend everyone go at least try J J's once , i bet you'll be back for more.“

“There is a shelf near the ordering counter that I’m guessing was built for online order pick ups. People tend to take bags that aren’t there’s so it makes sense this store has stopped using it, but it would be extremely helpful to put up a sign above the shelf that says you need to check in at the counter for pick up orders. I’ve never been to this store so I didn’t know I had to, I waited an extremely long time waiting for my order to be placed on the shelf before I overheard someone else walk right up and get their order right away.“

When I have time, i find a table on the back side of the bar. its a quiet space away from the busyness. Engaging conversation with David the manager. He has a positive intentional outlook.“
