“Strangely enough, I think this might be one of the best restaurants in the cities. They have this beet app that combines these flavors that are out of this world… and I’m not a huge beet guy. Seriously, my wife and I went home and have tried to replicate it after eating there. There’s also a chip app that’s unreal. Last, the burger is just delightful. Haven’t had a burger that good in a long, long time. The cocktails go down easy. I could keep going, but you get the point. Go here!“
“We eat a lot of South Asian food, and Spice & Tonic has some of the best we’ve had in the Twin Cities area! The tandoori chicken was delicious and exceptionally moist, while the chicken curry was flavorful. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Inside, the decor was lovely and the staff friendly and fast. We highly recommend it!“
“I can't say enough about how amazing Francis is! Outstanding food and drinks! They have the BEST Spicy Margarita that I have EVER had! Their drink menu has so many cool and unique cocktails that are different from any I have had before. Then there is the food...I literally think about the Chicken Sandwich daily. My daughter went 3 times the first week they were open, and continues to go weekly! There isn't an item in the menu that I've tried that is anything less than AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone tries it! You definitely do NOT need to be a vegan to love this food. Trust me, TRY IT! You'll love it and will ABSOLUTELY be back for more!Vegetarian options: The entire menu, including drinks, is vegan. No meat or dairy products, so perfectly suitable for vegetarians!“
“Crasqui might be our new fsvorite restaurant!! The menu is so beautifully crafted around memories, I can tell the dishes were thought out with a lot of love. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were balanced so well. It is priced fairly for the quality. The service was AMAZING and our server Luis made us feel like family. This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary and the staff made it feel very much like a special occasion. My partner has celiac (gluten allergy) and the staff was knowledgeable and they even had a separate frier. Overall, 10/10 experience.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available, staff is knowledgeableParking: Plenty of free parking“
“Andrew is what makes the Lexington the ultimate special occasion experience! From his recommendations, to perfect cocktails, to exceptional service, he is why we keep coming back. He makes everyone feel special and valued and and he’s always spot on with his food and drink advice. The BEST!“
“I can't believe Ive lived a few doors down from this gem and never tried their food until tonight! It was absolutely outstanding! We ordered southwest burgers and they were so juicy and obviously made fresh to order. We will be going back to try more things! Highly recommend!“
“From the moment I reserved for a large group (8) here we were taken care of! 10/10 customer service from booking to finishing our meal. Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. The violet drink was pretty good but others at the table didn't think their drinks were strong/tasted like straight up juice.Vibe was great!“
“My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.“
“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.“
“The best borscht ive ever had. (and only but that doesn't matter.) i literally couldnt sleep last night because i was craving it so bad. so don't go, unless you want to be craving it for the rest of your life. Dumplings were very good as well! The guy walking around playing accordian added to the vibe too“
“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“
“The best Ethiopian food and service I've had so far in the Twin Cities and I've been here almost ten years. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Very flavorful vegetarian optionsParking: It's a big parking lot in the backKid-friendliness: Family friendly“
“I love the ambiance at this place. It's great for both date nights and/or group fine dining experience. My favorite is their Salsa sampler/flight. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side but I'd say it's pretty worth it. Great service too.“
“Very nice environment. Cool people. Excellent food. Experienced bar tenders. I highly recommend grabbing a friend for a nice experience. If you like playing cribbage don't forget to ask for the board and deck of cards. And come back here and share your experience!!“
“Terrific find in St Paul in the Art Deco St Paul Air Terminal Holman's Table. Lot's of photos of early aviation, a private plane landed and taxi'd up for a lunch meeting. Meals were excellent, the room is a delight over looking Holman Field.“
“This was my first visit there but not my last!! I found the check in process very professional. The staff very friendly and attentive to the needs of the dogs. The bar and cafe offer delicious food and drinks.I was extremely pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dog-friendliness: The staff is right there if there's any potty issues or rough play!!!!!Picnic area: The outdoor area is awesome. Can't wait to return and have the fire pit burning!!!!!!!“
“I've been to Malcolm Yards a few times and always have been pleased with my food. There is plenty of parking that is free and paid street parking. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating. Inside there are several food vendors to choose from and you can order from multiple. This time I got the chipotle sweet potato and roasted nabo sueco tacos from Martes. They were between $5-6 each, so not bad of a price. These tacos were so delicious, I didn't want them to end! I was so glad I went and tried these, but you can't go wrong with the other vendors either. The empanadas at Del Sur are amazing! Overall very cool spot to hang out, but can get expensive quickly if you don't pay attention.“
“I was planning a bachelor party and looked up top rated gentleman’s clubs in downtown Minneapolis. Ricks was the first club to pop up, so we made a reservation and decided to try it out. WOW!!!The service was top notch. The girls were on a different level.I felt like a VIP from start to finish.Truly an unreal experience and I will be back but this time without all the boys ?. What an awesome experience!“
“We went for dinner with friends and loved the view, atmosphere, and had great service. The drinks for most of us were also excellent. However we all felt that the food and presentation was a three star. So take that into account if you are reading this.I know they are going for the diner/dinette vibe but the shrimp cakes in a cardboard box isn't ideal. The French fries also were good but look like something you would get next door at CHS Field.I had the duck pasta with ricotta cheese and it was a major letdown for me. I should have ordered the burrito. However the menu isn't that large so your options are limited. The pork belly was tasty but had way too much spicy sauce all over it.Will I go back? Honestly it is unlikely. I hope they can improve the food and expand the menu because the location is beautiful and historic. And our server was prompt and took great care of us.“
“Awesome place! Cool, upscale vibes yet we still felt comfortable in jeans and casual clothes. The menu had a nice variety of items - our server recommended a few things that we enjoyed (except one).My daughter and I shared the prosciutto and burrata pizza - sooooo delicious! It was a little heavy on the arugula for our taste, but once we removed some of that it was a delicious pie! My daughter said it may have been one of her favorites ever! We also shared a Caesar salad - standard. My husband really enjoyed the skillet lasagna, but the portion was actually on the small side. Our only slight disappointment was the Philly sandwich. The menu didn’t have a description, so her only ask was no onions. When it arrived it was like loose meat with a bland orange cheese on top, in a standard hoagie roll. Not a ton of flavor. She had the garlic mashed as a side and it also left her feeling meh - not a ton of flavor and the texture almost felt like instant potatoes? Weird. Our server was really great and fun,We would definitely return if we’re in the area again - maybe to try a few other pizzas!“
“Consistently a very popular restaurant in North Loop, allow extra time to find a table without online reservations. The food does not disappoint, lots of Italian favorites to choose from. We enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan & Chicken Caesar Salad, the wood grilled oysters also seemed to be a fan favorite.“
“The blues music dive bar of Minneapolis! Good bar food, great service, friendly patrons. Have had some pretty grumpy bartenders in the past (YEARS ago) but no bad experience now. The renovations are great - feels more open and brighter inside.I'm a huge fan of bar "pork tenderloin" sandwiches and couldn't resist ordering one during my last visit. It was really just a deep fried pork chop on a bun. Very delicious but not an actual pork tenderloin.Note: it is very loud when the band plays, do not go for a date night and expect to carry a conversation.NA option: Heineken 0.0“
“best place in the twin cities. I remember when there was only beer and wine behind the bar and they sold single cigarettes. Dinner was a baguette and a roasted bulb of garlic and a bottle of wine. theater in the back with story tellers and fringe artists that kept this transplanted nyer here in the twin cities for 30 years.“
“The ambiance is warm and welcoming. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They can describe drinks and make suggestions based on your preferences. There is variety in their food and drink menus. Delicious appetizers and pizzas. Girlfriends went to celebrate one of our birthdays- the server came with a round of mini cocktails for us to toast the birthday girl. Fun night, will be back.“
“You walk in into a small yet inviting waiting area with a small bar. If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.“
“I recently hosted a fundraiser in the new private party room and it was a huge success! The staff is so professional and helpful. They went out of their way to be accommodating to us. I’d highly recommend them to anyone planning a party or an event.“
“Great place, good food, weird vibe! The waitress or cook was off. We ordered an appetizer. Our friends ordered a different appetizer after us. Their appetizer arrived. We asked about ours. She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. That was not available when we were there either.“
“This was our first time in here. We wanted to visit be/4 they close it down (closing this summer) and boy are we glad we did. The walleye and fries basket (all 5 of us ordered) was off the chain!!! Tasty and filing we couldn't eat all of it. Only missing a side of coleslaw. The wait staff from kitchen, the waitress everybody was so nice and accommodating. I think it cost $17-20.Will be back b4 closing, loved it!!“
“My wife and I came in on Monday before a show at the Fillmore. We had happy hour drinks and appetizers, along with entrees and dessert. Everything was wonderful. Hannah was great and if I remember correctly, Christian was the bartender. He made us very well balanced cocktails for 3 hours. My last drink was the chili rum punch. I pulled Hannah aside to get the ratios for the cocktail it was that good. I was taken back when she said it wasn't as popular as some of the other cocktails. That's a perfect patio cocktail and one that I'll try to recreate with my staff for this spring/summer. The only thing I will reccomend or suggest and it's maybe just a preference. For the crab cake appetizer, instead of placing the crab cake on top of the jalapeno tartar sauce,(which was delicious). Think about placing the sauce on the side and not underneath. It just seemed like there was way more tartar than needed. But like I previously stated, could just be my preference.“
“The place doesn't look much from the front, but the atmosphere is actually quite nice once you walk down the hallway (passing the glass wall behind the bar) and into the main restaurant. On warmer days, the patio looks like it would be an excellent place to hang out. The main part of their menu looked like a build-it-yourself type of thing. Pick tacos, burrito, quesadilla, etc. Then you can pick your protein, style, and sauce. I ended up choosing a Burrito Bowl with Carnitas Street Style. The food tasted great. It was obviously made with fresh ingredients. I was surprised later when I looked at the menu again and saw that it cost me an extra dollar to get the Burrito Bowl, thus saving them the tortilla. I wish the waiter would have mentioned the up charge, although I probably would have gotten the bowl anyway. As I do at most Mexican restaurants -- well, all restaurants -- I got an unsweetened iced tea. Much to my surprise, they charge for tea by the glass. No refills. Again, mentioning this when ordering would have been helpful. Personally, I have trouble paying $4 for iced tea in my at Starbucks... but at least I get free refills. Here, the glasses were much smaller, and again, no refills. At least the tea here tasted good. They checked me out tableside using ApplePay, which was nice. I didn't get an itemized bill. And I'm not quite sure if they tacked on a gratuity or not. Unlike normal, they didn't turn the POS terminal around and ask me to enter a tip amount. Bottom line... not sure if I will go back or not. The food was good. So was the atmosphere. The food was reasonably priced. What may keep me away is that each tiny glass of ice tea (tiny, by my standards) is $4.“
“@mpm_midwest Thank you you for taking such great care of the Tito's event. Our teams were on site representing Tito's throughout the experiential evening and we can't wait to come back. Your staff and team at Can Can Wonderland were nothing but accommodating. Happy holidays to all of you. Sincerely, Midwest Promotional Models Inc.“
“I eat here a lot, and I love the food, prices, and service. I have an account, so I often get free food using the loyalty points. They have great vegan options as well.Vegetarian options: Falafel or quinoa can be substituted for any of the meals. They also have vegan options.“
“A beautiful venue with unique drinks, but our experience was exceptional thanks to our server Hailey J. She was so professional, recommended drinks specific to our likes, and took the time to get to know us. We will definitely be back because of this!“
“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“
“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra. The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“
“The food was quite good. My only negative is the noise level. I went on a Saturday night, around 6pm, and my table of 4 had to basically yell at each other to be heard. I would certainly have enjoyed it more if I were there when the bar was slower. Overall, it was a good experience. We didn't have to wait for a table and service was super quick.Parking: It definitely depends on when you go, but parking is a hot commodity and there isn't much to be had. The restaurant has two lots available with a handful of spots. We ended up parking a couple of blocks away in the residential area and walking.“
“Whiskey was fantastic, and I didn't think it was overpriced, as many have claimed. It's the same at any other whiskey or scotch bar, and Gori even allows you to do half pours, which is very nice. Aside from straight whiskey, the Old Fashion was one of the best I've had, very unique and balanced. They do add an extra 20% charge, but they didn't even give us the option of tipping, so that's your tip. Environment is very small but wonderful. I would live there if I were rich.“
“This restaurant is great. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful with our questions. The atmosphere is great! They have 3 levels in their restaurant including a speakeasy style atmosphere in the basement. The food was delicious, bringing french inspired options to the area in a fresh way.“
“Great place that's kid friendly and has 2 patios (front and back) that are both dog friendly. Good food, top notch service, great cocktails. The chicken and wild rice pot pie was a novel, yet obvious take on an old favorite. Of course those flavors go together. Can't believe it's not more common, but that's what's great about this place, they take familiar dishes and class them up. Really loved their cocktail options too. Will have to go back and try more because I was between a couple options. The blackberry sour was refreshing and had a hint of sweet to balance the tartness. Service was top notch, probably the best you'll get anywhere. Will definitely be back.Parking: There's a large parking lot that wraps around the restaurant. The back patio is in the parking lot. There's also street parking all around the lot, so if you can't find a spot in the lot, there are other options.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot more options for kids than on a standard kids menu and they had whole milk for littles. Their highchairs are better than most too with all the straps, etc. They give you crayons and the kids menu can be drawn on. Servers were good about putting food and drinks out of reach of babies and warning you about hot things. If you're looking for a family friendly meal out, this place has you covered.“
“Volstead's is a fun place with great drinks, great music, and delicious food. However, the entree portions are very small for the price. The market fish entree for $22 included maybe 4oz of fish and maybe a quarter cup of rice pilaf. The cornbread for $14 was about 7 inches in diameter. The server was slow to refill waters and run food. Go for drinks and the music, but eat dinner first.“
“Stopped here for some lunch after work and loved it instantly. The food was delicious ? Location so cute. Customer Service and our waitress was awesome. She mentioned all the summer activities and I even got to hold and snuggle their baby goat Daisy. I fell so in love with her. She was the sweetest. Beautiful little view. We'll definitely be back ? Thanks to Kari for her friendly and positive attitude. She was really good to us.“
“Up-Down Minneapolis is the perfect spot for a trip down memory lane! Play classic arcade games, sip on craft beers, and chow down on pizza by the slice. They've even got skee-ball to complete the experience. It can get loud and crowded, especially on weekends, but that's all part of the fun! Overall, Up-Down is perfect for anyone looking for a fun and nostalgic night out!“
“Jimmy's is the epitome of a neighborhood bar. Food is available, but it's certainly a drinking establishment. Bartenders who know their stuff and talk to both regulars and newbies on their downtime. Order their famous cocktail: the Bullfrog!“
“We ate on the 2nd floor balcony tonight and everything was absolutely amazing! We were greeted the second we walked thru the doors, given advice on the best pace to sit, and our server, Thomas, was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We ordered the wagyu steak and butternut risotto with blue crab cakes and Caesar salad to start. The food was perfect! The service was incredible, at the atmosphere was homey and romantic at the same time. 10/10 will recommend and we will be back!!“
“The Dubliner Pub's live Irish music (they sing more than just Irish, but Irish is my fave) and grab-someone-and-twirl-them dancing is top notch, so make sure you check this place out when they host live music, which is often thankfully. Nice side room with arcade style games and a pool table. We really love coming here; The atmosphere is great, even the old creaky wood floors!“
“This is a neighborhood staple that I’ve been enjoying ever since I moved here. Great food with a changing specials menu and affordable drinks! Plus tons of history. The bartender Connie is the best and knows everyone by name. Even the bus boy (Andy?) is always keeping the space clean and inviting. It’s a must in the Old Town area!“
“AMAZING! My boyfriend & I had brunch here & were shocked to realize that this place had been just down the street for months & we had no idea, which is nuts because the food was AWESOME. Great atmosphere with cool artwork. Super delicious. I had the Ethiopian sampler & my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito. Both were outstanding. The drip coffee was great too! This is a great addition to the Seward neighborhood & I hope more people check this place out, because this restaurants needs to stay put!!!“
“A couple of friends and I enjoyed a few drinks last Friday. The bartenders, Joe and Charlie, were more than accommodating and made all of us newcomers feel very welcome. Although it’s cash only, the prices are very fair and we look forward to going back. Thank you!“
“First trip to Little Canada's Porterhouse, and I can say it was perfect. The drinks on point, the appetizers prefect, and the main course of steaks and king crab legs was also perfect. Dessert was also delicious and a great way to cap off a fantastic meal. We've long eaten at the Lakeville location, ( which is close to our house) which has always been excellent, best place in Lakeville to eat, and it's not surprising, but this location held the same exact standards of excellence.Out with a good friend tonight so we skipped pictures.“
“Upscale environment on the main level of new apartment buildings. Parking is inside or behind the apartments, with the center rows reserved for Oliver's. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came out quick. I didn't love the seasoning sprinkled on top but otherwise thought the pizza was good. Depending on your seats, you can watch your pizza being cooked. Service was great. Prices are in line with the atmosphere.“
