“2nd Time at Clay Oven. The food is great. Very tasty and large portions. Excellent value for the money. The reason I gave it a 3-star rating is because they have a fly problem. Looks like they are drain flies, but there were at least five of them flying around our food the whole time. One landed in my wife's wine, which was replaced. Quite annoying as it is in the middle of January in Minnesota. Last thing you should need to worry about is flies. A health issue in their kitchen? Questionable if we'll be back, which is unfortunate, because the food and service is great!“

“Well seasoned chicken and fish. The desserts are nice but I think most of them are cakes that they bought from Costco or Sam's wholesale. A lot of them are either too sweet or very bland. The food is very good though. The drinks are very pricey.“

“10–20 May 8, 2025 me and my family enjoyed a dinner here for my brothers 43 Birthday. Our experience was very good, food was top notch, service was great, and location was nice with lots of parking close by. This restaurant was also very respectful to our group as we has a severe dog with and the restaurant staff were very welcoming... However a naboring older couple dint approve of the dog but only gave us the stink eye the hour we were there. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!“

“Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

“A bit tricky to find if you don’t know the area well, so just be aware:) It is a hidden gem 💎! We’ve never had to wait long to be seated. the staff is always quick, attentive, and friendly! Everyone in my party loved the meal they ordered. The lunch menu has a lot of great choices!Their chips and salsa is awesome. Drinks are always full! my brother and his wife love the tres leche cake 🍰 , so we ordered 2 pieces between 4 of us, and it was finished:) The decor is my favorite of all! the paintings on the tables and chairs are so beautiful and colorful! The other location in bloomington had the same beautiful decor until they closed. If you want good american mexican, El Loro is a great choice! They have a really lovely bar area as well! 🥰😍“
