“Last night we hosted my friend’s 70th BD party at the ‘Old’ Place Massa’s in Bridgeton with 12 of his family and best childhood friends. It was SO special as they all grew up near and had great memories here. Well, it was the most delightful evening ever! Mike (manager), MaryAnn (I hope I have the right name) and ALL the wait staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful … we felt like they became family too! AND THE FOOD! Never disappoints! We all ordered a variety but my pizza rocked. The drinks and appetizers didn’t disappoint-LOVE the spinach dip. Someone got their steak specialty dish and we all were jealous… it melted in your mouth. From beginning to end, it was the perfect night! And the staff and food made it GREAT! Thank you all so much!!“

“Played a lot of oldies music, reminded me of my grandmother. The entree and the main meal were definitely good, though I felt the salad was lacking. Then again, I'm used to salads that don't just use 90% iceburg lettuce that has pretty much zero nutritional value. I use a spring variety mix with spinach, so a lot more fiber, and darker leafings. No real issues other than the salad, really.“

“Paul Manno’s is the one thing I miss more than the Cardinals baseball games since retiring in 2004. I took my brother there a few years before that, and he said it was the best Italian he had anywhere in the country, and he traveled a lot. I always recommended Paul’s whenever new people came in our flower shop, and EVERYONE agreed with my brother and me. I hounded Gourmet Magazine until they reviewed them. Good enough for MNF Aikman, Buck & Collingsworth! My number one choice in the country.“

“I was recently in the Clayton, MO area for a work trip and decided to try this place out for lunch with a colleague since it was walking distance from my company’s corporate office… I was definitely not disappointed. The food was excellent!

The two very good things that this place gets it right with their calzones are that their crusts are just perfect (not to thick, not thin, not too bread like) and just has the right amount of cheese. A lot of places tend to over do it with the amount of cheese they stick in the calzone to the point that all you really taste is just the cheese and no longer the crust or the other fillings.

The entire staff was friendly and the service was quick. They also have a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The place was also very clean which is always a very big plus. They also had a good selection of salads which I will definitely try when I’m back in the area.“

The flavor was definitely derived from the seafood and shellfish, the pasta was perfect and the seafood itself was perfect which means not over cooked. But it’s Dominic’s! Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

“We recently dined at Charlie Gitto's and overall had a very good experience, though with a few noticeable shortcomings. Food: The meal started strong. The bread was fresh and the toasted ravioli were some of the best I have had anywhere, crispy, flavorful, and memorable. We shared a lobster bisque, which tasted rich but only included two small pieces of lobster. At fourteen dollars for a bowl, I expected more substance. For entrées, I had the Cajun Pasta Special. While tasty, it leaned more toward a spicy Alfredo than anything distinctly Cajun and felt one note after a few bites. Ess ordered the seafood pasta, which delivered good flavor and variety, though the portioning was uneven. She received only one shrimp, two mussels, and two clams, with most of the dish filled out by small scallops and langostino pieces. The mocktail Ess ordered was excellent, but my Lemoncello Spritzer arrived at room temperature, which required me to add ice from my water glass. For dessert, my tiramisu (ordered to go) remains untested, but Ess was disappointed by the sponge ricotta cake. It was not dry, but it also was not particularly flavorful. Service: The highlight of the evening was unquestionably our server. She was attentive, courteous, and proactive, anticipating our needs, checking in without hovering, and even packing us up with salt, pepper, forks, and extras for our leftovers. Truly outstanding service that made us feel well cared for. Ambience: The restaurant has a polished feel with white tablecloths and candlelit tables, creating a nice atmosphere. That said, the lack of dress code enforcement undermined the setting. We dressed for the occasion, yet were seated next to guests in gym shorts and t shirts, which felt out of step with the tone the restaurant seems to aim for. Value: Our bill came to one hundred fifty seven dollars before tip for two people. That price would have been completely justified with fuller seafood portions, more consistency in drinks and dessert“

“I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“
