I will say if you come during a rush hour, you’re most likely going to be added to the waitlist and if I’m correct you usually have to put yourself on the waitlist once you arrive since they don’t really do call-ins. “This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

Decided to order pretty late but lady on the phone was very nice. Arrived to pick up the food and let me tell you it is HOT 🔥 inside. I give Soo much credit to anyone working there. She asked me if I had a pick up and thanked me for my patience. All in all very nice employees!

Shrimp fried rice was absolutely delicious
Very tender shrimp and good flavor to the rice. Also I miss having bean sprouts in my fried rice
Orange chicken and Mongolian beef was delicious. Chicken was crispy and the beef was tender and flavorful.
Crab Rangoon were some of the best

“I was visiting from out of town this past weekend and my boyfriend bought me a St Paul omg it was so freaking good. I will be back. Wish I could have some shipped to me.“

“I tried this place a few times and the last time it was sooo delicious! The lady at the front had a rude and passive attitude. I let her know when I ordered I wanted sweet and sour sauce with the order. I had 3 egg rolls, a lunch plate, & a box of rice. When I picked up the order and reminded her I want sweet & sour she put it in the bag, staples it & handed it to me. I open the bag & it’s 2 packets of sauce in there. She put maybe 20 soy sauce, plenty cayenne pepper and only 2 sweet & sour. I said to her that wasn’t enough for what I ordered and she counts out 2 more and gives it to me. I again, tell her that isn’t enough for us and now I want to know how much it cost to get more because that was stingy of her. I would’ve paid for the sauce to begin with if I knew she was petty. $1 for 15 sauces is nothing. Why waste additional sauces I didn’t ask for and be skimpy with what I insisted I want? I’d be back because the food is good. Energy like that isn’t what people want before they feed themselves.“

“This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“

“This is a cool experience if you never had hotpot before. You pick the base broth (you can pick 2), and order ingredients you like and pretty much cook your own food on the table. Everything is cooked in hot broth, so definitely super healthy. Lots of veggie selections, meat, seafood and starch. It is in the heart of the loop and very lively area all the time. There is a big free public parking lot in the back of the main area but you pretty much need to walk to where you want to be.“

“This place caught me by surprise. I usually go to other Chinese restaurants in the St. Louis area, but this place was nearby when I was with my daughter, and we were both hungry. We gave it a try, and it definitely didn't disappoint either of us.

Ordering food was a bit challenging because a lot of people were in line talking to each other while I was ordering. The wood flooring and high ceiling make the place echo, but no biggie.

The wait time for our order was probably the longest I've ever experienced at a Chinese restaurant. However, I understood that many orders were called in before we ordered at the window. I think the lady taking the orders was overwhelmed with that many orders coming in close to closing time.

I told my daughter this food better be good for that wait, and let me tell you, the first thing I ate was the crab rangoon; it was one of the best I've ever had, with a strong crab flavor. The rangoon was stuffed with the perfect amount of crabmeat and cream cheese filling. The second thing I ate while driving my daughter to St. Louis University was the shrimp St Paul; the St Paul was probably one of the best I ever had, just a little heavy with the salt or msg, but all in all I loved it. I nearly crashed the car three times while driving my daughter back to her dorm. Lol, the last thing I could eat and finish was the shrimp fried rice. If I'd known it was going to be that good with the gravy on the side, I would have gotten the whole order instead of the half order; my daughter ate the plain lo mein, and she is definitely a fan. She doesn't eat seafood, but she wanted to try the crab rangoon because it smelled really good to her. I think she loves crab Rangoon now. Lol.

I will come back to this restaurant to make sure it wasn't a fluke, because I think I may have to put this spot in my top three.

“First time having this food and it was phenomenal.Everythingwas on point. I had the fried chicken wings great flavor, crabragoon was just the way i like it, and a half order of ham fried rice was cooked to perfection and the color on it was beautiful. I had never seen any rice like. It doesn’t need any soy sauce. Everything was perfect the way it was and was piping hot just the way i like it. I pray that this place is consistent in their preparations, food quality, and attention to detail. I live in Illinois and this is well worth the drive. If i had pictures I would post them but I ate my food too fast.

Let me paint you a picture: You drive up, it looks rundown, and you just know this is going to be the best Chinese food of your life. The crab rangoon is some of the best I've ever had. The wontons are fresh, never too chewy, and the cream cheese has a hint of sweetness, but it much more savory than a lot of places. The crab rangoon is really good. The fried rice isn't anything to brag about in my opinion though it's not bad by any means. It's a mix between the cities dark fried rice and the county's typical light colored rice. I'd probably opt for steamed white rice next time. My only complaint is that there was a man sitting inside asking everyone for money. He wasn't rude by any means but it made me uncomfortable. With all that said, I'd still go back because the food was really good overall.“
