The broccolini (and the vinaigrette!) is a must-have, as well as their various breads and the prosciutto. Everyone's meal was a favorite, and the Rosa y rosie drink was divine. Everyone was very kind brought us drinks and boxes, even though we were right next to the fountain soda machine and could’ve got them ourselves. “My husband and I love this place. We visit at least once every time we are in St. Louis to visit family. Every person in our family has a favorite menu item. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and they are always great with our family’s various dietary needs. My dad and his best friend love everything in the Salsicca sandwich section. Their vegetarian sandwiches and salads are great. My husband enjoys their deli meats. My mom love the Italian beef sandwiches. My sister adores the mayo-free Italian Tuna sandwich. This is a perfect place for a casual lunch with the family in between activities.“

My order was a roast beef sami with AU JUS... with out the AU JUS the sandwich is dry and not very desirable. It was delivered by door dash and the AU JUS was forgotten. I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! You guys are better than this and I would expect for you to make right on a mess up that YOU made. I think it will be a while before I order with my colleagues from Gioias. “I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“

“Had their pizza for the first time, and it was worth the hype. The Chicken Delight pizza is so good! It is probably my favorite thin crust pizza I’ve had. I also loved the wing sauce! “Finally tried the famous Gioia's Deli last week and was not disappointed! Got my husband the Italian beef and I tried the salami and Italian beef and added ham. Added giardiniera, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, mayo and this was a top tier combo. Add some rap snacks and a couple chocolate chip cookies (don't sleep on these- they are huge and the perfect combination of soft and crispy) and we had an amazing lunch! We will be back!“

This small family owned restaurant is a hidden gem. The cook came out and talked to us several times, even talking with the kiddos. My son was sad when he found out they were out of the cheesecake ravioli's (they come 3 to an order). But we tried the the chocolate ones and they were fantastic. As we were walking out to our car, the cook came out with the last ravioli cheesecake drizzled with caramel!! My son was over the moon and enjoyed every bite! Thank you for going above and beyond!!
