“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.“

We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. “We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

Then a month ago I went on a random weekday for happy hour specials and the mini nachos option and a marg redeemed this place. It was exactly what I wanted.“

“my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. “Was so happy we stopped in this time cause we couldn't get in 2020. Service top in class and Jordan was amazing behind the bar. We decided to do the trick tower seafood tower and well worth the money despite other reviews on it. Never thought I would go the the mans and order seafood but it was like we were on the coast. “This place has a lot of different restaurants to choose from. There are a few points. You wanna know walking into this building, though.

First, the amount of people in here is heavy, so if crowds aren’t your thing come out at off time not a major breakfast lunch or dinner time.

Choose your food wisely. There’s a new place in there that makes the best biscuits in the world called “flour.” it’s probably the best biscuit sandwich that you’ll ever eat in your life, but be prepared to wait 40 minutes to get it.

I highly recommend the sushi and there’s a fried chicken sandwich place in there that doesn’t mean fried chicken sandwich.

Choose your time wisely, but be sure and stop by here for a great meal.“

“I am new to Asheville and brought my mom, two aunts and cousin to visit. We chose to eat here on a whim. It was a busy Saturday with a long wait and several things happening in the area. My aunt us genuinely severely allergic to gluten. The options for her weren't super extensive, but they offer a gluten free bun and several other options. Our server seemed new and I noticed had been double sat. She was awesome, despite both. We had lots of questions and she didn't know all the answers but she had a great attitude and was accommodating. The manager came to help her out since it was so busy. My aunt had mentioned she was allergic to gluten, chose a gluten free salad, and just asked our server to make note not to add croutons. The Manger came over and assured us he was clearing a space in rhe back to prepare her food so it would be fully uncontaminated. We didn't ask for this, but he was proactive about it. One salad came with rhe wrong protein, no biggie, we said we'd keep it. He offered to have a side of salmon made or the entire salad replaced despite us assuring him it was OK. he then comped the entire salad, not just the protein we missed. We were running out of time on our parking meter so we canceled some drinks we had ordered earlier. The bartender has already made them and the manager not only brought them to us anyway but then comped them from our bill. Literally couldn't have asked for a better experience or nicer staff.“

“I want to give a huge shout out to our server Alex H! Not only was the food and service excellent, but Alex went above and beyond when my sister had a fainting spell in the restaurant. “So I’ve been avoiding this place thinking it was a chain , after many disappointing meals at Gypsy queen(used to love them they went down hill, and holy moly what a dirty kitchen) I decided to try Mr. Kabab, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. This is the best middle eastern food in town hands down… I wish he would change the storefront to better represent his quality of food. !!! Also the kitchen was very clean , which is a must for me .“

“Every time we’re in town this is our go to spot. Shredded selections and Brisket yum! Meats r In some sort of marinated vinegar process, don’t even use added sauces it’s perfect alone! Favorite spot to sit at is the bar area where Ian provides wonderful service! The mustard based potato salad side and hush puppies a great addition.
