“After driving past Mexican Rock several times, I decided to stop in and try the food for the first time. I was dinning alone, was quickly seated, and chips and salsa were delivered right away. they were very good. I had extremely high hopes. I watch a large group being seated at a table across from me, a man and his son, and then an older couple . The large group had their drink order taken, then the man and son and a server bypassed me once again to get the couples drink order before turning to notice me 20 minutes after being seated, still no one had taken my drink or food order. The restaurant was no where near full. I asked to pay for my chips and salsa to which he replied "it's free" i proceeded to lay whatever cash i had in my pocket ($6or$7) on the table and left. maybe had i not been alone, service would have been better? I understand larger groups tend to leave larger tips, but I tip very well if my service is good and still tip if it isn't. maybe I will give it another chance in a few months I dont know. But for today's experience, I would not waste my time again”
