“So my experience tonight was the picture of customer service excellence.Let me preface this with the fact that I, alongside two random passerbys, was the ahole customer that walks in 10 minutes before close.I entered behind the two passerbys and watch the conversing employees end their talk and get into work mode. Their promptness was wasted, though, as the two ghouls that shambled off the street ahead of me acted as though they were going to wait until closing time to order. If this bothered the cold stone employees, I could not tell. As a matter of fact, I felt that I was more visibly bothered by the duo's languor than either of the three associates. Two of the associates set to task indefinitely once the gents could figure out their order, all the while the third associate cleaned until it was my turn to order. She was a pleasure to work with; it was service with... well, the sound of a smile, as they still have to wear masks on the job.Nevertheless, they wished us all a good night and I regret not asking for their names so I could commend them all individually here.I have only had positive experiences here recently and I believe this spot will be hard pressed to replace these three when they're gone.“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.
Some outdoor seating.
I have had their smoothies and one of their lattes, Rocky Mountain latte. I asked for less sweet and it was still too sweet to finish.“

“Nice old gritty yogurt shop, a Chapel Hill staple. Yogurt/cones are great. The sloping, hand rail-less, sharp-edged brick steps are a death trap, no idea how this passes any city standards. But the yogurt is good and you get to watch people trip on the steps as they try to get in and out.“

“We love this place! Come here every time we pick up or bring back our NCSSM student. Today, she graduated and we made sure to visit one more time before we head home to NE NC for the summer (don’t worry, we’ll be back - go Tar Heels)!!! Look what the sweet owners did for her?! Thank you ❤️“

“I have not had a snow cone in years so Pelicans surprised me! My memory of them were semi-dense small ice chunks, syrups with the artificial aftertaste, and either pure syrup or pure ice at the bottom. Pelicans was none of that! The ice was really surprisingly fluffy and they have tons of great flavor options. I ordered tigers blood (mostly coconutty) and mango and it was perfect for summer.“

“Great tasting BoBoa drinks, rolled ice cream, tayaki. Everything house made fresh upon order.
Friendly staff and family business. The coffee ice cream is freshly pulled espresso shot mixed with cream. And the drinks you can replace cow milk with oat milk too.
We haven’t tried the soft serve but I’m sure they are good too. Many flavors to choose from.“

“Have driven by so many times and finally experienced the outdoor dining last night on a beautiful evening. The food was delicious (even thought they had run out of the rice and beans we were excited to try - just a great reason to go back!) Loved the drinks we tried, and we even splurged with some ice cream at the end. Service was fast and friendly. Now we just wish we had gone sooner!!“

“After managing various locations in different states, I’m really a critic when I come to a store. I can’t help it, I’m always seeing if things are how they should be. They had it going on during a busy Sunday in the holiday season. The counters were clean, the tubs were scraped, they were offering samples and the ice cream was tempered just right. Def a vast improvement from this location years prior. Proud of the streets of southpoint.“

“The fool was great.I tried to get her from my armor but we didn't have no money. So I would like to do it in.It's like a little bit less money because sometimes I don't got enough money but you know I always wasn't hard because these is just that the money “

“Calming atmosphere and classy interior. Service was excellent. Shared two pizzas between three people, which made for a perfectly light dinner. I tasted the Funghi Panna and the Bufala. Both had very thin bases, which I prefer, and intricately baked crusts. I enjoyed the freshness of ingredients, and even spotted a couple garlic cloves on the Funghi Panna. The Bufala was classically flavorful and tasty, but next time I’ll reach for something special.“
“This ice cream is very good! Affordable and delicious! It’s a perfect place to run out for an ice cream in your PJs or sweats since they have a drive thru! We usually sit in the parking lot and enjoy the ice cream and watch traffic on Guess Rd…“

“We walked in to Ben & Jerry’s UNC with 14 worn out volleyball players and 3 tired coaches. John and Haddie (I hope I got the names right!) showed no fear and gave us the much-needed scoops with smiles! Thanks for reviving our troops with sweet treats and sweet greetings! #gcavolleyball #uncchapelhillvolleyballcamp“
