My partner ordered a slab of ribs and more than half of the ribs was fatty. Also, a physical fight between two women and a man occurred by the front door. If we were still standing, waiting to be seated, we would be in the middle of the fight. Not the restaurant's fault, but ruined our dining experience.”

I wanted somewhere I would feel comfortable lounging ( comfortable chairs and various rooms/spaces, warm, good zibe) and working. I was not looking for a sleek sterile coffeehouse. I loved it that people can draw or write on the walls and that even though this was done with sharpies, I didn't see any evidence of ill will or critiquing if others. I was offered a sharpie myself not long after I arrived. what a great place! I'll be back whenever I pass through Charlotte. did I mention that the pistachio baklava latte was delicious? real pistachios! just right sweetness.”

“We have visited this location multiple times for brunches, social gatherings, and dinners. Every time has been a wonderful experience. My daughter chose L&P for her bday dinner with all of our family and everyone loved it. Some item s were a little heavy on the salt, and the kale salad was too heavy with the citrus dressing (seemed it wasn't blended?), but overall the meal was delicious from apps to entree to dessert ( chocolate cake- yum!). Our waitress was engaged, friendly, and attentive to our every need- before we even had to ask. We will continue to patronize L&P!”

We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. “We had an awesome experience at Chex Grill & Wings after visiting Beat The Bomb for my daughter’s birthday celebration! I had a group of five 10-year-olds (plus a few others), and the staff was incredibly patient as the kids figured out what they wanted to order. They even let us sample the chicken wings before choosing—huge win! The wings were delicious—especially the Strawberry Hot flavor, which is now officially my favorite! While we were enjoying our food, a man came in and sat down nearby—we thought he was just another customer, but it turns out he was the owner! He was so kind and invited my daughter (the birthday girl) and her friend to take on the 60-second wing challenge for a chance to win $50. My daughter won, and when the owner asked if she wanted to give her $50 to her friend, she said yes—and then he surprised her by giving her $100! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and brought her a slice of cake. 🥹❤️ The avocado side salad was also super fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Highly recommend—this place made our celebration so special!”

Our server Staton was exceptional — completely familiar with the menu and specials, as well as the wine list. Never intrusive, he provided personalized service at every turn. I loved the Waygu filet, which was perfectly cooked as requested. Started with a cup of lobster bisque, lots of lobster meat, a bit thicker than I might've liked, but I still ate every bite. We all shared the potatoes au gratin, mushrooms and creamed spinach. Other guests had the porterhouse (recently returned to the menu), and the filet. The Bearnaise sauce accompanying the filet was excellent. All in all, a really nice night out at Capital Grille!”

“A night to remember at The McNinch House 🌹✨ Growing up, my Dad wasn’t just an industrial engineer—he was a hobby chef with serious skills. He spent his childhood in restaurants, and at home, he brought that magic to our table. I didn’t grow up eating “normal kid food,” and to this day, he’s the best cook I know. My love for food? 100% from him. The McNinch House has been on my list for over a decade—and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Executive Chef Eric O’Connor, who joined just a year ago, blew us away. We had the 4-course tasting menu (I truly don’t know how people survive the 5-course!), and every dish was a standout: *Corn & Clam Chowder – the cream is everything *Bone Marrow – best I’ve ever had *Lamb Lollipops (my husbands) – best I’ve ever had; perfectly cooked *Pork Wellington (my husbands) – the basil took it over the top *Snapper Succotash – the bacon made it *Crème Brûlée – perfectly done From the surprise oyster starter (cool presentation served in a shell over ice) to the palate-cleansing sorbet between courses, every detail was thoughtful and special. Chef Eric personally served our entrée—how cool is that? The service was impeccable, with a main server and 2-3 others helping throughout. At the end, they even handed me a freshly picked rose from their garden. 💐 We dined in a historic 1800s home filled with charm, and afterward strolled through the garden—flowers everywhere, twinkle lights, fountains, and the Charlotte skyline in view. I had to ask for the chef’s autograph and a photo—he’s just that good. We told him he deserves a star, and he smiled and said, “We’re on the list.” So now I’m shouting from the rooftops: let’s help make that Michelin star happen! He absolutely deserves it. Thank you, Chef Eric and the entire McNinch House team, for one of the most enchanting, romantic, and memorable meals I’ve ever had in Charlotte. The whole evening—2.5 hours of pure joy—was not just dinner, it was an experience. ❤️”

“So refreshing to have something like Rada in Charlotte. My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here! I felt like I was in SF or DC. Every dish we said “wow, this is so unique… these flavors…” etc etc. Each dish was carefully prepared and thought through. We did 2 small plates, 2 mediums, and a large, and it was plentyyy of food. The tri-tip… no words! The ravioli with fresh tomatoes… divine.

Eclectic environment, yet cozy and welcoming. We loved that every runner was different, it felt like we met the entire restaurant in just an hour and a half.

“The bar is a nice spot, it host NFL nights. I am a big Lions fan, and the Detroit take - over is real. The drinks are decent priced. The only complaint is they need more bartenders. I always have a good time. Food trucks show up during the game nights as well. I'm not sure if they are there normally.”

“American Airlines did not get my luggage on a transfer flight to CLT Airport, so I had to hang around the baggage claim to wait for my bags. To my my surprise and pleasure, I found a restaraunt in the unsecured area of the airport, which was nice so I didn't have to go through security again to get something to eat. I ordered the Barrel House BBQ Chicken Flatbread. This pizza was very large. Interestingly, it had corn on the pizza, which I've never had before, but it really worked. Overall, the pizza was surprisingly good given it was ordered at an airport restaurant. The female working the restaurant was kind and friendly. Overall, I did not expect much from this restaurant but was very pleasantly surprised with the food.”
