“My family went there and they really enjoyed it. There was something for people of all ages. The place is very wheelchair accessible. My only complaint is that I wish they had more for individuals who are low vision or blind. My husband didn't get much out of the experience. I would suggest having replicas of the fish. This way blind and low vision persons could hold the replicas to get a sense of what's in the fish tanks.“
“Even during their busiest and most chaotic moments, when the place is packed, and everything seems hectic, they never fail to remain incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite the rush, they consistently go out of their way to make sure you feel valued and cared for as a customer. It's truly impressive how they manage to maintain such a positive attitude, even when things are overwhelming. Their kindness and professionalism shine through no matter how busy they are, making each experience pleasant and memorable. You can always count on them to greet you with a smile, no matter the circumstances.“
“Fast, friendly, accurate service. Good food and clean resturant.
Parking: Plenty of off street parking in their lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and other kid appropriate options.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways, Hcap restrooms, and tables.“
“Ask for napkins (or check your bag) before leaving the drive thru!
Stopped by on a road trip. We ordered a hot fudge sundae, a Shamrock Oreo McFlurry, and a large fry.
Pros:
*Drive thru service was fast.
*Hot fudge on sundae was a generous serving & there was some left even at the bottom ⅓ of the ice cream
*French fries were super hot, fresh, crispy; you could tell they'd just come out of the fryer
Cons:
*McFlurry was not completely blended & there were puddles of heavier green around the edges
*Not a single napkin in the bag with the fries even though we'd ordered stuff that was sticky and greasy (I'm used to having to ask if I need *extra* napkins, but I've never had to ask for the first one so didn't ask at the window. Discovered the lack of napkins five miles down the road 👎🏻)
*Fries tasted good at first when they were super hot, but as they cooled down they didn't so much--like the temperature disguised the fact that the taste was off? Idk exactly, it's not that they were BAD bad but McD's are not my favorite fries
Overall decent experience, not something that stands out as stellar but not awful either.“
“It's good to have this McDonald's in the Bryan Center. It's a good source of late-night study food, with solid hours and a very convenient location. Staff can be a little slow sometimes, but they generally get orders right and it's a positive experience overall.“
“Everything was pretty good I don't really have many bad things to say about this place, but I will say that they are pretty stingy with the sauce, plus they get a little confused a lot, I asked for it one way and they low-key messed up my burger its not too bad but it wasn't the way I wanted it I had the $5 meal deal“
“Of course this location is always busy in the mornings. The drive-thru is usually where people choose to order their food, so I went inside. I ordered my food at the kiosk so no one would have to stop and come over to get my order, but I still had to pay. Ms. Karena, is an employee there, not only did she come over to help me but she also recognized that by changing my order I could save some money, a $1.50 at that, heck yes! Then on the way to my entire frappe in the car seat without complaining or asking questions she made me a new one on the spot so that I could be on my way to drop my kids off at school. She really is a team player and star at the Guess road location. Thanks again miss Karena!!!“
“The reviews as of late must have been due to bad experiences on certain shifts/times. The last (4) times I've been to this location, it's all been drive-thru. And it was around 3 to 5 pm. (1) of those times I had to wait a little longer. I assume because the order in front of me was for a van full of people, or a large order. Otherwise, my dog has enjoyed his weekly nugget treat. I've gotten everything precisely how I asked for it. My drinks have been good. And twice the person giving me my order acknowledged my dog!! I tend to order with my dog and hang out in the parking lot and watch our favorite shows. This place does good.“
“Yes I picked up food in the Drive-Thru a large tea milkshake strawberry two fish sandwiches the sandwiches were hot very good the milkshake was excellent that day set the two ladies won the cashier and one handing out food give them Kudos on their professionalism, the personality was great very respectful full smiles what's I like that's one of the reasons I keep going back“
“This McDonald's is a lot better than it used to be. Clean restaurant and the service was quick. Friendly employees ?
Parking: When I went to this McDonald's it had plenty of parking with multiple ways of entering and exiting.“
“Sausage burrito - immaculate
Bacon egg and cheese bagel - divine
Crispy golden hash brown - simply to die for
The methhead wearing a Dora the explorer dress demanding his (yes his) food be free cause he doesn’t own a car and can’t use the drive thru - not so great“
“This location is often short staffed, so there tends to be a long wait. I'm usually tired from the gym when I come so I don't really mind waiting awhile in the drive thru. I think that there may be some dissonance between the managers and rest of the staff. Despite that, the guy at the window Demetrius has made my day both times that I saw him here. I think with a little improvement, this could be one of the better Durham locations. I can tell it's a struggle for the team some days, and that's not great to see. But the team's kindness usually makes up for the wait. Keep moving forward yall ✌️“
“Five star because ONLY WANT YOUR READ THIS:
McDisaster: A Tale of Missing Nuggets and Broken Dreams
You know, I thought I was just ordering dinner, but what I really got was a front-row seat to the theater of fast-food failure.
The so-called "Meal"? Oh, it was anything but. No fries, no nuggets, no sauces—just a sad little box of regret. It was less of a meal and more of a scavenger hunt where the prize was nothing.
And the McFlurry? Let’s just say it was more McPuddle. It melted faster than my faith in humanity, which is impressive considering how quickly McDonald's ice cream machines usually break in the first place.
But the real kicker? The sheer confidence with which this incomplete mess was handed over, as if I wouldn’t notice half my food was missing. I’ve seen more effort put into an “I’m sorry” text from a flaky friend.
McDonald's, I don’t expect fine dining, but I do expect the food I paid for. If you need help remembering that fries go with the meal, maybe hire a food coach or a motivational speaker—someone, anyone—to inspire basic competence.
To FUTURE CUSTOMERS: Check your bags. Check them like you're defusing a bomb, because chances are, something’s missing.“
