“Ate there on my birthday. May 22. Food was great. I had the sheepshead and my husband had the oysters. Chloe, our waitress was wonderful. She treated us to a bowl of the famous chowder and chocolate cake. We loved it so much until we stopped on the way to the ferry and bought some frozen. Everything we ate was perfect..“

“We came to Breakwater Restaurant with a group of 13 people (including 5 kids) on our family holiday, and it was truly one of the highlights for us. We were sat at a table outside overlooking the sound within a few minutes of arriving. The views were spectacular all throughout the night, but peaked during sunset. Our server, Madison, was attentive, prompt and incredibly friendly. She handled our large and rowdy group like a champ. All of our food and drinks were fresh and tasted great. The live music was fantastic as well. I believe we will talk about this dinner for years to come, and we would return anytime we are in the area. Thanks again!“

“I've come to the Outer Banks for years and heard of Pops. By the outside it doesn't seem like much, but my wife and I went in and WOW. My first opinion was dead wrong. Wait staff were friendly. It was packed but the food came out quickly. I went with the fried shrimp dinner and I left a full, happy man. One last detail...holy cow that cocktail sauce was spot on! You can tell it's home made. Good stuff here!“
