“My wife and I love The Fourk. We visit Hickory often. I'm originally from NY, on our first visit our Waiter was Dave. Great guy and awesome conversations. We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. I'll try something else next time.“

“I have been coming here for years especially on Thursdays and Fridays!! I will just say I have never had a bad experience while eating here!! The food is good but wanted to brag a little on the waitress Lindsay that seems to always be there when I eat. She is always busy either serving tables or answering that phone but always checks on everyone!!! Is always super nice when she is able to have a 2 min conversation. When she isn’t there I seem to have issues with getting drinks or my order is wrong but that won’t deter me from coming back!!“

“Everyone is always so kind here! Drinks are also delicious . I wanted to give a personal shoutout to Ariana. I was behind a car in drive thru who was being SO rude to her. Complaints on complaints. I was watching and listening to it all happen for at least 5 mins. RUDE lady!!

“Food was good. Little greasy as expected. Only real complaint is how they do things for the drive thru. No one else at screens or window when we ordered/paid, but that’s because they put a sticker on your mirror and you have pull up past the window to park and wait on them to bring it out. Once you pay, there’s 3 lanes. 2 outer lanes to park and wait and a middle for leaving. We sat there for almost 30 mins waiting on 2 plain burger combos. Some people that were there before us, were still there after we left. They come out wandering around confused as they are trying to match the order to the number on your rear view mirror. It was an odd experience and not one I plan to repeat anytime soon. Really shouldn’t take that long for fast food.“

Today, I found one: this Granny’s Country Kitchen in Claremont, NC
The ambiance was casual, family oriented, and food was very yummy, service by a young, pretty and efficient Cami, the reasonable prices made an amazing lunch!
I told my husband that I wished this restaurant was in our neighborhood.
Highly recommend to those who travel to this part, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner, besides a great meal, we support the local as well.“

“Been dying to try this place out for at least a year and finally got the chance! Celebrated a friends bday here. We ordered 2 apps (spinach & artichoke dip / brisket nachos) both were delicious and portions were large! One of us got fish & chips and the rest of us each got a different burger. Everyone enjoyed their food! My burger was the one with blue cheese and it was so so good. I subbed my fries for the parm fries and they didn’t disappoint! I’ve told everyone I’ve come in contact with since to try out 13twenty, and will be back this weekend for my mom’s bday dinner!“

“Ordered the 6oz filet with fries and chicken wings.
There is no picture of the wings. They were so good they dissappear before I could get a picture.
My son took me out for lunch to celebrate his Black Belt ceremony.
My steak tasted really good, and had it been cooked to order, it would have been awesome.
My regret is not sending it back because I ordered medium rare, and I get medium well, and that disappointed me.
I wonder if someone received my steak or did the chef just overcook it.“

“I am so happy that my indecisive self decided to give this place a try. I have not been impressed with most of the establishments in the area. My wife and I usually travel to Asheville for good food. On a Sunday there weren’t a lot of options. We decided to give backstreets a try. It’s been years since I ate here and didn’t remember. She got Cajun chicken pasta and I got possibly the best Rueben I’ve had in years. I’d say the pasta is better than Cheesecake Factory. The only negative thing was the judgy couple sitting beside us. However, they cannot control who comes through their doors. The service was excellent and I’m so happy I found a place I am happy with locally.“

Everything was good my only complaint was the grill could have been cleaned a lot better for the amount of people and orders the were receiving (It was just us there at the time). The bacon was covered in the black grill cabon gunky stuff.“

“Absolutely loved this place. From out of town for a work trip and wanted a place to grab a brew with a calm environment. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Drank the Hat Trick Lager and the Nova Hazy IPA and loved both of them. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!“
