“My wife and I love The Fourk. We visit Hickory often. I'm originally from NY, on our first visit our Waiter was Dave. Great guy and awesome conversations. We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. I'll try something else next time.“

“I have been coming here for years especially on Thursdays and Fridays!! I will just say I have never had a bad experience while eating here!! The food is good but wanted to brag a little on the waitress Lindsay that seems to always be there when I eat. She is always busy either serving tables or answering that phone but always checks on everyone!!! Is always super nice when she is able to have a 2 min conversation. When she isn’t there I seem to have issues with getting drinks or my order is wrong but that won’t deter me from coming back!!“

The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. No one else at screens or window when we ordered/paid, but that’s because they put a sticker on your mirror and you have pull up past the window to park and wait on them to bring it out. Once you pay, there’s 3 lanes. 2 outer lanes to park and wait and a middle for leaving. We sat there for almost 30 mins waiting on 2 plain burger combos. Some people that were there before us, were still there after we left. They come out wandering around confused as they are trying to match the order to the number on your rear view mirror. It was an odd experience and not one I plan to repeat anytime soon. Really shouldn’t take that long for fast food.“

“Been dying to try this place out for at least a year and finally got the chance! Celebrated a friends bday here. We ordered 2 apps (spinach & artichoke dip / brisket nachos) both were delicious and portions were large! One of us got fish & chips and the rest of us each got a different burger. Everyone enjoyed their food! My burger was the one with blue cheese and it was so so good. I subbed my fries for the parm fries and they didn’t disappoint! I’ve told everyone I’ve come in contact with since to try out 13twenty, and will be back this weekend for my mom’s bday dinner!“

“I am so happy that my indecisive self decided to give this place a try. I have not been impressed with most of the establishments in the area. My wife and I usually travel to Asheville for good food. On a Sunday there weren’t a lot of options. We decided to give backstreets a try. It’s been years since I ate here and didn’t remember. She got Cajun chicken pasta and I got possibly the best Rueben I’ve had in years. I’d say the pasta is better than Cheesecake Factory. The only negative thing was the judgy couple sitting beside us. However, they cannot control who comes through their doors. The service was excellent and I’m so happy I found a place I am happy with locally.“

“Called Village Inn Myn View and ordered a to go order this past Saturday for 8 people. First, the young lady that answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. Ordered 50 wings and 2 Village Inn pizzas. The wings were worth the $. They were big, fresh and tasty. The pizzas were amazing with gracious toppings. Keep up the good work Mtn View location!!!!💪🏼😉“

There is no picture of the wings. They were so good they dissappear before I could get a picture.
My son took me out for lunch to celebrate his Black Belt ceremony.
My steak tasted really good, and had it been cooked to order, it would have been awesome.
My regret is not sending it back because I ordered medium rare, and I get medium well, and that disappointed me.
I wonder if someone received my steak or did the chef just overcook it.“

“We were traveling through Hickory and decided to stop in. We ordered the crab cakes, calamari, and jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab meat. All were seasoned very well and delicious. The service was awesome. We live an hour and a half away, but the food was so delicious we are considering returning soon 😊.“

“There are so many, so let's be clear about which one we're rating: Fairgrove Church Road, Hickory, NC.
This is our best visit to a Waffle House. We were there late and the place was still busy. Our waitress was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The cook kept up with the orders. The food was prepared as ordered and served hot. I had the "all-star special" which includes an egg dish and a waffle. They waited until I was finishing my eggs to bring my waffle! That is so thoughtful! Although they were busy, the seating area was clean. The men's restroom could have used some attention.

“I started eating here last May and twice a month I'd show up and have the best food experiences ever. Never a bad experience and all food has been top notch and the service on point. Derrian remember most everything I would eat or drink. Just good people and great environment. “Just ate lunch there, and the food is really good, but some of the waitresses attitudes are really less than desirable. we were in line to pay, and a waitress walked behind my husband and said "excuse me" my husband doesn't hear very well, and when he didn't move, her words were "or not, it's okay". “My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!“

“Red Lobster is always great! They made some changes since my last visit which are not favorable for the restaurant. The size of the garlic cheese biscuits has decreased as well as salads no longer come with entrees. You have to pay extra for the salad.“

“A classic fish camp experience. You can't go wrong here. My original review was over 2 years ago. I have been going to Jones' all my life and it remains my favorite fish camp anywhere. I highly recommend the Flounder. They are famous for their slaw (sour) although I prefer the sweet slaw. The service is always excellent.“
