“Ordered through the Firehouse Subs mobile app and received a notification that the Uber Eats driver had picked up my order. While the driver was on the way, I suddenly received several notifications saying the order had been canceled.

I called the store to explain what happened, and the manager on duty graciously offered to remake my order at no charge as long as I was able to pick it up. I really appreciated them stepping up to help with a situation that was completely outside of their control.

My workplace caters lunch every Saturday since it’s our busiest day of the week, and after this experience, Firehouse Subs will definitely be on my list for a future catering order.

Excellent customer service and a great example of taking care of the customer when something goes wrong—even when it wasn’t the store’s fault. Thank you!“

“Omg. I am putting JJ's on the curb!! First time UBER priority $80 order from Albemarle Rd Charlotte!! Subs were awesome!!! Fresh tasting with good tomatoes (not the case with JJ. Theirs are hard and not ripe!) The roast beef was moist and meaty tasting (not the case at JJ. Theirs is slightly dry!) And the tuna!!!!! Yummy fresh. I will order again for sure.“

“From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The location was clean, the menu had plenty of options, and the lady at the register was fast, friendly, and made sure we understood exactly what we were ordering.

Our food came out fresh and quickly, and the guy helping us (I wish I had asked for his name) had one of those genuinely refreshing smiles that makes customer service feel human again. He brought out our food, cleared our trash, and refilled our drinks without making it feel forced.

“It was my first visit. The food was a bit underwhelming but the flavor was good enough. My chicken salad had two bites that weren't good. I'm not sure what it was but I ended up not finishing it. The peach tea was amazing. I would give them another chance though.“

“Lately Jersey Mike's has been letting us down on serving size and staffing, but never this location. All three members of the crew were friendly and quick-working, especially with the little crowd.

Shout out to the lovely young lady that asked every single guest how they are, while staying on task. It was clear by the guests' reactions, how rare this is nowadays.

Additional shout out to the young man that made our subs and has been there for years! He laughed along with us through our nonsense and had a great attitude.

And finally the young lady stocking the chips that let us pick ours before hauling the shelves off to restock.

The only negatives are that the deli is so slammed always because everyone else apparently agrees… and that they’re not open later! But they do have premade/refrigerated sandwiches at least. “I work across the road and every time I stop in for lunch or dinner they always take great care of me everyone there does. Angela especially she’s always been super warm, welcoming , and helpful with my questions she makes me feel like it’s not an inconvenience to sub something more of a good decision. I’ve went only a handful of times but I haven’t had a single complaint other than me finishing my food to fast because it’s so dang good. Definitely recommend. “I had the most exceptional service at this businesses. Not only was the owner the biggest sweetheart ever but the two employees on shift stole my heart. The gorgeous blonde one with frosty blue eyes and freckles like the sun tap-danced across her cheeks was so kind and polite to me as she rung my order up. “Had a great experience with a to go order from this McAlister's location. They were super busy around lunch time, so my order took a little longer than normal (which I totally expected). “My family and I love having Jersey Mike’s close by in Waxhaw now. The staff is always very friendly and the store is always clean. I do have to say that dependent on who is cutting the the deli meat at the time you order your sandwich, you may have a normal amount of meat or hardly any. I know at some locations they weigh it to make sure it’s the correct amount. I wish they’d do this every time. I just have a hard time justifying paying almost $16 for a Giant Sub with such little meat on it. If they could improve this area then they’d for sure be 5 stars in my opinion! And yes, if I’m there and ordering in person then I make sure there is enough on the sandwich or ask them to weigh it. 😊 Pictured below are 2 of our sandwiches from tonight (my husband went and wasn’t paying attention at the amount of meat being put on the sandwiches). “The staff here was amazing. I ordered online and made the mistake of not mentioning that I wanted it cold I tried to get there as fast as I could but they had already started the process. They changed my order even though it meant having to discard what they had already made. They did so without any hesitation. Absolutely incredible customer service and my hats off to the staff. “Today makes my third visit at any Potbelly ever. I experienced a wonderful first impression on my initial visit by expedient and quality the food and service was and made a point to return. Wish I didn't have to pay more for the flatbread option; I love wraps and sandwiches, but I'm just not a fan of eating an excess of doughy breads. I digress.

On the 2nd visit, the service and experience felt a bit rushed, and upon inspecting my sandwich later on, it wasn't up to par as the first. HOWEVER, my third visit allowed me to speak to the manager Paul who is kind and understanding of what little concerns I had, and handled the solution with patience and professionalism during a busy lunch hour.
