“My lady and I walked into this establishment Dec.20th on a Saturday night close to 8pm. It was empty at the time and this would be our first experience with Firehouse . I didn't know what to expect but the commercials finally drove us there. The guy at the counter was very friendly and made us feel extremely welcomed. The subs were ridiculously good! It's all my lady and I could talk about as we dined. No disrespect, but it made me want to go throw eggs at the windows of Subway and Jersey Mike's...lol.“

She moved between making subs, handling online orders, restocking, and keeping the counter clean without missing a beat. When she made my sub, she paid attention to every detail and even checked that everything looked right before wrapping it. The station was clean, the food was fresh, and the service felt genuine. “From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The location was clean, the menu had plenty of options, and the lady at the register was fast, friendly, and made sure we understood exactly what we were ordering.

Our food came out fresh and quickly, and the guy helping us (I wish I had asked for his name) had one of those genuinely refreshing smiles that makes customer service feel human again. He brought out our food, cleared our trash, and refilled our drinks without making it feel forced.

“I came to Penn Station in fort mill where Freda is the GM and Jay made our sandwiches. I just would like to say thank you so much for the amazing and kind service. Freda made us feel more than welcome and took the time to tell us about the menu and help us pick some sandwiches that we really enjoyed. She made us laugh and really wanna come back again. I look forward to coming back next Monday to try a new sandwich and hope to see them there again. Jay also made our sandwiches very well and they weren’t thrown together he actually took the time to make them look just as good as they taste. “Lately Jersey Mike's has been letting us down on serving size and staffing, but never this location. All three members of the crew were friendly and quick-working, especially with the little crowd.

Shout out to the lovely young lady that asked every single guest how they are, while staying on task. It was clear by the guests' reactions, how rare this is nowadays.

Additional shout out to the young man that made our subs and has been there for years! He laughed along with us through our nonsense and had a great attitude.

And finally the young lady stocking the chips that let us pick ours before hauling the shelves off to restock.

“The welcome is “old school” friendly. Service is so good. I was asks at least every 10 minutes if all was ok and offered refills.
The roast beef hoagie dip is great, and probably the freshest coffee in a deli in a long time!!! Well done!!

“The front line folks are outstanding! Service is incredibly fast! I've been here several times and have always had positive experiences. This time, the place seemed dirty, straws on the floor and tables that weren't cleaned. First time I've seen this in several visits, otherwise it's 5 stars.“

“These are the best sandwiches in Charlotte that I’ve had in >10 years. No comparison. The only negatives are that the deli is so slammed always because everyone else apparently agrees… and that they’re not open later! But they do have premade/refrigerated sandwiches at least. And the other snacks and drinks in the place are 👌👌. One of the only places i think to recommend people, or miss when I’m not living nearby.“

“I placed an online order to redeem my free footlong sub for being a Disney+ member. My order was ready within 10 minutes. Once I arrived, I was able to quickly pick up my order. “I’ve heard so much about Capriotti’s that I tried the one in Steele Creek! I’m glad I did! The tuna was amazing! I got the pickled peppers with oil and vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes onion, and pickles. The bread tasted FRESHLY baked and was SOFT! I ordered the small and was STUFFED! I asked for extra mayo, but it wasn’t in the bag. Ordered thru Door Dash.“

“My family and I love having Jersey Mike’s close by in Waxhaw now. The staff is always very friendly and the store is always clean. I do have to say that dependent on who is cutting the the deli meat at the time you order your sandwich, you may have a normal amount of meat or hardly any. I know at some locations they weigh it to make sure it’s the correct amount. I wish they’d do this every time. I just have a hard time justifying paying almost $16 for a Giant Sub with such little meat on it. If they could improve this area then they’d for sure be 5 stars in my opinion! And yes, if I’m there and ordering in person then I make sure there is enough on the sandwich or ask them to weigh it. 😊 Pictured below are 2 of our sandwiches from tonight (my husband went and wasn’t paying attention at the amount of meat being put on the sandwiches). “This is my family of 3 second visit and we have been impressed each time. My husband is from New Jersey and I'm from Buffalo area of NY(Go Bills! Lol). It's been challenging finding the Best steak sandwich in town. Capriotti's has become our go to for Steak sandwiches and tuna submarines.

Olivia and Tori provided us with stellar service (attentive, knowledgeable staff), and a warm and inviting atmosphere. As soon as we entered the establishment we were treated like valued guests. They provided excellent recommendations and promptly responded to inquiries.

The dark rye roast beef sandwich is especially amazing… so good and so satisfying. I also really enjoyed the macaroni salad and broccoli salad, which tasted fresh and classic. This place is exactly how I remember it!

“Today makes my third visit at any Potbelly ever. I experienced a wonderful first impression on my initial visit by expedient and quality the food and service was and made a point to return. Wish I didn't have to pay more for the flatbread option; I love wraps and sandwiches, but I'm just not a fan of eating an excess of doughy breads. I digress.

On the 2nd visit, the service and experience felt a bit rushed, and upon inspecting my sandwich later on, it wasn't up to par as the first. HOWEVER, my third visit allowed me to speak to the manager Paul who is kind and understanding of what little concerns I had, and handled the solution with patience and professionalism during a busy lunch hour.

It's because of my experience with him that I'm inclined to come back more often. Overall, the food is great here and the ingredients are of good quality when handled with care and attention. I definitely recommend.“

“Jimmy John’s came THROUGH. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch but swapped the chicken for turkey—and omg, 10/10 recommend. The turkey was fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch? Literally elite.
