“Tonight was a very special night. And honestly, it doesn’t matter if it’s a special night or not. The owner of the restaurant always make sure that we’re satisfied with the quality of service and food. I was in the restaurant business before moving onto my career. For almost 15 years. It helped me get through school and pay for a lot. So I have understanding of European cuisine fusion and other types of Cuisines that typically people find appealing. This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is always on point. I’ve been dining here takeout and dine in for two years plus. If there’s ever a discrepancy with my order? The owner always makes things right. Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and until the day I die, this restaurant will have my business. If you’re on vacation or you’re here playing golf? Hell, if you’re a person that just moved here and looking for a great spot to call home? I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was only allowed to give them five out of five stars? They would have a solid five stars and I’ll be looking for a way to create another star. They are that good. Thank you so much for quality food and excellent service. “How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.“

“We never miss coming here on our 5-6 visits to Little River/Myrtle Beach each year. The staff is welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. The restaurant is clean. The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. “I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!“

“We stopped here after our dolphin watching cruise because it was close by and we were starving! Oh my goodness! I’m so glad we stopped. I had the BEST crab cake I have ever had. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!“

I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. “We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“

“Its on the beach. Huge deck. Breeze. Staff awesome and really more laid back locals place. Food is great.. its bar food but great. Outstanding breakfast..on the beach. They have a HLT sandwich with southern country ham. Ask for double ham..for few bucks more. Still under $10. Awesome. If you comfortable with a true Southern bar.. Pro America. Pro military. Patriotic. Not in your face.. we are Southern with manners ingrained. You will be around folks that are patriots.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during day. Its a bar too...so after dinner hours I would say time take kids putt putt.“

We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. We have been here three times so far and they have been very consistent each time. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“Today was my first time trying Bella's pizza. I chose carry out and for those that are new to Calabash you may hesitate dining at Bella's because it's located in a strip mall. Don't let that deter you. It's a small establishment but it's clean and the staff is friendly. I ordered a pizza and garlic knots. When I arrived back to my home and opened everything I was pleasantly surprised at how everything smelled and looked. The pizza was very good and you could tell that all the ingredients were fresh. The garlic knots were soft and tasty( on the side you get a small cup of marinara sauce for dipping the knots). I'm always apprehensive about trying local pizza establishments because I'm a Chicago girl and I'm used to Chicago pizza. But now that I've tried Bella's, I'll be a return customer. Try Bella's you won't be disappointed.“

“We’ve eaten here year after year. Ate here tonight and it was as great as always. I had the grilled seafood platter and everything was perfect. Each fish tasted fresh and not dry. Has salmon, oyster Rockefeller, sea scallops, shrimp, a crab cake with green beans. Both filing and done right. Others in our group had lamb, duck, grouper, chicken and all enjoyed it. Definitely made with fresh ingredients every day. I also think anything less the a 10 rating is not appropriate.“

“1/2 and 1/2...love their bar pie with a beer. Went today had chicken Florentine and the chicken was horrible, not even bad but horrible. Over cooked, dry and awful. Thought the waitress would refuse to serve but she did ..will never have dinner there again although I will return for beer and pizza but that is it.“

“To me, this is the best spot in Calabash to get breakfast. It's absolutely my favorite! The owner and her staff are always amazing very attentive and super friendly. I've never gotten a bad vibe in there. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits with a side order of smoked sausage, my husband loves the omelette and my son loves the Belgium waffles. I would love to give this establishment more than five stars. We will always continue to go here!“
