“Tonight was a very special night. And honestly, it doesn’t matter if it’s a special night or not. The owner of the restaurant always make sure that we’re satisfied with the quality of service and food. I was in the restaurant business before moving onto my career. For almost 15 years. It helped me get through school and pay for a lot. So I have understanding of European cuisine fusion and other types of Cuisines that typically people find appealing. This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is always on point. I’ve been dining here takeout and dine in for two years plus. If there’s ever a discrepancy with my order? The owner always makes things right. Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and until the day I die, this restaurant will have my business. If you’re on vacation or you’re here playing golf? Hell, if you’re a person that just moved here and looking for a great spot to call home? I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was only allowed to give them five out of five stars? They would have a solid five stars and I’ll be looking for a way to create another star. They are that good. Thank you so much for quality food and excellent service. “How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.“

“We loved everything about our tasting experience! Sam was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The tour is one room but they pack a lot into it! The speakeasy tasting at the end was perfect. We booked the last tasting, 5 PM, and booked it late. There were no other people on our tour so it was basically one on one with Sam. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Myrtle Beach or if you’re local and haven’t tried this place yet!!“

“Blown away by how good the food was. Shrimp and scallop plate was probably the best fried plate I've ever had. Potato salad was delicious and quintessentially southern. The Cole slaw was "perfect". The hush puppies were not my style but still good and not greasy. The tarter and cocktail sauce is made in house and

“We stopped here after our dolphin watching cruise because it was close by and we were starving! Oh my goodness! I’m so glad we stopped. I had the BEST crab cake I have ever had. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!“

“We never miss coming here on our 5-6 visits to Little River/Myrtle Beach each year. The staff is welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. The restaurant is clean. The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. “Have eaten here several times over the past few years. Consistently one of the finest seafood restaurants we’ve ever visited. While the atmosphere isn’t exceptional, it’s good for a seafood restaurant. Of all the Calabash restaurants, this is our favorite. We ordered drinks as soon as seated and then food. ALL was delivered inside of 10 minutes - probably 5 minutes. We had fried shrimp and clam strips. Breading, temperature, and presentation was excellent. Delicious! Hush puppies with honey butter was our dessert! Senior menu option and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place if you’re trying to decide which of the dozen restaurants to dine at in Calabash.

“We just moved to Calabash from a town up north where a great pizza was impossible to find. Bella's was the first pizza we had here and OMG, DELICIOUS. Their Supreme pizza checked all our boxes. The crust is light and crispy, not soggy. The toppings are generous but not overly so and always cooked to perfection. The sauce is well seasoned and not overly thick or too tomato-y. Bella's Pizza quickly became our go-to, #1 choice for pizza after our first pie. The staff are always friendly and attentive and although we dined-in the first time, we prefer take out because the dining area isn't the greatest. But for us, it's about the pizza so carry out is just fine!!! Can't recommend highly enough.“

“Vacationing and stopped here while shopping, as it’s next to Publix grocery and wowzers! It’s great. The she-crab soup was creamy and well-seasoned, the buffalo chicken salad had that Goldilocks amount of zing: spicy, but sweet and not overpowering the rest of the salad. The chicken salad was delicious and really chicken salad on salad greens. And our waiter, Andrew, was a delight. Highly recommend.“

I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. “I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!“

Small menu but people are there to meet with friends and have a drink in a fun environment...pool table in the back...great bartender service and in warm weather is open to the outside...always a stop when in the area...“

“Its on the beach. Huge deck. Breeze. Staff awesome and really more laid back locals place. Food is great.. its bar food but great. Outstanding breakfast..on the beach. They have a HLT sandwich with southern country ham. Ask for double ham..for few bucks more. Still under $10. Awesome. If you comfortable with a true Southern bar.. Pro America. Pro military. Patriotic. Not in your face.. we are Southern with manners ingrained. You will be around folks that are patriots.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during day. Its a bar too...so after dinner hours I would say time take kids putt putt.“

“We’ve eaten here year after year. Ate here tonight and it was as great as always. I had the grilled seafood platter and everything was perfect. Each fish tasted fresh and not dry. Has salmon, oyster Rockefeller, sea scallops, shrimp, a crab cake with green beans. Both filing and done right. Others in our group had lamb, duck, grouper, chicken and all enjoyed it. Definitely made with fresh ingredients every day. I also think anything less the a 10 rating is not appropriate.“

“We visit each year with our large family while vacationing at Ocean Isle Beach. This year, we thought we would change it up and go to the Boundary House where we were told they would not accommodate us in any fashion. Called Clark’s, no problem. The reservation was made, a text confirmation sent but unfortunately I didn’t pay close attention to it. When we arrived, I realized that our reservation had been made for the wrong date. The staff were quick to find a solution and honestly, I can’t speak if I told them the wrong date or they wrote it down wrong, doesn’t matter either way, I should have checked the text better. Anyway, after a few moments and a short patient wait, they were able to accommodate our party of 30 that they were not expecting and we never knew the difference. The service was excellent and the food amazing as always. Coming from someone who has worked in the food service industry, I know exactly how they felt and how our party could have acted. However through accommodation and patience, everything went well and we couldn’t be more thankful that it all worked out. 10/10 recommend for service and delicious food and drinks!“

“We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“

“We had dinner here twice this week. Really good happy hour food and drink specials, I just wish they didn’t end it at 530. Thought that was a little odd. We had grouper bits and buffalo shrimp. Then shared fried oysters and scallops. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server/bartender was Matthew and he was awesome“

Thought the waitress would refuse to serve but she did ..will never have dinner there again although I will return for beer and pizza but that is it.“

We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable.
