Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.“

“South Beach Grill is a staple during our annual OBX vacation. We order from there 2-3 times during the week. They are fast, friendly, and ordering is easy online. Dinner for our group of 9 was ready for pick-up in less than 20 minutes. Everyone has tried multiple things from the menu and everyone was extremely pleased with everything they’ve tried. My favorites are the southwest wrap, burgers, and Buffalo chicken Philly. Their fries are delicious… especially with their fry sauce or BBQ ranch. South Beach Grill is a must have on your OBX vacation!“

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆“

We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!“

There are 2 locations, the other location is a bit larger and has a merch shop.

“I had a wonderful omelette made with fresh vegetables and turkey bacon. The fresh pressed juice was so delicious. As a person with food allergies, Freshfit has many options for me. They offer vegan and gluten free items, plus turkey sausage or bacon instead of pork. We can’t wait to eat there again on our next OBX visit!“

“This little place doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you're looking for anything other than seafood in the area, Top China is perfect!
The chicken mai fun was divine! Made with glass noodles that were unbelievably good, plus tender chicken and veggies. Quick service.

“We were there recently, during the July 4th holiday and, honestly, everything was aces! The fish and chips, brat sandwich, and pulled pork sandwiches were all hot and absolutely delicious. We went in expecting so-so, typical generic fare but it was a thousand degrees and we were sweltering, hungry, and it was close. We had to wait just a short while for a table but there's a little shop you can amble about if you like. It was bustling, and tables are fairly close, but our server was right on it and did a great job. We can't wait until our next visit!“

“I am not biased because I know the owner but for a first time experience, my expectations were exceeded ... the sunset over the water was incredible tonight. The owner seated us and the wait staff was awesome. Thank you Ervin and Sugar Creek team for superb service and for allowing us to hang out a little past closing. “This place has been around for a long time and is very popular for lunch. Their burgers are quite good and their prices are very reasonable. The service is quick. There is no indoor seating, but there are plenty of picnic tables around the building. It reminds of many other burger joints we've visited. No frills but good food for low prices!!“

“I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat customers at the restaurant. Very disappointed.“
