“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! Tortilleria Molina has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. I’ve tried both the chicken and steak tacos, as well as the steak and pork burritos — and every single bite has been nothing short of amazing. The flavors are rich and authentic, the meat is always perfectly cooked, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell they put real heart into their food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!“

“It was fabulous, fresh, flavor packed, I had 3 types of tacos and plantains with a wonderful crema to dip. Almost everything on the menu except 1 sauce was soyfree, with my allergy it was amazing to have a fresh, hot fish taco.We followed up with a second visit of breakfast tacos , churto tots and Soledad style hot chocolate before we left Asheville.“

“Am testifying of the miraculous work of a great traditional doctor called Dr MOMOH. “Amazing!!!! We came to this restaurant because they offer corn smut (huitolocoche) as a vegetarian option. \n\nI ordered the quesadilla with the corn smut and it was excellent!!!! I’ve never tried it before and am so excited to add this to my menu. We asked and they get it fresh from Mexico. \n\nI ordered two tacos as well. One nopal (cactus) taco, fresh and out of this world good. The other was the squash blossom which I could eat every day!!!!!\n\nI like to leave positive reviews when possible and this restaurant’s food is so good I just had to review. \n\nI’m from out of town and sadly can’t visit this restaurant unless I’m in town again but if I come back i definitely will.“

My old joke that a good Mexican restaurant has a big TV and a soccer game running stands true here as well.
But what makes this place great is the food. It is more California Mex, which this former Californian misses.
Basic as it is, I almost always get the chicken burrito. Interesting blend of flavors, and just the right amount of sour cream to carry the entire meal.“

“Super delicious. It takes about 10min for them to prepare your order and it's hot, fresh, and tasty. My order is usually about $13, and it's well worth it. There's plenty of parking and even space for larger vehicles to pull up.“

Support these awesome people by enjoying their amazing food. “We ordered take-out. Carnitas and Molcajete from their House Specialties. The staff was friendly and nice, they refilled one salsa bin because I asked for that one specifically! The food was wonderful. Lots of meat in the dishes. We ate only half for our dinner and will enjoy it again tomorrow! I'm not sure what happened with those that had bad experiences. We've eaten there twice and it was amazing both times. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean and the setting is cozy. I highly recommend this little eatery!“

“We wanted Mexican food tonight and decided to give the Merrimon Avenue location a try. (Take out). The order was ready when I arrived. We are very pleased with the food. The Nacho Supremes were great and the Enchiladas Supreme were excellent. Would recommend that if you want Mexican food, this is the place to go.“

“I lived very close to this place for years but only went twice. The first experience was about a 2 star as the meat was dry and not tasty and I felt like it was overpriced (circa 2022). Then a month ago I went on a random weekday for happy hour specials and the mini nachos option and a marg redeemed this place. It was exactly what I wanted.“

“This place has THE BEST spicy chicken quesadillas anywhere, truly. I am a big eater of chicken, and of quesadillas, and in my years of coming here I've never had a bad one, and almost always get an incredible one. Their prices are fairly high, and I don't know their whole menu, but I could have one every day here and never tire of it. If you enjoy a good spicy chicken quesadilla, you've found a new favorite spot.“

That is great! Also I can tell they have a great manager. Tonight we were missing one of our combos. So we drove back. It happens when you have a family of 4 and your orders are kinda big, Items sometimes get missed. The manager made sure it got taken care of quickly and made sure to encourage his employee to stay aware of the details. It just makes me trust this location. He obviously cares about accuracy and doing things right. Thank you to the manager.
The employee Paula was very nice and made sure we had exactly what we asked for and was super polite. She is the kind of person that makes you want to come back :)“

“One of the guys showing folk to their tables was very rude, yeah, you know who you are! Everyone else was great and food was good. If you show up before your party don't ask to get a table and for sure when the rude table guy says you have to wait don't ask him to explain. I've eaten there many times but I think I'll go somewhere else from now on. Maybe the guy just had a bad day, who knows. I know losing my limited business won't hurt them but I'd rather be somewhere appreciated.“
