“We’ve ordered from here before. Again this evening we ordered. They were helpful on the phone and quick with delivery. The food was very hot and you could tell it was freshly made. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend the ginger chicken, chicken with snow peas, general Tsao’s (?) chicken. Chicken wings were crispy and meaty, but you only get 2. Beef on a stick was very good but again you only get 2 smaller skewers. Skip the shrimp toast. Only 2 again and very greasy. Did not enjoy them. Total bonus points for being generous with the sauces and I love love love that they send these little bags with a fortune cookie and 2 tea bags. I guess they really like the #2!“

“This place serves delicious food! Anytime that I have a craving for Chinese food, I always come here! I usually get the food delivered to my job but I have also picked up my food. The food is always hot and fresh. The roast pork fried rice, chicken wings, shrimp fried rice, and French fries are really good! Their broccoli in garlic sauce is amazing! The workers are very friendly and courteous. The delivery drivers are also always friendly, and very fast delivery! “Happen to stop by based on reviews and boy the reviews didn’t fail. We ordered a combo- 5 special rolls and 2 entrees. It was more than enough for 4 hungry adults. All the rolls we ordered were so fresh and tasty. They have one of the best rolls! We ordered a hot and spicy shrimp and it was so crispy and the sauce was delicious. They even take the tails off! A yummy surprise was the free roll they gave us! Can’t wait to return…“

“I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so when I happened to be in the area, I made sure I finally checked it out and I'm so glad that I did. I went on a late Saturday afternoon, so the wait wasn't too long. I bet it was probably busier during the actual lunch time. My friends and I got the following: #16 - spicy ground pork over hand-pulled noodles #44 - scallion pancake Noodle #2 - beef with hand pulled noodle soup They were all very good, but we really liked the spicy ground pork dish. We actually wanted to try the wide noodles, so we actually ordered just some of them plain and mixed them with the leftover spicy pork sauce. It actually tasted better with the wide noodles. I usually always add hot oil to my food whenever I get a chance, but the spicy ground pork had a perfect kick to it, so didn't need the hot oil at all. However, the one dish I was surprised and really liked was the complimentary side dish of a cucumber salad, made with very simple seasonings according to our server. It was soooooo good and went so well with all the dishes and added freshness to the rich food we were eating. My friend even ordered some to take home, which was around $6/$7 (can't remember exact price). If you do go, don't skip the cucumbers. Not a fancy or big place, but the turn over is pretty quick because the service is fast, so food comes out very quick. If you're in the area and you want good food, this is a place you must stop by. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.“

“I ordered two general tsos chicken dinner combos the other day and really enjoyed my food. My husband noticed that the pork fried rice looked different from what he is used to. We both agreed that it looked and tasted healthier. The fried rice was lighter in color and was not greasy. My guess is maybe they don't reuse the oil? (I wouldn't care if they did to be honest). The food was good and I think decent general tsos chicken is hard to come by (even at the nice dine in restaurants). I said hi to a woman behind the counter when I first got there but she didn't say hi back :(. She did leave the restaurant right after so maybe she didn't actually work there. The man who took my order was friendly though. It's a typical Chinese take out spot and it looked clean.“

“Looks like a very regular Chinese takeout at first glance, but that’s where it stops. Food here is so good. Not the greasy, soggy basic, Chinese takeout you’d expect. Food tastes super fresh and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Just ordered food here for a lazy Monday night where I didn't feel like cooking myself. Food was delivered within 20 minutes, HOT, and good tasting. Especially with inflation, there is a decent amount of meat in each wanton & meat dish I ordered. “This place is exceptional! I believe they’ve been in business for over 30 years for good reason. Chinese food is not my favorite food but these guys do such an awesome job that everything I have from them, I love. You can tell that integrity and quality is priority in everything they make.Second of all, and I think this is extremely important, they are so friendly! They always say hello, ask how you are, make eye contact and thank you for your business. That’s not common these days in a lot of casual dining places and It goes a long way with me.In a town where there is probably eight Chinese places in a 5 mile radius. “The food at No. 1 Wok's is very good. I've gotten take out from there over 20 times and was happy every time. I never had gastrointestinal issues after eating it because everything was fresh and properly handled. You get a lot of food here and a few times the food was even 5 star. The owner is very friendly to me and that makes me feel good because I work on the road alone most days and it's nice to have a friendly encounter of this nature.“

“I used to go to D n B in lake Hiawatha and loved it but with new owners their fried rice and other food has changed and I just don't care for it. I recently decided to try China City out and have my wonderful fried rice back. I also find their portions of beef n Broccoli and sweet. N sour to be plentiful. Not a fancy place just great food“

“okay they made one mistake in my order, they gave me white rice instead of brown rice. the tofu dinner was a little bit bland, but otherwise the place is good. it had been recommended to me by a friend. I would have to say without a doubt, this was the most food at the lowest price of any Chinese takeout in New Jersey. with that in mind, in addition to large quantities, the quality of the food was pretty good.
