“Chazz Palminteri is our go to whenever we are in the city. Why you ask??? First and foremost is the people! Besnik and Nikolla treat us like family. We have been going here for over 10 years. The service is the absolute best. Secondly the food is always amazing. Last night I had the pre fix dinner with mussels, Salmon and sorbet. Delicious, as always!! The restaurant staff show great professionalism They were warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing prompt service. The cocktails were strong but both tasty and refreshing. From the pizza to the tartare to the pasta, everything was freshly prepared and full of flavor. It’s literally nothing like authentic, freshly prepared pasta and they nailed it. Definitely high on my list of top Italian spots I have experienced.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “A much-anticipated and much-enjoyed lunch at Santi. Every staff member was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and all with proper discretion. I felt really well taken care of during my entire visit.

The tonno was presented beautifully, and is a perfectly composed dish. The textures and flavors align to a really satisfying bite.

And the busiante was divine - unctuous and rich without being too heavy. My only regret was that it was too early in the day to enjoy with a glass of barolo. A reason to return!

The seasonal focaccia was also an excellent touch. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Sat at Chefs counter. Started with steak tartar special which was amazing. Next a Spring pasta with envelopes of melted ricotta cheese. My favorite was the rabbit with rigatoni. Unbelievable. A couple glasses of the Barolo by the glass, along with the ice cream sandwich and we were in heaven!“

Good cocktails; to start loved Patrick’s Focaccia, the 24 mo. Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta.
