“We had a surprise party here with 50 people and cannot say enough about our entire experience. From the attentive service leading up to the day, to the delicious food (catered by 'House of Que',), to the variety of drinks, the exemplary service from all staff members (who consistently asked what more they could do) to the tech support for a multi screen slide show and lots of other unexpected tasks, all performed with smiles. They played exactly the kind of music we requested and a bonus was the floor to ceiling view! We did not even know there were windows. The Dream Bar looks out at MetLife Stadium and we had a LOT of Giants fans in our group - including the guest of honor. They all thought we planned that on purpose. It was just one more perk and all at very reasonable cost. We highly recommend this venue for any special event. And so do all our friends, who had no idea this gem existed within American Dream. Thank you Dream Bar and 'House of Que' for making everything so seamless and a terrific day we will never forget.

“Staff was friendly and very involved on the time we spent. Our instructor was very helpful and made it easy for us to understand how we kept score. We opened a tab and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Music wasn't to loud that you couldn't talk. Every lane was safe as they had cages and made sure people threw in their own caged lane. Overall I'd rate this place 9 out of 10“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! “I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. Lucas was absolutely fantastic. He has that rare mix of professionalism and personality that makes you want to stay a little longer. He took the time to ask what kind of flavors we liked and then recommended a few cocktails off-menu that turned out to be spot on. He worked quickly even though the bar was packed, never losing his cool, and somehow managed to make everyone at the bar feel like they were his favorite customer. You can tell he really knows his craft — and actually enjoys it.

It’s that kind of attentive, genuine service that turns a good night into a memorable one. Thanks to Lucas and the whole Ten Degrees team, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Genuinely the best time ever!!!! My roommate and I already made plans to come back during the week for their happy hour deal! Everyone who worked here was SO nice and helpful! I asked if it was okay to bring a cake that my friend had baked for me into the restaurant and not only did they say yes but they ALSO provided everything we needed to cut and serve the cake and they put the candles in for me and lit them. We all got the happiest hamburger which was DELISH and the fries are really skinny which is yum and the Hugo spritz was great too!!!! The music is also so good!!! Amazing vibes, amazing food, amazing music!!! Also shoutout to the hostess Olivia who was the SWEETEST!!!!!!! She obviously wished me happy birthday but then later came over with a handwritten card for me as well as adorable matchboxes and pens for me and all of my friends!!! She was incredible!!! “I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite!
