“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.”

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. -Expensive ? Tbh NO (is one of the cheapest places I’ve went) Ive taken my 3 kids, my mom and I and my bill wont make it to 150.
Can get packed on weekends I prefer to call and get an estimate wait time.
You can enjoy a nice drink by yourself at the bar or eat with family ether or I believe you will leave with a good experience”

Im glad I did ,I have to say my goddaughter sweet 16 turned out so beautiful it was more then we expected we sent her a picture and she matched it to the tee, and it tasted amazing. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!”

“First off, I was met with by a staff member in a cowboy hat (LOVE!) The booth was so soft and comfy and the table stands are ornate. I had the short rib and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! It was so tender and the sides were so plentiful and delicious. Each side had something a little different to pair well with the meat; sweet, salty, savory! I also had the shik Karak which was a delicious tea and for dessert, I had a banana crepe drizzled in chocolate. They do have a flair with food and I will definitely be back here!”

“Best Subs anywhere in the State of Jersey. You can’t find a better cheesesteak anywhere. The meat is so fresh & tender. Chicken cutlets also made fresh & delicious. All of the subs are great; my personal favorite is Turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato mayo, oil & vinegar & spices. Fries w Cheese & gravy make a great side, if you can fit it. Girls like me born in 1970, love this type of old school atmosphere! Makes me feel young again! P.S. don’t forget to try the BLT’s.”
