“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.”

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!”

“We had an excellent experience at It’s Greek To Me in Fort Lee. The food was outstanding from start to finish. One of the biggest surprises was the bean soup it’s not ordered often (according to our server), but it was absolutely delicious and something totally new for us. Everything else was just as good: the fried zucchini croquettes, calamari, feta puffs with sriracha honey, Greek salad, NY strip steak, and the grilled seafood platter with shrimp, calamari, and octopus. For dessert, the baklava was classic and perfect, and the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was incredible.
The service truly stood out. Benny took amazing care of us and made the entire experience even better attentive, kind, and professional. Parking is available, which is a huge plus in Fort Lee. We would 100% come back and highly recommend this restaurant.”

A thoughtful detail is that they serve the extra shake in a metal cup, so you get more than just what’s in your glass.
Service was also excellent. My food arrived in under five minutes, and the staff were both efficient and genuinely friendly, adding to the positive experience.
