“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. I highly recommend this business.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “walked by this bakery when I was wandering around the Bronx and the cake display case caught my eye because they had such a great variety! we had a hard time deciding what slices to get and the clerk (who is also the wife of the cake whiz on the kitchen) was so nice and patient. she told us about how their business started and it's about to be two years at this retail location after years of running a cottage kitchen.

we got the chocoflan and tres leches slices and they were SO delicious! the chocoflan had a perfect ratio of choco cake and flan, and the choco cake was also moist (sometimes people make it too dry). the tres leches is creamy and dreamy and everything one would want in a tres leches.

We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). Since Erin McKennas bakery closed in NYC I’ve been on a hunt for a bakery that meets my allergen needs as a lot of vegan bakeries are not also nut free or don’t offer gluten free baked goods. I got a cookie and some of the No Whey chocolates and my partner got a cake truffle and cupcake. The cookie was amazing and my partner said the cake truffle was really good too (they didn’t get a gluten free one). I am happy to know that I have a safe bakery that I can go to and recommend to my family. Will be going back here!“

“I found Bertha after doing a search for two tier custom cakes in the Bronx. I was unsure and a little skeptical about ordering online from someone I couldn’t physically meet but I took the chance and ordered 7 dozen cupcakes and a two tiered chocolate cake with chocolate filling for my daughters sweet sixteen and they came out so beautiful and delicious. She asked me to send a pic of a cake that I liked and she replicated the cake so well with my own lil spin on it. She did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her and buy cakes from her for any event I may have in the future. Also, she is much cheaper than most bakeries that usually would charge $800 for the cake I wanted. I only paid $280 and the cake was just as beautiful as the cake another bakery quoted. Highly recommend her if your looking for beautiful and great tasting cakes!“

You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “Seems to be a newer business in downtown Ridgewood right on the corner across from the post office. Probably the best orange scone and oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing imported or stale. The setup is a little weird with how they have some of the baked goods because it's hard to see them all. I wish it was a little easier to see the selection. Maybe it's a good thing you can't really see everything because I would buy it all and be 900 pounds. Great addition to the area!“

She had no idea I was having a really hard day, but her attitude genuinely lifted my spirits more than she probably realizes.
