“I've now been there three times for lunch. We split a burger and cheese steak on the first visit. Both were excellent. Owner Gus brought out a couple of slices of pizza for us to try. Both were so good, I decided to go for the Eggplant pizza on my second vist. I was there again yesterday with a party of three, a pizza, eggplant parm on a seeded roll, and an amazing chicken cutlet sandwich. Highly recommend for food, service, and friendly staff.“

“Really good! Late afternoon meal and only had lunch food but all was super good. I consider myself a Burger officianado and the Hitzel burger was incredible. Fries had awesome seasoning. The small stromboli was huge. Staff was super friendly. We stopped there because it is a byob and a favorite brewery of mine is only 50 yards away so had some fresh brew with a great meal.“

“As someone who used to own and managed true Italian and licensed kosher delis and a butcher (been one for years); Primohoagies is by far the best sub we've had since moving to the area. Two thumbs up to Michael (Manager) and Steve (Owner) for outstanding service and attention to detail. Finally, a sandwich shop that slices their own deli; and doesn't use AC bread. ☆☆☆☆☆“

“We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

“Excellent restaurant in the Tropicana Hotel Atlantic. We went from the happy hour, where William the bartender provided us with some insight on a few good wines available at the Verdi, over to dinner. I ordered the wine with a fabulous porkchop offered on the special 3 course. The price was very reasonable, especially at a high end restaurant. Service was on point without being all over you. I recommend.“

We had just returned from Italy and were reminiscing with some friends about the food and how it compared to the freshness of the meals at Sunday gravy. I checked out the online menu (which does vary slightly from their new menu) and was sold! Not one single thing disappointed. “Excellent meal and plenty leftover. Seafood Zuppetta is one of my favorites. Tasty and filled with a lot of seafood. Husband had spaghetti & meatballs . The sauce is perfect and meatballs were delicious. Clams oreganato were good but quite small. The cheesecake is delicious, ricotta with graham cracker crust and the chocolate cake is ....huge and very rich. Our servers were wonderful (Big Jose & Cindy). Friendly & knowledgeable.“

The Pool Boy drink is unreal, and over both my two times there, the food has been so fresh and well prepared. There staff takes great care of you, gives a deep dive into the menu, which they’re very versed in and always happy to give a tour of the different rooms, which I’d definitely ask to see going for the first time. “We did a catering order 3 hours ahead a time. The store was very busy inside and on line orders were crazy. We arrive to pick and it wasup not ready. We waited for 45 minutes. The chicken parm was dry. The past was not as hot as it should have been. Just not happy with that order and the wait.“

“I work at Absecon Family Dental and I had to run to the UPS store to return something and I decided to pick up something for myself and my son. Didn't want to cook, I drove around and spotted Napoli Pizza Grill. I walked in and it smelled amazing. I ordered a Sicilian Margherita Pizza. It was the longest 55 minute drive, especially on an empty stomach. I love this gem of a place, it took me back to my hometown NYC. I love this place, they were welcoming and the place is so clean. “Our office is very close to Johnny's and we go quiet often. The owner Johnny is always there and sometimes you will see him walking around the dining rooms checking on things. His wife is also present usually and ensures everyone is having a great time. The food here is amazing and the best Italian on the island. I recommend the Calamari or any of their Veal specials. They also make an amazing Chicken Parm. We love the atmosphere, it is classy but relaxed. Also, they have a DJ there that is out of this world (I believe his name is also Johnny) and our office loves to come when he is there! Fun for all. I would not bring kids here, that is not the vibe at all. They are also open for breakfast, and I think that is one of the best on the island as well. I recommend Johnny's to many of the people interact with on the daily, it will always be my go to spot.“

“This place is such a VIBE....The food was phenomenal, we had the watermelon salad (oh my lord, the flavor in this was outstanding, so glad I tried it), the lobster gnocchi, and the lobster, shrimp and scallop Fra Diavolo - both excellent dishes! The complimentary bread and olive oil plate that came out before our meals was also exceptional, full of spices and flavor. We booked on Resy and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food came out quickly and the service was excellent as well. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive, and the manager and chef came to our table during our dinner to check in. The additional staff that refilled our water and cleared our plates were also very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale and the view of the marina is spectacular. “Last night was our 1st time there, and I must say, it was OUTSTANDING. We had chicken Parm, 9th street chicken, Veal Milanese, and Linguini w/chicken. All dishes had excellent presentation, very hot and huge! Food was delicious. Atmosphere was a bit tight and loud especially if you want to have a conversation, but overall we really enjoyed it. We will be going back and recommending this restaurant. Going to try the Pizza as that looked great!“
