“I ordered dinner yesterday and came back for breakfast today. I ordered Tres Golpes (Mangu, salami, fried cheese, and fried egg) which is a Dominican breakfast, two guava y queso empanadas and a coca cola. The breakfast was very authentic and flavorful. The empanadas were good too. The staff is very attentive, greets you and takes your order as soon as you walk in. The place is very nice inside and you can grab a table to sit down and dine in if you want. The breakfast is better than the lunch and dinner in my opinion.“

“I got married on 5/25/25 and the very next day we were having a BBQ. With no time to cook I decided to cater. I ordered from Caribbean Station and it was amazing. It was fresh and so delicious, everyone talked about the food. Since then I have catered my Labor Day BBQ and next will be my daughter’s baby shower. They are the best!“

“The best chimi I’ve had. The meat is exceptionally seasoned, you can taste the oregano and tartness from the lime or vinegar, and it’s perfect on salt. Whoever thought on putting it on a brioche bun, it’s a genius.

Don’t sleep on the picadera too! The pork carne salada is so good and they put wasakaka sauce all over the meat. The tostones are not drowned in oil and are so crispy.

The only shame is that I live 45 minutes away and can’t eat here more often. But whenever I’m in Perth Amboy, I grab a chimi from here.“

“Stopped here out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. The cheapest and yummiest Dominican food Ive had in NJ so far!

We got 2 lunches of white rice and stew chicken, 2 orders of beans and an order of sweet plantains. Total: $22! They serve SOOOO much food, we had left overs. My plate in the photo is after me eating quite a bit already. We then went back and got 2 tres leches, each were $3.50. Very yummy, I highly recommend this restaurant. In regards to customer service they were so sweet, professional and attentive. I wish this business lots of good fortune and will spread the word. They are amazing.“

I'm puerto rican but the Dominican food is a little different than the puerto rican food but it brings home memories of PR and DR when I used to go visit on vacation now I'm an old lady I don't travel much but going to this restaurant brings back great memories if you have the time pass by you won't waste your time or your money it's a great place God-bless all“

“I recently visited Sabor De Mi Pais Restaurant, and I had a great experience. As soon as you walk in, you are warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

They offer a wide variety of food options to choose from. I ordered white rice with pollo al horno and beans, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My coworker also loved their meal and said the food was amazing.

I remember I left out the restaurant and got in my car and my sister dropped her whole tray of food in my car and I went back in and told the Cashier and she insisted on helping me clean out my entire front seat and helped me get all of the food out of my car. Second, the service is the best within a 10-mile radius, and that’s mainly because of one person: the bartender. Karla is the best in many ways but her smile and effort to make sure I was just ok and smiling was the best. She is by far one of the best service bartenders in the area. Not only did she brighten my day, but she also enhances the entire experience with her smile and exceptional service.
