“Sparta Taverna had always been great with their food and service! For this one time off, we made a huge office order and they forgot to submit my order therefore I had to make an individual order through grub hub. And because of the service fee and delivery fee I was charged at $30 for a salad. I've made a call to Sparta to let them know if they can throw in one small tzatziki sauce as a courtesy. They'd say "No" at first but when it arrived. Inside my lunch bag they gave me the sauce and a lollipop! So sweet! I wish for them to continue their business with great success!“

We hosted a family feast here, we had music, great food and great enviornment.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful! “Food is delicious here, always fresh and in good quantity, however prices have continued to go up since I first started going there and also with ordering takeout/delivery. Sometimes just ordering a Greek salad and a gyro, when all is said and done it's nearing $50. I know prices are up everywhere, but some things don't warrant such a jump in price. And definitely shouldn't stay at that price for the long term. Hoping prices will come down as food prices begin to improve.“

They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. After becoming extremely sick and hospitalized early this year from visiting Zai’s Dessertery in Bergenfield and forcing myself to eat disgusting, stone hard, and sugar packed desserts, due to not being able to get my money back from the cashier, Athens Bakery has been a great find for sure. “This is a great little Cafe. I walked in, place was clean, decor was awesome, staff were smiling and friendly. I got the vegan gyro bowl, and it was really good. It was packed with gyro and rice, i actually got lunch and dinner out of it. Sometimes plant based food in general has a weird taste, however, Pita Bowl's was great. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“

“Wow, I made a reservation for 4 for a business lunch and we had the best experience. This place is open and airy with a lot of floor to ceiling glass, it's a bit crowded on the floor to accommodate all of the tables and was empty when we arrived, but was completely full by the time we left. The lunch list is short, but the food was absolutely fantastic. It includes a first course, second course and dessert. We all started with the octopus and I had the Dorado which was the fish of the day. Even the steamed broccoli on the side was fantastic. We ended the meal with Greek yogurt, nuts and honey and cappuccinos all around. So it wasn't a heavy meal, and the dessert wasn't overly sweet. The other option was a walnut cake with ice cream. The service was impeccable, our glasses were filled throughout, and everything came quickly and was set down at the same time, but the service was never disruptive to the conversation, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and agreed that we would host future larger events there at the restaurant. They have a private room upstairs and a basement area downstairs with more room as well. It's also located close to Grand Central Station for anyone traveling into The city. The omelet was perfect - lots of spinach, spiced great, good ratio of egg to other ingredients. The menu said it had dill in it which I love. It was there but I wouldn't have been able to identify it separately if I didn't know that. Not overwhelmingly dill, just nicely spiced. Their feta cheese was outstanding. Not sure if they did something to it or it was just really good quality but it was delicious! Very smooth. We sat in the front which looks out on the street but is fully enclosed.
