“I had gone here for my birthday day before with a small group for dinner.i had been here before last year and have ordered delivery using apps a couple of times. The quality of the food is excellent until now.If you are looking for the genuine Indo Chinese flavors then this is the place to go.Their prices are also reasonable and the service is top notch. They even made a birthday cake for me with gulab jamun which was awesome. The server Arvind is very polite, hospitable and genuine. Also another person but I didn’t get his name but he wears a red vermilion mark on his forehead. My mom is the worst food critic you can meet but she loves the schezwan fried rice n the goat biryani.Definitely recommend to anyone in the Franklin area“

“Fun, casual atmosphere. The music is a bit loud, but not very. I bring headphones when eating alone but I also love the music. The chettinad curry with lamb was great. It's coconut based and pretty thick and fattening, but very good. I got it with butter free roti and it came with rice. The lamb was not too fatty and was very tender - really excellent! Might not get the curry again because it is so fattening with all the coconut milk, or maybe I can just avoid eating all the coconut milk curry and only eat some of it plus the meat. The chicken vepudu is good and interesting. I'm not sure if it comes without dairy by default or if you have to order it special with no dairy. It is a bit hot for me but if I take breaks between eating then it's not too hot. It comes with lightly fried batter, maybe lightly fried onions and other things, and the meat is tender. Would get again.Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free options“

And it is AWESOME!Easy parking, very comfy and easy atmosphere to dine in .. the staff is SO nice, we love them .. and the food is just great. I’m very picky about ingredients and they accommodate me all the way every time. The menu is easy and plentiful and every single dish I’ve had so far is perfect.Plenty for gluten free, which is hard to find.Oh and - the Gulab special may be the best deal around. We LOVE Gulab!!!“

“If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else. The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. It’s made fresh and served hot! Excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed.“

“I’ve had this place on my list for a while now. I loved trying the kebabs and sharab/drinks (virgin for me!). I loved the colonial-era decor with peacocks and carved wood. The appetizer portion sizes could be improved and the bathrooms could’ve been better too but nothing too bad. The food was really good! Here’s what we had:▪️Dahi ke Kebab (yogurt) 9/10▪️Sardarji Machi (Old Delhi fish) 9/10▪️Doori Kebab with Sheermal (goat) 10/10▪️Paneer Shashlik (cheese skewers) 6/10▪️Old Delhi Korma (mutton) 8/10▪️Bangin’ Baingan (eggplant) 7/10▪️Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese) 5/10?Chai raisin cake with rasmalai milk and chai ice cream 6/10?Mango Chutney (mango, pomegranate) 8/10ps> they’re halal and even brought out dates for the whole restaurant for iftaar!? “The service at this restaurant was great! We visited on a weekday night and easily found a parking spot right outside. When we walked in, we were given the option to choose our own table and the staff kindly dimmed the bright lights for a more comfortable atmosphere. Although only two visible workers on duty, they were incredibly kind and patient, despite our longer waiting time for food. Here are some examples of their exceptional service:- Our waiter waited patiently while we took our time to order and even explained the menu to us since we were not familiar with Indian cuisine.- When my dad accidentally spilled water on the floor, a waiter immediately came to clean it up.- The staff checked on us regularly and provided us with clean dishes and utensils after each course/meal.(Also there was a free refill for the rice)Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to others.Dietary restrictions: My sister is gluten free, soy free, dairy free (she can eat yogurt though but she can't have cow's milk), can't have beef, can't have lentils, can't really have fruit, can't have msg, and some other stuff due to an immunity gut cleanse diet thing. This restaurant was able to accommodate her dietary restrictions nicely and she was able to enjoy her meals without worry.“

“Had been looking for an Indian restaurant with actually really good and authentic Indian food (really hard to come by in New York) and the food here did not disappoint. I had the three course menu and the portion sizes were just the right size. Not pictured here was the complimentary amuse bouche they brought at the start which was honestly the highlight of the meal, I could have had 5 more. I didn't quite hear what it was but my friend and I LOVED it. Some kind of bread thing and chai flavored soup? Anyway it was delicious. The shrimp and crab were cooked perfectly and very flavorsome. I wasn't too sold on the desserts or the ambience but overall a great dining experience.“

“I always saw this restaurant walking or driving by and always wanted to go in For apps we got the jalapeno samosa and they were amazing. We also tried the cauliflower bites and this spinach chaat which were amazing. We also got the achari chicken as an app and with the chutneys it was probably the best thing on the menu. For main course we got a butter chicken and a paneer tikka masala and were solid options. Service was good. Everyone was attentive. Kinda small place but loved the decor and the mural on the wall.“

“Ordered takeout:Chicken Biryani4/5. The marinade on the chicken was incredible. Perfectly seasoned and chicken also so tender, well cooked, and well-portioned. The chicken component itself deserves a 5/5. The rice however, also good, but personally, I like when the marinade has merged uniformly, or when the rice has been evenly coated with the saffron water/turmeric or whatever flavor and color blend is used. The rice was also on the greasier side. Therefore for personal preference reasons, the rice was a 3/5 for. The chicken was the star indeed, and the spice level was also magnificent. Hence a 4/5.To note, two other people whose opinions I tryst give the biryani an overall 5/5. So it's still pretty good to say the least.Chicken 65This was a 5/5 dish. Good portion, well-spiced, and very aromatic. Chicken 65 done well. Fabulous.Overall, the flavors presented were great, portions were brilliant, and I'm excited to try other things from here!“

“Some of our dishes were a bit bland, while one was very tasty. We wonder whether they made mild rather than our desired medium spice. That could have been the problem.Server was very good! Atmosphere - cute and cozy place, but the heating unit upstairs was a bit loud when it was on (on & off).“

“So I was invited to give this restaurant a try. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. Walked in and was greeted and sat. The restaurant was very nice. My friend and I were served by a great group of servers and managers. We had a variety of food, but the shrimp and pepper chicken were the best! I enjoyed all the flavors and variety. This restaurant is byob. I truly enjoyed my time and my meal!“

“This place has the best Indian cuisine in town! Definitely worth it. Jami is so helpful and patient when I’m trying to order takeout. Jami and the other staff are always so kind to answer any questions I have about certain dishes and food items. I hope to try the lunch buffet sometime soon— there’s many delicious meals to choose from. I usually order Vegetable Samosas, Paneer Masala with Basmati Rice and Garlic Tandoori Naan. I also love the Mango Lassi and the Masala Chai. Everything is fresh and the service is exceptional. Bengal Spice will always have a special place in my heart for quality comfort food!Vegetarian options: The menu is labeled clearly.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant has made necessary changes if needed to my order to accommodate my dietary needs.Parking: There’s a free parking lot in the plaza.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat here with their families.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheel-chair accessible.“

“I am a fan of Indian food, and Karahi was one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever visited. The food is delicious, the wait times are minimal, and the prices are reasonable for such a central location in Manhattan, near the Theater District. Typically, we don’t dine at the same place twice when traveling, but we made an exception for Karahi because we wanted to taste more items on their menu. I will definitely visit them again next time when I’m in NYC.“

“A Flavorful Experience at Manjal Indian RestaurantI recently dined at Manjal Indian Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the culinary delights it had to offer. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance welcomed us, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. We started our culinary journey with the Chicken Biriyani and King Fish Fry, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The Chicken Biriyani was fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken, while the King Fish Fry boasted a delightful crunch and burst of flavor with every bite. The attentive service further enhanced our experience, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. To top off our meal, we indulged in two cups of Madras coffee, which were nothing short of perfection. Rich, aromatic, and with just the right balance of sweetness, it was the perfect conclusion to our dining experience.Overall, our visit to Manjal Indian Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. With delicious food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a culinary gem that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic Indian dining experience.“

“In the mood for Indian food we saw that Kamal Palace had really good reviews. All in, it was worth the trip. The food was not great but it was good. The samosas were a tad oily and the curries were not as flavorful as I would have hoped. However, the service was great and the price can’t be beat. Seriously, we ordered two apps, two dinner plates, and two orders of naan and it came to about $50!“

“No offense intended. Food is excellent; however I'm not pleased with the convenience fee ($1.50) and carryout fee ($1.50)... what is up with that? So let me get this straight, you're going to charge me $1.50 to pack up an order which, by no option, is carryout because you're not a sit down restaurant? This is on top of the 3.5% credit card surcharge, and taxes. Not cool.Let's finish with the pricing of Bombay's menu. You're seriously getting outta hand with the pricing... pretty soon you'll price every dish in the mid $30 range. It's easy to drop $100 on two people for little in the quantity of food. This is why I decreased my patronage with you; but who cares about one person. Thanks“

The owner was taking the orders, but more than that he gave us the suggestions of the best dishes in the menu, so we did start with aloo papri chaat, veg samosa, lasuni gobi and chilli chicken. The main course chicken mango curry, veggies entree, rosemary naan and peshwari naan. The place is quite comfortable.“

“Ordered via UberEats on a Thursday at around 7. There was a promotion for BOGO free on certain items. So I ordered 2 chicken kadai (each comes with a rice) and 2 egg biryani, and an order of samosas. I've never tried either of the dishes but figured why not? It's BOGO and I can expand my palette on Indian food. I really liked the chicken kadai. The chicken was nice and tender, and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. The egg biryani was just okay - basically just seasoned rice with hard boiled egg. I probably wouldn't get this again. Samosas were pretty standard. The portions are big. We had SO much food that we had to eat this across 4 meals. Needless to say, we were pretty tired of eating it by the end. I probably wouldn't do the BOGO option again, but I would like to dine in and try some other dishes fresh.“

“Mausam is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. It is a small intimate place, which may not get a lot of attention, but the food is terrific and better than almost all of the big fancy places in Northern NJ. I'm glad it's a short drive from my office and home. If you haven't tried it and like Indian food, I strongly recommend paying a visit to Mausam Indian Curry N Bites Restaurant.“

“A personable, high quality and wonderful experience from the minute we walked in. Aditya was taking care of our table and he did a phenomenal job in taking care of all the individual requests pertaining to diet restrictions, choices and requirements. The owner took his time to come to our table and speak with us which was a genuine approach and care for their customers.Talking about food, I was shocked at the quality in a good way. While dal Bukhara is their famous dal, dal fry was not far behind either. It was well cooked and flavorful. The palak chaat is definitely a must try as well. A ton of variety to choose from. Highly recommend booking a reservation before going in because the place is packed especially on weekends.“

“You find great food in unassuming places.Bornali cafe's malai chop sweet is one of the best Bangladeshi mishti I have had in a long time. I am not a fan of overly sweet desserts. Their malai chop has the right combination of sweetness which complements milky syrup it is drenched. Imagine the most delicious chana has a love child with the rasmalai of your dream that is his I would describe the malai chop. I would visit that place again only for that.
