“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

We’ve had the burgers, mac n’ cheese, subs, chickpea toona, empanadas, chili - all delicious! Kurt and company are super nice people and do great work helping Halfway Home Animal Rescue. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

This would be about my fourth time here and this time I was put in the far back with a group of bratty kids and useless adults. I came with my husband on his bday and I can’t understand why they stuck us in a section with like 25 brats who decided they wanted to battle with their plastic toys IN FRONT OF MY VIEW. They should be in their own section and away from couples, friends, or even a family of 4. Any parties or whatever they were should’ve been in their own section it was unpleasant to hear these kids misbehaving and ruining our time. I barely could hear what’s going on or see because most of the time they can’t sit on their butts and the adult near us gave the excuse of “they are 7 years old” like so are my cousins and they arent brats like these. If they are told to sit they dont get right back up in 10 seconds.“
