“I would like to pass along my review on Lefkes. Specifically, the extraordinary "ambassador"--the Lefkes manager--Eva who greeted our party. She greeted our party at the door, made our group feel special while making each individual feel recognized in a sea of humanity of guests. We were celebrating an office birthday party. She greeted each person with an elegance be-fitting of European royalty, with class and style. She ensured we were seated with a wonderful view of the dancing and action, while being able to enjoy our personal space. The food was to die for...she assisted the staff in serving the food and clearing our table to keep our dinner moving. When one of the people in our party requested a frappe, Eva asked one of the servers, "Dimtry" to prepare a classical Frappe. It was rich and creamy...Eva capped off our evening by having birthday pastries brought out with the flaring streamer...a memorable event from a very memorable person! thank you Eva and Lefkes! it became our Greek vacation! “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Excellent food and service, they were understanding when part of our party was late to the reservation due to travel delays and tried their best to accommodate. They even gave me tea and crackers while waiting for my friends! Gratuity is included in the price (like how they do it in Japan) which is surprisingly refreshing and touching for NYC. The value is unbeatable for omakase and definitely a must try if you like sushi and want to try an authentic and quality omakase experience without breaking the bank.“

With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! “We arrived with a reservation and were seated immediately. Our food was very good and prepared as ordered. Prices were vey reasonable and service was pretty good. It was a bit difficult to converse but worth the slight inconvenience. We'll return for the food and prices.“

“Five of us had a party on Saturday evening. The tavern was quite busy which reflected on service (our waiter wasn't present all the time). But I can understand that.
The space itself doesn't look like a typical Greek tavern, but high ceiling, good furniture and an appropriate lighting are definitely worth mentioning.
The food is good, but some portions are too small. For example, Greek salad is very tasty, but the portion is way too small. The same goes for grilled saganaki. In addition, our lamb chops were served well-done, although we asked for medium. On the other hand, our red snapper was great.
Restrooms are too small for a restaurant with this capacity.
The wine list should be MUCH better.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. And the prices are very reasonable to be honest.
However, if I compare the food and portions with some other Greek taverns in Astoria I have to admit there are better options.“

“I never eat chicken breast because they are too dry, but I can say this is the best fried chicken I’ve eaten from a restaurant. Juicy not greasy I wasn’t tired after I ate the meal absolutely delicious!“
