Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. We went to the Chick-fil-A on Fulton Street, when you come in you are greeted in a friendly manner and your order is taken with a tablet. Immediately afterwards you go to the checkout and you get your order and pay for it straight away. .my burger with the lattice potatoes tasted good and I was also very impressed, you get endless sauces, we got 7 different sauces. There were enough seats and there was even a roof terrace.“

“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

“Across the street from the Apollo and busy. 20 people can sit inside. The spice does not make you sweat but it’s a hot feeling! Medium is spicy enough even with 2 packets of honey and special sauce! You can share the slider entree with crinkle fries it’s so filling. Doesn’t come with a drink. The spice is curry-esque, even if you don’t like curry you will like this!“

Also the sweet plantains seem air fried maybe ? Not oily at all?? but the Mac and cheese, the noodles are too soft. I would also recommend that some cheese be sprinkled on the Mac before being heated, add some spices too. The Yuka fries are good. But I will say that my bf said the chicken sandwich was just okay.

I decided to go with the chicken tender 3 piece combo with regular fries and sticky‘a sauce and a coke. The employee who took my order was very personable and warm. I believe her name was Tiana and she offered stellar customer service.

When I first received my meal, I was instantly blown away by the attention to detail due to the elegantly placed specks of parsley, they were most certainly sprinkled with love, passion, blood, sweat, and pure joy. My first bite was of a fry. Now, these are no regular fries like the name suggests…these fries were unbelievably tasty with a burst of flavor I had never experienced in any other restaurant. The chicken tenders were an entirely different story for me to tell.
