Crispy fries, my wife had the spicy monster chicken sandwich, and she said it was amazing. The employees were knowledgeable, they said all the chicken is halal, no halal sign, but the employee said it was. I would ask the owners to advertise it. It would be most helpful to many others looking for halal. Either way, I'd recommend this place.”

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.”

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!”

The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.”

Now the sampler is $27 and the burgers w/ fries are $16. There should be no reason a sandwich (cheesesteak) is $16 and it doesn't come with fries on the side. A plain pizza for $23 is INSANE!! If they lower their prices, this would be a better place to eat at consistently like it was a few years ago.”

I ate almost everything...and I don't feel bad about it! Will visit again, but try to avoid the out of school kids.”

Service is fast and seating area is clean. Also has a small outdoor area right up front. Seems to be a popular spot as there is usually a line the times I have gone but the line moves quickly. Highly recommend for a quick scoop or ready made cake”

“Pretty classic standard pizza it’s not perfect but taste above average the pizza doesn’t flop like a flaccid dick it holds its structure the dough has a good doughy airy texture wile having a crunch to it from the bottom but the crust sometimes is to hard like someone taking the maximum dosage of Tadalafil aka (Cialis) and Sildenafil aka (Viagra); other then that there is a good amount of toppings and flavor profile to the tomato base nice and herby overall 7.8/10”

I've been to so many different acidy sauce "heartburn" pizzerias, throughout the Bergen County area, and I always need Alkaseltzer, after eating their burned sauced foods. It's terrible, how they reheat and overcook their sauce. But, not this one! This place is the best! By far! Absolutely no heartburn! I have tried many menu items, too. I've been frequently going there, over a year now. Their food is more in the lines of what you'd expect to taste at a fine Italian restaurant. Certainly, not a common pizzeria. Pricing is great, too! This place and the staff of employees, along with the new owner and his kids, deserve every bit of (5) stars! The absolute best around!”

And for only two bucks, compared with a mediocre cup I got recently at a high-end place for $5.50. Perhaps they use steamed milk, and froth it?The server on duty when I am there is always pleasant and efficient.Sorry I cannot vouch for any of the other beverage or food items, but there are always people who seem to be heartily enjoying their food whenever I pop in.”

“I'm 67 years old now but when I was 9 years old my mom was a waitress at the Lido. Frank and Ellen were the original owners at the time and I would go to their house and play with their kids. I used to drive the cooks crazy, I'd walk into the kitchen and watch them cook. I used to dance in front of the mirror in the lady's room. I would sit at the bar and bug the bartender for maraschino cherries. Wonderful memories and I'm so glad to see that the Lido is still there serving the same food they did 60 years ago!
