“I had an amazing experience at Chi! As someone who frequently travels to China for business, I can confidently say the food here is incredibly authentic, delicious, and of high quality. Every dish was a delight, bursting with flavor and prepared with care. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and remarkably quick. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a true taste of China! Will definitely be back on my next trip!“

“Was a walk-in on a Saturday night at eight, but this place is huge and we were seated within twenty mins! Noise levels on the lower end, even when the place was busy!
Our order was quickly taken by our friendly server, Jeevan, which included: Ginger Sour String Beans (nice and garlicy), Chicken Lo Mein, Veggie Fried Rice, Cumin Fries, Dry Pot Style (Chicken, and Tofu). Food was in-line with expectations and hit all the right spots! I wish it was a little spicy, and their 10/10 spice level is not that spicy! Excellent Sichuan food though in the UWS neighborhood. Menu slightly on the expensive side;
Will definitely be frequenting this place for their super quick service, and good food!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly 😎“

“Service? Superb. Dan Dan noodles? Mouth watering. Crab Roe Pork Soup Dumplings? I'd slap my mother twice for another bite. And I love my mother. That gin Oolong cocktail? I'd let you slap me twice and call me Sally for another sip. My name is not Sally. Their fish dish in that fancy tray over an open fire? I've never been religious but I found god in the first bite. Will not only go back, but will move in permanently.“

“THE SOUP DUMPLINGS ARE A MUST-HAVE!!! I forgot to take photos because I absolutely devoured them before I got the chance, but they are so flavorful!! Truly the best I’ve ever had. Their shiumai and sliced beef & ox tongue with chili sauce was also very yummy!!! Will definitely come back here, it’s become a new favorite! ??“

“Yesterday, on the Mid-Autumn Festival night, we brought our parents and children to have a meal together. We usually go to Flushing for hot pot, but we didn't expect such a good hot pot so close to LIC. There are many special dishes, all of which taste good. The bell shrimp slider and egg yolk shrimp slider are both good. The medium spicy base is just right. I will try the spiciest one next time.
But what makes me come back is the great service. The person who served our table was Tao, who was very attentive and provided us with soup and vegetables in a timely manner. One time, the soup accidentally spilled. They quickly replaced us with a new pot of soup and replenished various dishes. Before leaving, we were even allowed to taste the homemade soy milk in the store. Not because of these dishes, but because it can be seen from these actions that Tao really cares. He takes care of our family with intention. He hopes that we can eat happily and not be unhappy because of accidents. He only observes such subtle things out of kindness. , the service is so attentive. This kind of service is no longer common in fast-paced hot pot restaurants, and I hope that this original intention can be maintained. Thank you Tao for giving us the opportunity to take our children and parents to enjoy this wonderful experience. We will come back for food soon. I wish you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
In addition, the ladies and gentlemen in all the stores are very friendly. When passing by, they will subconsciously check the table to see if there is anyone who needs service. They will also say hello and say thank you for coming. It feels very friendly, like home away from home.
Thank you for your delicious food and beautiful hearts.
Kid-friendliness: It would be better to prepare some small children's plates instead of plastic boxes“

“I got the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings in chili oil. I thought the soup was decent. I would have preferred it spicer and there wasn't a ton of beef in it. The broth wasn't super rich, but still had decent flavors. One of my favorite things about the soup were the pickled(?) bamboo shoots. It was actually probably my favorite thing in the soup! The dumplings were really good! The chili oil was another star of the meal and I ended up added some into my soup for more spice and flavor.“

“Highly rated restaurant caught my eye, very close to subway and The Guggenheim. Walked over for lunch and loved every minute of this meal. Dee took great care of us. We enjoyed delicious soups, pork dumplings, and two lunch entree portions with brown rice. We had General Tsos chicken and Beef with Scallions. It was so affordable and delicious in a quaint, friendly setting. Trying to figure out how to get back there during this trip. It was delicious.“

“Pig Heaven will always be one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. I am hopeful that more people start going back to eat here. Even with Nancy Lee being gone the food is still amazing. I try something new here each time I go, and am never disappointed. The staff is amazing, friendly, and are extremely helpful. The portion sizes are very large, so they match the price you’re paying as well. Give it a try!!“

“If you’re craving Chinese food, it hits the spot. I don’t think anything was standout but the portions are big because it’s family style. The dan dan noodles could have more meat in comparison to the amount of noodles it had. Some of the other dishes felt doused in a bit too much sauce. What was nice is you can ask to adjust the spice level for the food. Price seems about right and food came out really fast.
Went on a Thursday night and there was plenty of seating with no wait.“

“We found this location searching for places to have lunch, taste was great! The waiter was a little stressed and didn't have much patience when taking our order. It was a very new york style, but other than that place was great, taste awesome, and very quiet“

“Do not sleep on this gem!!!! I wanted to try a local spot while on vacation in NY, and I am so glad I stumbled across this location. The service and staff are amazing, the food is delicious. I loved the small details like the design on the napkin, and I didn't have to wait to be seated. I wish I could have brought the jasmine tea back to my hotel. I will be coming back to this location on my next visit to NY!“

“First of all, Jesse deserves a raise. She’s incredible and has served me, my partner, my mother, father, and friend. This is to Jing Lee management - give her that promotion!!!
Secondly, the food is DELICIOUS. It’s rare that multiple people in my life agree on how tasty the food is. The cumin lamb is spicy and covered in distinct, flavorful spices. The crunch of the seasons green beans and the spicy aftertaste is ?.“

“I visited this place on my trip to New York because I saw it had been awarded a Michelin bib gourmand. The food was amazing and definitely lived up to its reputation. We got the dry chili chicken and ma po tofu. Both were spicy but good. The ma po tofu in particular was very tingly, which was a unique experience.“

“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“

“Truly Sichuan catered a party I had for 30 people. Renee the owner made the planning process completely stressless. We had the soup dumplings (all guests agreed the best we ever had) and the rest of the food was fresh and so yummy! Almost everyone asked me where the restaurant was because it was the best Chinese food they ever had. The food, Renee and the rest of the staff makes this one of the best gems in Bergen county!!“

“The food is good but the delivery fee was kind of pricy. 0.8 mile, $9 delivery fee for $39 food. No receipt attached the delivery lady just told me how much is the total. Kind of surprised by it. Next time I think I’ll just order to go. Lol couldn’t afford the delivery fee plus tip“

“I went in and asked if they could make me sesame beef (which they didn't have on the menu) and without any further conversation the server walked away and then returned a few minutes later with fantastic sesame beef. Really quiet and clean place with lots of seating and nice restrooms. The food was fresh and crispy and the rice was really good too. Nice little oasis if you're hot/cold/tired/hungry and the prices are very reasonable.“

“Hunan Kitchen on Lexington Avenue offers an exceptional dining experience. The seating arrangement is excellent, ensuring comfort during your meal. The staff goes above and beyond, displaying friendliness and thoughtfulness throughout your visit. Today, I savored their sliced fish paired with white rice and sweet and sour soup from the lunch menu—a delightful combination of flavors. The dishes are consistently served piping hot and beautifully plated, adding to the overall enjoyment. On occasion, I indulge in combining two lunch specials, finding the ox tongue particularly delicious and refreshing when served cold. Overall, Hunan Kitchen is truly amazing, delivering outstanding cuisine alongside top-notch service, making it a must-visit destination for any food enthusiast.“

“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“
