“Han Dynasty is one of my go-to restaurants for quality Chinese food in NYC. It is not a hole-in-the-wall establishment like many of the other Chinese restaurants in the city (not that there’s anything wrong with that). The space is large and comfortable, and the food is consistently delicious with very good drink options. The price point is also reasonable considering the location. I like how the menu specifies the spice level of each dish on a scale of 1-10, although I find the calibration to be more American rather than Szechuan spice levels, no surprise. But if you need a real hit just ask for an 11 and the chef will deliver.“

“Best Szechuan restaurant in New York, hands down. The food was outstanding—bold, authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and every dish was packed with spice and depth. What made the experience even better was Andy, our waiter. He was friendly, attentive, fast, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend.“

“Hands down probably the best Chinese food in the city. I could eat here everyday.“
“Everything was super delicious! 5 star for the food! We tried the mapo tofu, Lao Gan Ma chicken, fried prawn with crispy chili, and the la zi ji. We absolutely loved everything, so flavorful and satisfying. Super recommended! We will definitely be back to try the Peking duck next time!“

“Good food and a nice atmosphere. I do wish the Szechuan food was a little more spicy, but the dishes we got, like Shrimp with silken tofu, Szechuan fish fillet with tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and Green Beans was very good. Prices are a little high and portions were small compared to Flushing, but the difference was not extravagant, and for three people we were able to be full for about $90 pre-tip, which is respectable.“

The space is charming yet refined, ideal for an intimate date night or an elegant family gathering. Service was warm, polished, and attentive throughout. !“

“Places like this barely exist in Midtown anymore. Land of Plenty feels like a true neighborhood spot. The restaurant is modern and clean and the Chinese food is absolutely delicious.
We showed up with a group of ten and they were able to accommodate us without any issue. The service was fun, friendly, and attentive the entire night. The bar also looked like a great place to hang out.“

“I highly recommend their famous pork spicy appetizer. It was our 4th times in this place. I would say their meat is high quality because you can tell from the flavor itself. This is our couples favorite Sichuan place. Tonight, we tried SeaBass Mala it was delicious but too spicy but we’ve finish it 😄😛😋“

“I got the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings in chili oil. I thought the soup was decent. I would have preferred it spicer and there wasn't a ton of beef in it. The broth wasn't super rich, but still had decent flavors. One of my favorite things about the soup were the pickled(?) bamboo shoots. It was actually probably my favorite thing in the soup! The dumplings were really good! The chili oil was another star of the meal and I ended up added some into my soup for more spice and flavor.“

“the staff here is super friendly and nice don't get me wrong, the food here is also super good but i'm just salty at the fact that they only have AYCE after 9pm and every other time of the day they only do a la carte, other than that their opening hours are kind of short too“

“The food here is phenomenal! I wish we'd taken photos but we stumbled into this place while escaping the rain and were surprised (and a little cautious) after finding it empty (it was a weekday lunch in a more residential area, though 10 mins walk from The MET). I had the best scallion pancakes here and our group got homestyle beancurd and a chicken dish (I think it was general tso). Everything was perfect and quite reasonable for the area! I'd say this place is a must visit!!“

“Haven’t come here in a while. I ordered fried meat dumplings and soup dumplings to start my dinner. The dried dumplings came suspiciously fast, and I was right. They were precooked and kept heated. The dumpling itself was nice. The flavor was nice. It was the texture that was a bit off. The bottom was burnt but not crispy enough. A few of them were broken and the filling was visible.
The soup dumplings were okay. It was steaming hot. The wrapping was nicely done, but just a bit too thick to my liking. The flavors inside were a little bland. I didn’t like it with soy sauce, so I asked for vinegar, and it immediately made it better.
For main course, I got an orange beef. It was cooked very nicely. The beef was cut into bite size, and fried until they were golden and crispy. However, a few pieces were quite tough and hard to chew. The steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly! It was green and crunchy. It paired well with the dish. The rice was okay.
Overall, it was a nice meal. A little more expensive than I remembered, and the food quality was a little not as good as I remembered.“

“Incredible above and beyond authentic and luxury Chinese cuisine in the heart of Long Island City. Our server Tony was a master of ceremony with being able to keep our dining experience seamless and so enjoyable on Chinese New Year eve. The food was so delicious, so flavorful and huge portions. The pre-fixe is a fantastic deal. Jing Li restaurant is a gem!!!“

“Such a staple. Especially for Szchzean fix.
Hot& sour soup, mapo tofu, fried rice can't go wrong.
Did have shots of namesake Wu Liang Ye now priced $20. Chaser Tsingtao of course. Deadly night drinking much water afterwards. But, when seldom comes, why not splurge.“

“We stopped by Dim Sum Chelsea on a cold and wet day to get a snack and take a break after a lot of walking around. The restaurant was fairly slow and service was very attentive and friendly. We just wanted a nibble so we only tried the Lotus Rice and the Crab and Spinach dumplings paired with a shared bottle of hot sake. The food was hot and flavorful, the crab and spinach dumplings were juicy but my favorite was the lotus rice that was stuffed with a seasoned meat mixture. I only recently discovered this dish and now its a favorite! I would love to come back to try more dumplings if I'm ever back in the area.“

“Come for the food, you won’t regret it. Sichuan food at its finest, this is not your typical American style Chinese food. Parking is difficult but there’s street parking nearby. Haven’t had Sichuan food this good outside of Flushing, Queens. Mapo Tofu, lamb cumin, and cold tripe/meat appetizer are 🔝⭐️“

“Truly Sichuan catered a party I had for 30 people. Renee the owner made the planning process completely stressless. We had the soup dumplings (all guests agreed the best we ever had) and the rest of the food was fresh and so yummy! Almost everyone asked me where the restaurant was because it was the best Chinese food they ever had. The food, Renee and the rest of the staff makes this one of the best gems in Bergen county!!“

“they might be the most efficient restaurant when it comes to order-to-pick up time. they say 10min but you can show up in 5min, boom food is there. also you pick up with the least words exchanged. and most importantly, great food. would recommend 110%.“

“If you are looking for a fancy dining experience, this is not the place, but if you want exceptional Chinese food, you've hit the jackpot. Think of Chinatown, not Ridgewood. Prepared from scratch, not quick, but with a touch of love. This tiny establishment has the standard fare and some twists on the originals that will make your taste buds dance. Pork dumplings become Mom's Dumplings with the insertion of a giant shrimp and an amazing homemade dipping sauce. Mangos are often added to many dishes for a change of flavor. Not spicy enough, ask Sherry to give it a boost, or the opposite, tamp it down a bit. Have you ever had lamb Chinese style? or one of many other specialties. The place has gotten a bad wrap from impatient patrons. Good food takes time to prepare, and fresh ingredients are not cheap. When we have company from out of the area, this is their requested restaurant. We have ordered food for one up to a catered meal for 100, always delish.“

“I’m a regular here (at least twice a month!) and love this place. The mala hot pot is always flavorful, and the sweet and sour pork is so good — I order it almost every time.
FYI: if you order the sweet and sour pork, give them a little extra time since it’s made fresh. Definitely one of my go-to spots!“

“When I came in from the outside I thought it looked like 1 of those sketchy places you see in a strip mall on the highway. When I sat down I was happy too see that the waitress came quickly and efficiently brought the food out quickly aswell. I ordered the chicken fried rice and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend going here on a date. The only thing keeping this place from a 5 is there above average prices.“

“I’m from this area and moved to Miami, which has no Szechuan Chinese. On a trip back to NYC, we went to China River based on location and reviews and it was TERRIFIC. If you are from NY or North Jersey, you know what to expect — spicy shredded beef, scallion pancakes, even delish basics like chicken and broccoli. Everything was exactly as it should be. We went back a second time before heading to JFK for the flight back to Florida.“

“After living in NYC for 42 years I can honestly say this restaurant is the best. I always have such a pleasant experience on the phone when ordering takeout. The person is always so warm and sweet. The food arrives fairly quick and the food is always good. I’ve had Chinese restaurants where they yell on the phone and are so rude. Not this place. When the people are so nice, it makes you want to only buy from them and support their business. Highly recommend!“

“I really enjoyed a lot about this place as it’s a clean and peaceful environment, the staff was pretty nice, and the food was absolutely tasty! I was stunned though that I had to pay a bit extra than expected for using an ATM card, but at least it wasn’t too expensive. I’m only around this area occasionally, but sometimes if I have the budget and craving Chinese food I come here and I could recommend this place for many others.“

“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“
