“Lunch service was nice. However my brother ordered a Paella and there was hardly any rice in it. Given the fact the waiter insisted it would feed 3 I'm glad he ordered his solo cause it was barely enough for him. I ordered a chicken breast and chorizo lunch special. It was good. Aside from the spicy flavors it was great. The service was fantastic. It's no wonder they've been around for a long time. My brother recommended this place since he's been coming here a long time. I'm definitely opened to give it another try.“

They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! But my fav.. that rice. Hands down the best rice I’ve had in a long time! A def must try!“

After getting a great window seat, my Sis jokingly said, "How romantic, too bad I'm here with my brother". Our gorgeous server Michelle was spectacular. She made multiple trips to the bar to find 'just the right wine' for my sister's particular taste and made two special requests to the kitchen on our behalf. Michelle's calming presence and 'in the moment' attitude made us feel very special. Being an intellectual herself, Michelle engaged with us most excellently in conversation. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The atmosphere was great, the music was a little too LOUD especially for some young children in my party and we the adults and young people we couldn’t hear each other speaking and my suggestion is to have the music at a moderate tone so we can hear each other at the table and also to make sure the waitress/waiter get the food order correct .
