“I really love parlour room. The bar is so cool. When you walk in it has a cool vibe like old New York. I like the bottle display and they have a shaker machine that super shakes the cocktails. So fun: the bartender said it’s the only one in nyc. I love the cocktails and i definitely come here when we see a show or after dinner drinks, but the food here is good too! Then we pop over to bo peep the speak easy next door“

“phenomenal experience, so much delicious food & a beautiful mix of flavours - highly recommend. A lot better than a lot of other 3 star restaurants I’ve been to! Everything is unique and watching the chefs at the counter is an amazing experience.“

“Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. Bodai in Midtown Manhattan offers a rare and memorable dining experience. The restaurant blends Buddhist philosophy with royal vegetarian cuisine inspired by the Qing Palace. It was my first time trying a full vegetarian tasting menu, and I was impressed by how flavorful and creative every dish was. The mushroom dishes stood out the most, especially the Stichotas japonicus with cucumber sauce, the pan-seared boletus with green millet, and the Nepal mushroom quinoa with pepper sauce. Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. If you’re looking for an elevated vegetarian meal in NYC, this is worth a visit.“

“Cafe Carmellini doesn’t serve dinner — it stages it. The space feels like if old New York and Paris had a perfectly dressed baby. Every detail is choreographed, but it never feels stiff.
Started with the zucchini flowers lobster and artichoke Provençal — light, layered, and borderline poetic. The duck, duck, duck tortellini? A playful name hiding serious precision — pure Carmellini flex.
Then the squab en cocotte landed like a mic drop — perfectly cooked, rich but composed, the kind of dish that makes you remember why New York is still the best food city on Earth.
Closed it out with the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate ganache — pure indulgence, no regrets.
Verdict: 9.6/10.
Cafe Carmellini is what happens when craftsmanship meets confidence. Every bite says, we know exactly what we’re doing.“

“The food was on point, the snow crab and Hamachi were my favorite. The lamb chops and chicken w Porridge were also super delicious. The octopus and deviled eggs would be the third on the recommendation list.
I could pass on the Quail and Beignet Ice cream. Not bad for sure.“

“The food and service at HAGS was flawless. The various dishes were delicious and creative. There was perfect timing between the courses. Everything was done with genuine love.
It’s obvious that a tremendous amount of thought and care went into everything — from the menu — to the decor — to the service.
There’s an amazing vegan and omnivore menu. The vegan cheeses and butters are made in-house — and taste incredible.
The kitchen staff accommodated my dietary restrictions — and added a creative flair.
It’s a really cute, queer-owned restaurant. It’s a tiny spot — but everything is very well organized. Everyone feels welcomed, with the full complexity of their identities.
HAGS was perfect in every way. I highly recommend it. 5/5 stars.“

“WOW WOW WOW!!!!
I can talk about the food and drinks all I want, that said it was really our server Bennett who made our night a memorable one. His authentic and charismatic personality truly shined, we felt we had another friend with us rather than a server. Extremely attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and FUNNY!!!!!
Now to the other highlight of our night, MARCEL this man is out of this world, funny, smart, caring!!
Lowkey want to be best friends with these guys, top notch hospitality! Thank you for going above and beyond 10000/10 stars“

“This was my first time trying omakase in New York, and I went alone — but the experience couldn’t have been better. From the beginning, the staff made sure to ask about any allergies or dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, and the service was incredibly attentive and kind without being overbearing. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully explained. I felt completely taken care of the whole time.
Also, I was honestly surprised by how reasonably priced the wine and sake were — definitely not what I expected in NYC.
Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a welcoming and high-quality omakase experience.“

“We had an absolutely wonderful meal on Thanksgiving. We ordered the usual turkey dinner and it was was scrumptious. I believe the new chef owner brings the experience to whole other level. We loved it. We are going back Christmas Eve! I do have to say I was disappointed a restaurant of this level and price point charges a 3% credit card fee. This is a first for us as we frequent comparable fine dining restaurants and we were never charged a fee. Food for thought.“

“My first time here and not gonna be the last!! Everything was amazing and “ABBY” takes it to the next level. I enjoyed every single bite from the beginning to the end. Will definitely be coming back here again and again to explore the rest of the menu. 100 out of 10 for me.“

“EMP has been on my bucket list for a long time. When I found out they were featuring meat courses again, I was ecstatic because we happen to be in town. I was lucky enough to grab one of their bar tasting menu reservations. We’ve had the privilege to dine at many Worlds Best and Michelin starred restaurants around the world, so I had extremely high hopes.
The courses were good, but nothing really wowed me. I wish they offered less vegan courses. Since we do not drink alcohol, I was surprised to see a non-alcoholic wine pairing. I opted for it ($135) bc I was intrigued, but I would not get it again. The white pairings were delicious, but the red pairings all tasted sour and left a bad aftertaste. I only had a sip. Service was exceptional, I did not expect anything less. For the price, I would rather go to Per Se or Le Bernardin.“

“Wonderful New Year's Eve! Thank you so much. From the food to the service everything was amazing. We were late about 45 min for our reservation and there was no problem with seating us. We really appreciate it. We had amazing time as always. This was our 3 rd year spending the New Year's Eve at Milos Hudson Yards.“

“I haven't been there in quite a while and it was so great to see that everything is still FABULOUS there ... from the warm greetings you get when you walk in, to the wonderful atmosphere as you enter the dining room, to the quiet pleasantness of the servers, to the absolutely most delicious food! I certainly won't stay away so long next time!“

“The food here hits on every course so you’ll always be pleased. Service is on its best game and you definitely leave feeling like you were engaged with a completely premium experience. My only gripe is that they offer many supplements (that are not cheap) and they present them to you in stages so you always feel like you’re being upsold. I’d much rather pay a known fee early and just enjoy the rest of my experience.“

“Great experience. Presentation 4/5. Server quality varied, some were great at presenting the dishes for the tasting menu, but some were not event intellible. Just saying, each dish had such a rich background and it would be great that we could catch call. Special thanks to Alex for the night!“

My husband had the filet and mashed potatoes and they were also divine. Cooked exactly like he enjoys his steak. Friendly staff, quiet setting. Perfect for a romantic date night.“

“Un très bon restaurant japonais avec des produits frais. Personnel en tenu typique, je le recommande !“
“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant since it opened and we finally made it. We looked at the chef's tasting but didn't like the lack of choices so decided to go on Sunday for the a la carte. The space is lovely and cozy. They had a nice table for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We brought a nice bottle of wine and started with the beets and the salsify. The beets were super smokey which was fine but after a couple of bites it was very overwhelming as it took over so the other flavors. The salad needed more seasoning as well as some citrus. The salsify was very well done and it was delicious! My husband ordered the cod which was good but spectacular and I ordered the duck which was quite underwhelming. It needed seasoning and the fat wasn't rendered as well so the skin wasn't very crispy. Considering the prices, I would have expected more. We didn't bother with dessert.“

“Great Middle Eastern restaurant! All food that we ordered was delicious and tasty! From the outside it was okay but when you taste their food then you will change your mind! Location: It is located on second avenue, the interior is nice with a nice bar in the side. The outdoor seating is better, cause it is spacious and more safer and comfortable. Service: The servers are nice, they gave you good recommendations. A little bit busy as usual, but they try their best to accommodate! Also, they gave us free shots because we get along with the servers. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, small servings tho but the taste of the food was good! FALAFEL PLATTER: omg the hummus that comes with it are so good! Silky and perfect with the falafel and pita that comes with it. It is good for sharing or even by yourself! BURATTA: the cheese is soft and delicious. It comes with bacon or ham? I'm not sure but it tastes good with the burrata. CALAMARI: we were sad when it came cause we thought it was fried but man it was so good, it was grilled and it taste like a ceviche. EGGPLANT SCHNITZEL: the fried eggplant is so good and not over fried so the softness of the eggplant was retained. FROZEN PASSION FRUIT DAQUIRI: omg it was so good and refreshing, but hits you at the end! LOL Price rating: 8/10, it was not that bad for the price. The food was great. Will definitely come back here if I pass by second avenue and if I crave for good hummus and that passion fruit daiquiri! LOL“
“Parking is horrible in this area so be prepared to spend some time looking for parking. It took us 30-45 mins to get parking.
Even the parking lot across the street was full.
Parking enforcement is constantly patrolling the area and in the parking lot.
Although the music was very loud, I loved the music they were playing. Old school salsa, cumbia and merengue.
There was a live DJ playing in the back.
In the front by the entrance where we were was the bar.
We were on a hightop table which personally, I do not like since I’m short.
The waitress did not stop to check on us and had to flag her so we could pay the bill and leave.“

“My husband and I asked for well done fries and instead they were barely warm and soggy. My cousins waffle wasn't even warm. Totally disappointed. We all drove an hour to meet there. I've gone there for over 20 years and this will be the last time.“
