“It is a cool, laid back atmosphere. On Fridays before 7Pm, the curtains are open and the together is flowing in to experience the beauty of the space. After 7pm is when they close the curtains and make a really lovely jazz club vibe with low lights and warm lighting from beautiful lamps. There us a DJ that plays at 8:00PM and the music is super jazzy but at about 9pm, he started playing some really good club/jazzy music. Really good, not too loud! The bartenders/servers are the most sweetest , kindest people and they are super knowledgeable regarding the wines and spirits selections. Shout out to EP! She's the best and she should get a HUGE RAISE or Manager (if she's not already)! Sis KNOWS what she is doing and a beautiful soul to boot. The small plates is pleasantly deliciously for what they offer. We had this fig jam, beef, arugula and cheese paying on their famous rosemary focaccia bread. It wa sacconpanied by with THE MOST TASTIEST truffle chips! My goodness! The Friday before last, I had the Bread and Butter. It came with the famous rosemary focaccia bread and this AMAZING compound butter that was paprika and rosemary infused. Their Happy hour menu is pretty good and the prices are very decent. However, well after Happy hour is over, they are still decent because when they are pouring top shelf-top tier, they are pouring. Happy hour is 4pm - 7pm. The drinks are always delicious and so is the wine. They will give you a mini wine tasting if you are just wanting to see what you might enjoy. There is a ton of cool seating but both times I was there I sat at the bar and I think that will always be my choice. The bar stools are more so open right after work between 5pm and 6ishPM. Overall. I will keep returning to Consigliere for the experience. The fact that it is around the corner from my job and I can unwind after work is a plus. But even if I didn't, I'd always choose to go there for a quick glass OR NOT for a quick glass, a few LOL.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“As someone who grew up in and loves Metuchen deeply, I can officially add Terzo to one of the most memorable places of one of my favorite towns. Came here to have dinner and introduce my parents to my boyfriend’s parents, a very special occasion for us. At no point did we feel rushed throughout our experience which I appreciate a lot since we were there from 6-9pm on a Wednesday night.
The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for any special occasion or date night. Everyone was raving about the food the entire time!
For appetizers we got the peach burrata salad, wagyu meatballs (our favorite!), and the calamari (second favorite!!). For dinner we loved the cacio de pepe and chicken parm. The crab risotto was a top contender too. Oh my, the portions are so big so be ready to take some home! For dessert we had the apple pie cannolis and coffee. Sangria was yummy but in a smaller pitcher than we normally see, so get two if you have a bigger group! I wish I took some pictures of our food but we were having too good of a time to actually think about it!

“A great winery. We ended up tasting around 10 different bottles, and everything we tried was excellent. The reception was incredibly warm and welcoming. The blackberry fruit wine was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and a great wine experience.“

“This is a cool Georgian restaurant in Newark, NJ. I stopped by randomly after shopping for an event. I tried Adjaruli Khachapuri for the first time in my life. It was pretty interesting in how it was prepared but it was tasty. I also had the creamy garlic chicken and some wine. Great for a solo lunch date or just because.“

“My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. “Food was decent and we had great table service from the bartender that was there when we were in for lunch between 11:30 and 1 PM on a Tuesday . The negative is the 4% credit card surcharge. Firstly, I don’t like that surcharge and secondly, I have not seen establishments charge 4% so that seemed excessive.“
