“Little hole-in-the-wall place with a ton of character and good food. The owner was super friendly and accommodating (let me order a breakfast sandwich after breakfast hours). We chatted while our order was made and it made for a nice personal experience. We felt valued although we were "just tourists".

When I mixed up my order, and realized that I didnt need pickles, they gladly took them off. I will definitely be returning to this place. “The homemade mozzarella was delicious! The sandwich we ordered was loaded with delicious, freshly sliced cold cut meats. The were several topping offerings and the peppers were delicious. The bread was soft, yet chewy and held up to the sauces, oils and vinegar. This is a definite stop for an original, genuine Italian sandwich. The homemade bottled sodas were delicious. You must know there is nowhere to sit. This is a togo only establishment. While the service was helpful it was not overly friendly or didn’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome, even though we shared it was our first time. Again, still worth it to enjoy this amazing sandwich.“

We were very pleasantly surprised. There’s almost no room for seating, and it’s very cramped, but the staff are all very kind and they make sandwiches fast. All of their options sounded good, and I was honestly conflicted. But, I’m happy with what I chose. Everyone was very familiar with each other, and it was just a welcoming place. The speed and convenience ended up being exactly what we needed.“

The sandwiches were very fresh including the vegetables inside. The atmosphere inside it was great, there were many nice posters along the walls and it is in general very clean on the tables. It's usually quiet inside and I would recommend eating there even though you can definitely take your sandwich outside as it is comfortable to eat it on-the-go. When I went, my friend was vegetarian and it was a great experience for him as the workers were very accommodating to his dietary needs. A+ for that!

CONS: The sandwiches did get a little soggy after a few minutes, however it was fine as you can eat it pretty quickly. While sitting outside is sometimes available, it doesn't feel right. There are very few chairs and it feels a bit out of place. Perhaps if they added more chairs and maybe some umbrellas it would be a lot more comfortable to eat outside.“

“Trying a locsl sandwich shop is always on my list. This one was eassy peasy. Walk in, place your order at the kiosk and food wass ready in minutes. Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese and fries made in peanut oil were delicious. Husband said Bacon Cheeseburger was better than train cheeseburger. He's a man of few words that knows what he likes.

“I would bring a bus group from the Detroit area every year before the pandemic for tours in the New York area.
I would have to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different choices.
Our bus wouldn't arrive to our hotel until after 8:00 pm
(after your normal business hours)
Upon our arrival, someone would deliver our lunches that evening for the next day.
I have always appreciated the extra mile that they went for our bus group.
The sandwiches were always delicious.
