“They knew who I was as soon as I walked in. They got the order right. The young gentleman that put my subs together gave me extra napkins, menus, and plastic. He was just so friendly and kind. The sandwiches were huge! We had to save one for the next day.

Parking: Parking is right there..you can pull right up to the door..there was no congestion..easy in and out.“

“Due to a gluten intolerance, I’ve been on the hunt for places that carry gluten free bread when I’m on the go. Jersey Mike’s does and I was very happy with the service they provided. Since I don’t have celiac, I can handle a bit of cross contamination. However, the person making my sandwich asked if it was preference or allergy/celiac. He informed me that if it was allergy or celiac, he would pull out a new cutting board designated for this, new knives and gluten free designated foods. Like I said, since I can handle cross contamination, I was OK without the extra steps. It was refreshing to see that a quick on the go spot would have been able to make these accommodations. I sincerely appreciate the thought of the staff that day, and the ask.

“Faicco's is like stepping into Satriale’s come to life (minus the extracurricular activities). The chicken parm hero is a mammoth sandwich packed with thinly pounded cutlets and melty cheese, all nestled in a soft, firm hero roll.

Be warned, the sandwich comes out scorching hot, and stays that way in the packaging (I traveled 20 minutes with mine before eating). So definitely let it cool a bit beforehand, and you could even split two servings considering the massive portion size.

While it's on the pricier side, the quality and quantity make it a solid value. If you're after an authentic Italian-American sandwich, Faicco's is your spot.“

“I am a visitor from Australia ?? ? and we decided to make a special trip to the very well-known Fiore's House of Quality in Hoboken. Had to line up, they are very busy and the choices are amazing. Check the advertising for the choices they have on different days. The sandwitches. rolls and breadsticks - filled with the famous fresh made Morzarella and the different tasty meats are amazing. You can't eat them there - you have to take them with you - there is a very nice Park near by - there you can have a culinary feast. It's definitely worth a trip.“

“I live out of state haven't had a great NY bagel it lived up to my expectations and the salmon and cream cheese but when I went to pay I fell over w the price of $19.00 !! The inflation is crazy. The guy on the line ahead of me bought only 6 bagels on tub of cream cheese and the bill was $32.00!!! So yes delicious yes tasty but only if you want to break the bank.

Vegetarian options: It's disturbing how much food cost today.

“Stopped in 90min before closing, around 5pm. First off, everything on the menu sounded really good and my wife were kind of torn... The owner literally immediately engaged us and was like "tell me what you're feelin?" - this gentleman steered us to sandwich paradise ?

We decided to split a large classic Italian sub with a couple changes and ended up with a 12" sub (but I'd bet someone it was more like 14") with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Added lettuce/tom/oil/vinegar/mayo with salt n pepper and some oregano. The cost was $17.05 ($8.50 all in with tax each if splitting) and this bad boy was plenty for the two of us!

They *only* use Boars Head meats/cheeses and let me tell you, it absolutely SHOWED!! High quality ingredients result in a high quality product and this was no exception! It was the absolute best f***ing sandwich either of us have had in a long time! This guy was a true artisan and master of his craft!

Stop in and get an Italian sub and I promise that not only will you not be disappointed but you'll be amazed and enjoy the best sandwich you've had in recent memory!

We plan on going back again real soon to try the Philly cheese steak, get another Italian sub and try the Mac salad which also looked amazing. Will update this review or post another one when we do!

EDIT: Went back the following morning and got a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. ????

EDIT 3: 11/1/2024 - New special on Friday called " Philly Cheesesteak Fridays" - $5 for a cheesesteak and $7.50 for cheesesteak with fries and a soda! Just picked up 2 of them for me and the Mrs.! Guess what? AWESOME AS USUAL AND LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!“

Opted for the avocado toast & a side of fries & it didn’t disappoint. Was filling without being too heavy & very tasty! The fries were also not oily or greasy. Browsing the menu you’ll find alot of different flavors & combos…and the manager also shared that all the cutlet options can be created with an eggplant substitute! Definitely give this place a try. The vibe is chill & artsy, lots of seating, great central location & 3 parking lots within a 5 min walk. You definitely won’t regret it :)“

Every day I walk by Lil' Frankie's Grocery and Katz, on one hand I am disgusted that Katz has a longer line than Frankie's, on the other hand I am thankful I can get the best sandwich in NYC with ease. The sandwich menu itself is a comprehensive set of finely tuned sandwiches. Each is unique, delicious, and composed of extremely complimentary ingredients that most 1 star MICHELIN restaurants in NYC fail to achieve. (I've been to many)
