“Mrs. Bae and her team at Garden kitchen are the absolute best around. My wife and I stop by the store every chance we get to pick up their delicious food to-go. Some of our favorites are their yubuchobap, spicy pork, braised beef short ribs, and all of their soups/stews.

In fact, we enjoyed the food so much that we asked them to cater our wedding! Having grown up in Korea, I knew that I wanted Korean food that reminded me of home for my wedding, and boy did they deliver. Mrs. Bae drafted up a menu of Garden Kitchen is unique in that they not only have incredibly delicious food, but also a team of deeply caring staff. They took such great care of us and went above and beyond to make our wedding special.

Highly recommend to anyone looking to cater an event or looking for authentic Korean food made with love.“

When I arrive to pick up my order, the store is so welcoming, immaculate, and bright! EJ is always there with a warm hello and a smile with my order packed and ready to go - I’ve never had to wait! “Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.“

With so many incredible flavors to choose from, we always go for the half & half option. Our favorites are the "Soy Garlic" that is sweet and savory(my son's fav) and "Cheesling(my fav)"!! coated with a light dusting of cheesy goodness that melts in your mouth.

If you're a fan of loaded fries, you need to try the Cheesling Fries. They' are topped with the same delicious cheese powder as the chicken, and when you drizzle their secret sauce on top...omg..this combination is so addictive! ?You will find it hard to stop eating. Must try!!“

“This was a pretty nice spot for a quick dinner of authentic Korean food. The atmosphere is very homey and the service is friendly. The options are a bit limited and several things on the menu weren't available when we went, but the noodles we did have were pretty good“

“I’m blown away! I placed an uber eats pickup order.
This chicken is better than I expected. I ordered the garlic soy wings with blue cheese for dip on the side.
The wings are fried to a perfect crisp on the outside of full of garlic soy flavor. The chicken itself is juicy and meaty.
My dog enviously watched me eat my meal. I was expecting to finish the whole container on my own but I was able to finish 5.
I plan to order again soon.

Parking: There is a limited amount of spaces in the street around the corner and in the back.“

“Home of arguably the best wings on planet Earth… and this is coming from a wing snob. The wings are consistently a general size, and always incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.“

“Happy to be able to walk in and get seating on a Saturday night. Food was overall good. The place makes their own tofu and I loved the one that comes with their basic appetizers.

The service was a bit lacking. We had a bit of back and forth with the staff on small things that I feel like detracted from our experience.“

“I ordered something today and it came incomplete when I called the restaurant and told them about it, and they immediately sent me what was missing and something else. And that was very nice of them, I'm glad they treat their customers in this beautiful way and the food is excellent.“

“Located inside the food court of the HMart in Little Ferry, this establishment recently opened in March at the former site of Menya Sandaime, where I came for lunch as a first-timer. Katsune Donkatsu features different katsus (panko-breaded meats). Most of them are variants on pork, though they offered chicken and shrimp as well. Greeted by the staff, I decided on their Katsune Donkatsu (deep-fried pork accompanied by salad, pickled onions, and rice). Perfectly cooked all the way through, as all pork should be with no fat, and fried outside in definitely fresh oil to look and taste. This was home-made bread crumbs (panko) done to perfection with fresh ingredients. It was so crispy, juicy, delicious, and not greasy. I was impressed by the quality of the food. The price was very reasonable, as the order was enough for two meals. The staff was very friendly and served promptly. I can recommend this place.“

There is delicious Korean chicken close to my house, so I think I can eat it more often^^

Parking: There are several shopping malls gathered together and there is a shared parking lot, so parking is convenient!“

It’s half the price and double the flavor with the same amount of shrimp compared to most restaurants. Went twice this week to order it. YUM!! The shrimp fried rice is on point too. “I was looking for a quick vegan meal while in town and was impressed to see a Korean inspired place with a chipotle style model of service. I got purple rice, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, fresh tofu, and the classic sauce. It was a tasty, quick option. The side of seaweed salad was just Ok. Kimchi was good.“

Would most likely come here for the street food tho cuz you can get the others at other places for wayyy better

Here’s what we got:
- combo E with the galbi and side of tofu soup 3.5/5: the price to portion ratio was a little disappointing because it looks similar to the BCD combo but for less and taste 100% better from galbi to tofu soup

- combo C with the fried chicken that comes with the side of cream spaghetti and fried rice 5/5: hands down reco getting this!! The chicken was tender and the portion was soooo generous

- gamjatang 2/5: so we asked the waitress what she would reco, either the gamjatang or kimchi fried rice and she said this over that so we decided to try it since it’s on the limited time menu and the portion size is indeed very generous but the soup was very disappointing, the broth was also mediocre. For Gamjatang we love “to sokchon” or “busan gukbap”

- tuna kimbap 3/5: portion size was amazing for this but not a big fan of the tuna and could be more spicy

We would come back to try the other street food items like the jjambong and fried rice tho!“
