It was either the owner or restaurant manager that reached out to me and immediately offered solution to the tips situation that I described below. I’m very thankful That they reached out and resolved the issue.

Not what it used to be. I’ve been going to Aumm Aumm since they opened the first location in Gutenberg and I have always said the englewood location is just not the same. I have been here a few times and while it’s a very pretty place, the food is just inever as good as Guttenburg and even Guttenberg has been hit or miss over the years. I went last night with my family, not only was the service awful, they already included the tip for a party of five. Our very rude waiter, never even bothered to tell us that the tip was included. My husband paid the check. I only asked him the total and thought the amount seemed kind of high for what we ate. when I looked at the check when I got home, I realized the tip had already been included. So the very rude waiter thinks he is deserving of a 40% tip Never bothering to tell us it was included and he walked away with 84.00 tip on a 200.00 check? In general, the food was not great and definitely not as good as it used to be. It’s such a shame because this truly was one of the more authentic Italian places .“

“A great Korean fusion bar in the neighborhood that's passionate about good food!
I had a buddy over from Michigan who did not mind the snow, so with wife, we went to eat through snow BLIZZARD to JJ Dak Sunday evening as they were open. Inside was chic and cozy as I expected, and we were led to a rather smallish dining room on the side of first floor. Center area was for the bar. I've wanted to try JJ Dak for a while now, so we ordered up w/ pleasant server who explained the menu for us.
I. ATMOSPHERE (4/5) - Great vibe! Dimly lit with thoughtful biergarten style decorations galore, it felt warm, cozy yet stylish. Good for dates & drinks with buddies.
II. FOOD (4/5)
Squid Fries ($14, APP, 5/5) - Hands down the best food of the visit. Fresh squid w/ full flavor in light seasoned batter with mouthwatering ponzu mayo dip. Say whaaat? Wonderful with beer. We wanted to order one more if not for entree coming!
Fried Oysters ($??, APP, 3/5) - It was a special item, but unfortunately this was nothing special. Shouldn't have ordered, as it was prob to get rid of fresh oysters getting old (not on the menu). It wasn't like not fresh or anything but taste was just okay.
Nuroongji Dak ($45, ENTREE, 4/5) - This famous dish didn't disappoint! They lit it on fire for a show & added flame taste, and the dish was sizzling hot. Flavor was pretty good, though some parts of chicken wasn't seasoned through. But they give you 3 dipping sauces (honey mustard was my favorite!) for that so that's OK. This dish really felt like a treasure hunt for the 3 of us as we kept poking around and finding different ingredients. I wished that there was still a unifying sauce of some kind as meat felt a bit dry at times and variety of ingredients kinda floating on their own a bit. Maybe a splash of soya-butter? Nonetheless, this was really enjoyable to eat - we loved the cauliflower and the burnt rice (which we diligently scraped off the pan) on the bottom.
III. SERVICE (5/5) - Very attentive, on a Sunday evening blizzard night! Later they did get busy (it's like we brought the town here cuz adventurous and half-crazy people kept showing up in pairs through the blizzard to eat in. Was a bit funny)

I'm a fan of this place - especially for a drink w/ buddies I can't think of a more deserving place to go to in town atm than JJ Dak! I'll be back to try many other interesting menu items in the near future!

“Freelance While a myriad of restaurants are located in picturesque Piermont, (a lovely Hudson River town) Freelance sets the bar high, so much so that we return again and again. Freelance serves consistently delicious food by a very attentive, hospitable, and warm staff. (Extra special kudos to the truly accommodating, affable, warm and attentive Joe and Omid who elevate the dining experience to something very special.) While Freelance is quite small, the consistently excellent food and service elevate Freelance to our favorite restaurant in all of Piermont and Nyack. Even though Freelance is tiny, the ambiance is uncluttered, pleasant and inviting. Daily specials are offered in addition to the already appealing menu. The appetizers (small plates) include tasty coconut shrimp, Caesar salad, wedge salad and butter lettuce salad. The salads are fresh and perfectly dressed with homemade dressings. (Last night we opted for the special beet salad with pistachios and feta cheese, YUMMY!) The coconut shrimp is also tasty. We have also enjoyed the delicious composed entrees (large plates) including the NY strip steak with fries (outstanding), swordfish, shrimp pesto, salmon and crispy chicken with Brie over spinach. The entrees are perfectly cooked to order, accompanied by a fresh, green, in season vegetable (spinach, green beans or snow peas) and rice or potato. (Last night we opted for the filet mignon with shrimp special which was served with delicious frites and sautéed spinach...YUMMY again.) Each entree is so well executed, with attention to detail, and prepared exactly as requested. The homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream is the perfect end to an already wonderful meal and the deconstructed sundae with sorbet and ice cream is a culinary winner! With such hospitable service and scrumptious cuisine, Freelance is a cozy spot for an utterly enjoyable evening!“
