“I’ve tried several soy-marinated crab spots in New York, and this one really stood out. The crab wasn’t overly salty at all, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced and very well done.

The sumac duck broth was on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it, especially in winter. I had been outside all day, and after one bowl of soup I instantly warmed up so much that I started taking layers off. The abalone porridge was also comforting and flavorful. And honestly, one of the best surprises was the free pancake SOOO GOOD.

We really appreciate that the front desk still allowed us to dine even though we arrived just one hour before closing. We ate quickly and even ended up finishing some of the food in the car on the way home 😆

Before coming, I was debating between several restaurants since we live on Long Island and don’t get to Fort Lee very often. I’m happy to say I have no regrets choosing this place.

I was a little shocked by the prices, but once I received my order and saw the portion in the quality, I totally understood. Flavors are great and ingredients are fresh. You’re paying for a cleanliness and quality. Servers are kind and accommodating and check on you often. You don’t need to order a ton to leave here feeling very full and satisfied.“

“First time visiting Moon Korean BBQ and we loved it!
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host and the staff. Our server, Ana, was amazing — so attentive, mindful, and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the Supermoon set (BBQ and Shabu), and everything was delicious and fresh. Even our 9-month-old daughter enjoyed the experience! Great food, great service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. “I'm really happy to have an AYCE hotpot place in the UWS! The staff here were all really friendly. There was a mix-up with a reservation issue, and the staff were very apologetic about the inconvenience, and happily accommodated us the next day. They're newly open, so we think there was just a sudden influx of new customers that they weren't expecting.

The food was delicious-- we got the spicy soup base and tomato soup base in a split pot. We only put in one order of all our ingredients, but the server reminded us that it's AYCE and that we shouldn't be shy about ordering more, which was really nice. They were much less busy on Sunday evening, so noise level was very good for conversation, and you don't feel like you need to rush for other customers to come in.

The selection of meats and veg is great, and the sauce bar has everything that I normally use for hotpot sauces!

“This place is an amazing experience if you really like shabu shabu and also appreciate well crafted experiences that aren't just about overloading you with meat/sauce.

The service is amazing, the people at the counter will cook the meat for you, regularly replace your bowls/dishes if they fill with broth, skim the fat out of your pot.

The meat is really high quality as well, I believe they source their wagyu straight from Japan and the quality is beyond what I can generally find in new york.

There are a lot of sauces and the restaurant puts a lot of care into serving interesting sauces & combinations. It seems they're always trying something new, when I went, they had just freshly prepared some nori sauce. The server will help you understand what sauce combinations work well, for which meats. I found that all their suggestions were amazing and really elevated the taste.

Their ice cream was made in-house, when I went, there was black sesame and earl grey. Both had an amazing crisp texture and soft sweetness.

Overall an amazingly unique meal with amazing service and just a beautiful, cozy spot.“

We got the shabu-shabby dish which comes with a mountain of vegetables and your own choice of meats. Make sure to get an amount of meat that fits your group size, the prices on the menu are per one portion of meat and you can combine different kinds or get multiple portions of the same.

The last time we came the service was not great, Damien completely changed how we feel about Kpot Englewood. “Tried it for the first time today and it was amazinggg. Hidden gem in the mall food court. We tried the beef rice bowl and the fried crispy chicken rice bowl. The chicken was crispy and the spices blended together so well. The beef bowl was also some of the best ive tried.

Compared to other Malatang spot this is far better they have a location in flushing too but are great but this location is more convenient. “It was a really nice experience with all of my friends last night. We went out as a group of six and made a reservation ahead of time. I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“
