Got the Chef's choice sushi and tuna/aji sushi and every piece was amazing and so fresh. “I went Friday the 6th to celebrate my friend turning 18. Not my usual scene but the food was amazing. We all got different types of dishes and the adults loved their drinks. I got sushi and it was out of this world. The music was a little loud for my taste but still enjoyable. Kirsy was our server, she was excellent. She was so sweet and attendant to our party of 7. Even the bathrooms were clean and adorable!! If you're looking for a fun night out with good music and even better food and service, this is definitely the place to go.“

“Hands down one of the BEST sushi experiences I’ve had in Philadelphia. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the welcoming, positive energy. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and has such a great vibe that makes you want to slow down and truly enjoy your food.

I ordered the shrimp tempura roll — and honestly… I loved it so much that I ended up ordering TWO of them. Perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside, and made with extremely fresh ingredients. Every bite tasted better than the last. You can genuinely tell that a lot of care and pride goes into how the sushi is prepared here.

On top of that, I also ordered a shrimp avocado roll to take home, and Min was absolutely amazing. She was beyond kind, patient, and welcoming — the kind of person who makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. She packed everything up quickly and neatly, and made the whole experience even better with her friendly attitude and positive energy.

This place isn’t just about great food — it’s about great people, great service, and a great overall experience. If you’re looking for authentic sushi, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and a spot that truly cares about their customers, do yourself a favor and come here. The menu is diverse and every item I have had has been delicious, including the specialty sushi rolls! “We visited Hiroki for a special occasion. My wife had just given birth and, after nine months, was finally able to enjoy sushi again. The food was outstanding as always. It was fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently high quality. The staff was also professional and attentive, just like the last time we were here.

One small note: One of the waitresses had a noticeable sniffle and sounded congested. She did not cough and made an effort to keep a reasonable distance, so I do not want to fault her. However, as a new parent, hearing someone continuously sniffling does make me nervous. If this comes up in the future, I would appreciate the staff considering simple precautions like offering or using a face mask to help guests feel more comfortable.“

“We happened upon this gem purely by chance. We had an amazing meal from A-Z (!!!) The sushi is phenomenal; sit at the newly designed sushi bar in the back and enjoy unique daily catches that come in through the connections the owner has with local fishermen. The restaurant is also known for their aged steaks, and Kobe prime rib, which we will try next time. I had the miso black bass and it was one of the best flavors with fish I have ever had. The broth had such a delicate shiitake mushroom flavor, which I loved. I literally couldn’t have had enough of this delicate, delicious dish. I could have had two orders and eaten it all! I think this dish epitomizes what the word UMAMI means. I also had the sautéed mushroom extravaganza, a treat for every taste bud of incredible flavors melted with a delicate sauce. My husband had their unique collection of sushi and sashimi choices that were all enjoyed at their stunningly beautiful sushi bar, complete with two young, passionate chefs who love what they do, and treasure their personal designs of the fish and rolls. All the rolls are presented in this great wooden cradle design, which I thought was so unique and functional. The owner was all smiles and genuinely happy to have had us try his new restaurant. I recommend it highly for either an exceptional steak meal (all are btw, so reasonably priced so order them for sure), or the traditional sushi. You won’t be disappointed. This will be our weekly go-to restaurant and we are counting the days until we will return, which actually will be next Tuesday the 9th! “I ordered several party trays from Tokyo Sushi and it was an amazing experience.
Everything was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. As soon as I put the trays out, everyone was impressed!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there were so many great options to choose from. Everyone at the party found something they loved, and the vegetarian options were especially well done and thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciated.

“This is a great Karaoke spot. The room is quite big compared to other places. The food is good too. They have a lot of variety. They messed up mojito with some peach syrup and fixed it later. “My first ramen of the year and it was a yummy one for a snowy day. We didnt have to wait for a table even though we arrived an hour before closing. They have lots of options to pick from but I went with a classic Tonkatsu ramen with pork and a Ramune Melon drink on the side. The broth and noodles were nice but the pork was a little dry.

After just one dine in experience, it's become one of our new favorite spots to eat, and it's definitely on the restaurant rotation for when we go out to eat!

The place is very decked out with anime stickers, manga panels, and the like, while also playing different kinds of anime on the TVs they have on premise. I really recommend the spot, for just the food alone even if you don't like anime.“
