She’s curtious and thorough when taking my order, explaining what she was doing, rephrasing my statements to make them understandable, going over my order and receiving my payment, I was given a receipt and told when I was going to get my order food. The place is very clean and neat,decorated with Puertorican motifs which provokes a pleasant and nostalgic feeling.“

“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “Love this location!!! It’s closer to home. Originally went to the 56tg location for lunch on work. Sancia who used to work at that location is now at 57th and I jsut love her. “I absolutely love Rumba Cubana! This location is perfect also. The restaurant is situated next to a park in the downtown area of Jersey City. The staff are kind and professional, great service. I’ve dined in/outside and ordered delivery once. Ordering delivery was definitely a huge disappointment. I ordered the Tropical Salad with grilled Salmon but the piece of salmon was so tiny. Dining in, they are usually generous with the proteins added. I feel like this was a very upsetting experience. Overall, it’s definitely my go-to place. The Papa Rellenas are delicious, the frozen lemonade is a must and you cannot leave without ordering some of the guava and cheese empanadas!“

“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. “Wanted to take some time to show my appreciation. My family and I were very pleased with our selection of this establishment for our repast service for my mother. The owner was very accommodating in short notice. The buffet that was laid out was just what we ordered. Place was very clean and the service from the staff was amazing. Really can’t say enough about that part. From the picking up of finished plates, them coming around with multiple fruit options, opening up for us 20 mins early so we weren’t in the blazing sun, and the show of support in our time of grieving.
