She’s curtious and thorough when taking my order, explaining what she was doing, rephrasing my statements to make them understandable, going over my order and receiving my payment, I was given a receipt and told when I was going to get my order food. The place is very clean and neat,decorated with Puertorican motifs which provokes a pleasant and nostalgic feeling.“

“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “Love this location!!! It’s closer to home. Originally went to the 56tg location for lunch on work. Sancia who used to work at that location is now at 57th and I jsut love her. Always so sweet and attentive and the food is sooo good. I’m from Brooklyn so finding a good oxtail in the city is a gem and very rare! Wishing sancia and the whole team all the best!!!!“

“I've been here several times but, this was the first time I asked for veggie paella & asked them to add shrimp °•~ It was so good !!!

I also had Ceasar Salad & Shrimp Ceviche which was also good with lychee martinis 🥂.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Drinks and food were good. I just wouldn't partake in the oxtail special again. They only give one big oxtail, and it didn't have any meat on it. I would recommend ordering from the actual menu. Besides that, the service the staff provided was amazing and very welcoming. This place is good for date night or catching up with friends for drinks. They also had music. I went on a Friday.“

The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. “We over all enjoyed dinner but it was very warm (no or little air conditioning )and the place is much smaller than I imagined from photos. We were well attended by the staff. The wings were great and the snapper also. Curry shrimp had a lot to be desired. We will go back maybe on a cooler day and try another dish.“

“This is my go to place when I have a large group to entertain. Our server was great and very professional but very personable as well. I ordered a coconut mojito and it was literally a glass of ice with a drop of coconut and a sugar stick that had seen better days. I told our server it was terrible and I got another one it was still awful and I couldn't drink it. It was very disappointing since I've had them before and they were good. Our food was great and we celebrated my friend's birthday with a special dessert . They need a new bartender those drinks were terrible! I shouldn't had to pay for those drinks but I was charged anyway. I'll have to think twice about going back“

“Absolutely one of the best jerk chicken lunch I’ve ever had in years. My mother ate their Oxtail stew dish and it was delicious too. Full flavoured food with excellent quality & portion. Friendly helpful staff are also welcoming. I bought the fried whiting fish fillets and some fried chicken wings to take home. Will definitely be back again to eat all the other dishes! Yummy ? proper jerk chicken with rice & beans that were moist not dry like other places we’ve tried in Manhattan.

Everything here was priced more affordably compared to any of the other Dominican spots on 138th street and in the neighborhood. Big plates. Also, they cater to the blue collar crowd. Lunch food is ready by 9:30AM. Perfect lunch spot if you're a city worker, construction, etc.“

“Wanted to take some time to show my appreciation. My family and I were very pleased with our selection of this establishment for our repast service for my mother. The owner was very accommodating in short notice. The buffet that was laid out was just what we ordered. Place was very clean and the service from the staff was amazing. Really can’t say enough about that part. From the picking up of finished plates, them coming around with multiple fruit options, opening up for us 20 mins early so we weren’t in the blazing sun, and the show of support in our time of grieving.
