“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“Had a fantastic dinner at Allendale Social last Saturday. We especially enjoyed the Korean fried chicken and the heavenly miso cheesecake—both standout dishes.

The candlelit room created a beautiful atmosphere, and the live music added just the right touch.

A special shoutout to our server, Charles. Knowledgeable and friendly, he guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and paced the evening perfectly.

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. “Louie's On The Avenue has been our favorite local restaurant for years ..however last Friday Stephanie and her team knocked it out of the park! with 24 hours notice, they helped plan, decorate, cater and Host our impromptu wedding. “I don’t know how I’ve managed to go this Long without writing a review for the Oak House but better late than never! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I’ve been coming to the Oak House regularly, pretty much since the day they opened! It immediately became my favorite spot, for several reasons, first and foremost of the food is phenomenal, literally every bite of every menu item is delicious. They have a beautiful and unique cocktail menu, and their bartenders are spectacular. On top of all of that, the vibes are immaculate. All of the staff is great, super friendly, and accommodating. Oak house is the perfect spot for a girls night out, date night, happy hour… or a solo date! Honestly all the things!!“

I think his name was naddir (might be spelling that wrong, apologies). We only found out he was training after getting friendly with everyone serving us and he did a great job. Our server, Natasha, was amazing and took the time to explain all their promotions, including a great happy hour menu. We tried the Tussi Roll, Dominican Power, and Cuban Tempora sushi rolls. Each one was full of flavor, and I was honestly impressed by how good they were. My friend ordered the Bad Bunny drink and the Beso de Coco. She enjoyed both, but the coconut one was her favorite and she definitely recommends it for coconut lovers. Parking isn’t the greatest in the area, but this place is absolutely worth the effort to find a spot. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back with more friends.“
