They told us about our different wine options, what foods they would pair well with, about various seasonal varieties not currently available that we could return and try, and were just fun in general to chat with. “We have eaten here several times over the years and ordered out. The food has always been consistently good.
Some of my favorites are the Caprese Salad Frito Misto Tartufo pizza. Yesterday,we went for cocktails and shared a Frito Misto.As usual , they were excellent. It was early but the place was pretty full. The bartender was very professional and efficient. Overall very good experience.“

“I had a great night at the oak house. From the second I sat at the bar, Baze set a great impression. Professional, experienced and completely dialed in. He was attentive without being intrusive as it was my first time there and I was on a date. He knew exactly how to read the room. That kind of service makes a difference. I ordered the Pears and Lychee cocktail and it was excellent and made with precision. On Baze’s recommendation, I went with the peach glazed wings and the short rib. Both delivered. The wings had real flavor with a good caramelized finish, and the short rib was very good and cooked perfect. What stood out most was the consistency in service. Baze stayed on top of everything and made sure the night ran smoothly. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and the hospitality right. He definitely helped make it a strong date night. I’ll definitely be back.“

We tried an array of foods and there was not 1 item that wasnt absolutely delicious. Everything was cooled perfectly. “Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. “By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

“NYC steakhouse experience without the drive. Ambiance is top notch. High end decor but my kids felt very comfortable here. Food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. French onion soup was full bodied. Mashed was smooth. Corn was different in a good way, have to try to understand. Only criticism i can make is the rest of the meal was so good that the dessert wasn't on the same level. It was still fine. Overall excellent experience, will definitely go back.“

I asked for lemon WEDGES (you can't squeeze slices) for my water, and that's exactly what he brought. Then when the kitchen missed something I'd requested, he immediately made it right with an alternative solution, which was probably better than what I initially requested. He was attentive without hovering. I will request a table in his area next time I'm there. Also, I loved that the table was sturdy enough where I didn't feel like my drink would spill when I cut my filet. A small thing maybe, but a detail many places overlook and get wrong. And I LOVE that Ruth's Chris has an expected standard of dress & decorum for their customers. That tells you they also have standards for their servers, cooks & food. Absolutely top-shelf across the board.“
