“Nice place, a little out-of-the-way, which is perfectly fine. Lots of menu choice, food is good quality, from bread and appetizers to dessert. This is a BYO place. Service was a little uneven, but that was most likely due to the fact that there was a really large party in the dining room and they tend to be high maintenance. Worth the trip.“

“We had a wonderful birthday dinner. They had some cute birthday confetti on the table and a birthday card which was a nice touch. The dumplings, beet salad, scallops, brussel sprouts,and stuffed shrimp were all delicious! The drinks were great. Dessert selection was nice - the lemon tart was fantastic. Loved listening to the live jazz band which raised the bar for the atmosphere. Will definitely return. High class restaurant with high class service!“

“Made a reservation for Christmas eve, and despite the restaurant being full it did not feel overcrowded. Food was absolutely delicious. We had forgotten it was BYOB and the liquor store down the street was closed, bit overall great meal. They also have a kids menu.“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“I stopped by for a late lunch take out and I was pleasantly surprised.
First, the interior while not large is cozy and very inviting, complete with nice Japanese wall art, and even a stove heater in one section with many Japanese ceramics like tea pots on display.
I ordered a Chicken teriyaki lunch box (bento) - (Entree, $14.50, 4/5) - I was happy with the heft of the bag and upon opening it, food was hot and fresh. California rolls were good and 2 pieces of shumai were crispy and nicely seasoned. Rice was the right portion and chicken was fresh-tasting with good quantity of teriyaki veggies. Some pieces were a bit tough and the seasoning overall did not really permeate, but I didn't mind. I mean, it's lunch special so you can't really expect too much. I was nicely satisfied with this bento - not too much, not too little, and at a great price.

I used to do yoga right next door for years and had never gone in, but now I would like to dine in because they had that nice, cozy and authentic Japanese sushi house vibe that was so inviting + of course, good tasting food at reasonable price. I'll be back!“

“First time entering this location actually, the waitress Lakaiya I believe that was her name was very nice and helpful, food and service was great, and of course, my favorite appetizers are the "Cheddar Bay Biscuits" now, as for the ambience and overall environment of the restaurant, it has a low key vibe and very inviting, has a warm feel to it, the waiters and waitresses try their best to provide their services for their customers, as well as the chefs that cook and prepare their food, I do recommend this location though, I also like the music selection on the radio's overhead, nicely done...“

“We have been coming here for years, and Jimmy and Andy always treat us like family! We drive from Orange County and are never disappointed. The sushi is amazing, among my favorites are the Mango Tango roll, Tiger roll, Tri Color roll and Tuna Amazing! The appetizers are small enough portions to try everything without waste!! It’s All You Can Eat, so easy to order more of what you like! But perfect sized appetizers so you don’t fill up before the sushi arrives! The sushi is always fresh and plentiful and the staff’s attention to details is unmatched. When the owners truly care about their customers, it shows and is appreciated! “With all the competition Johnny's faces in Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, and Suffern they have clearly shown from opening day to the present why they are the top choice. Every aspect of a business a customer would want they excel (product, cleanliness, customer service, and menu options). Besides a superlative slice of pizza their Sicilian is larger than others without being burnt on top (commonly found elsewhere), and their version of the Deep Dish slice is tremendous. If you want to dine in, take out, or not leave the comfort of your home and have the food delivered, they are the Must Go To spot in the area.“

“Just Go!!! My family was in New Jersey for a church event and I jus googled a seafood place and this came up. I was skeptical at first since it was 30 minutes to closing but they did not disappoint!!!!! My mom got catfish nuggets, yams and broccoli, I got catfish nuggets yams and mac and cheese !!!! And I got fried fish and sweet potato fries for my son. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing !!! The nuggets were seasoned perfect and a nice portion, the yams were perfectly seasoned and not too sweet. The Mac and cheese was good also!!!! The gave us there house sauce to try I forgot the name but it’s like a cajun maple sauce brown in color and it’s A1 on the fish OMG !!! It was closing time so there wasn’t any other customer but it smelled clean and looked neat. The lady that took our order on the phone was very pleasant and went over the order to insure in was accurate, when I arrived at the restaurant I checked since we were heading back to Long Island andeverything was correct and smelled amazing… if your in the area Go there. “Always a steady goto in our restaurant rotation. Seasons 52 in Paramus never disappoints. Their Pork Chop is one of my favorite entrees along with the Filet Mignon and Lobster, you can't go wrong with the flatbreads, tuna tartare, golden beet salad, and Maui Tuna Crunch Salad. Something for everybody. Cartier and the rest of the crew that works the bar are great, and always welcome us back when visit.“

“On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“

“When I want to go outside or I'm working and need to eat I always try to come here if there is no food at home. This place is amazing.

The food is just delicious, for all the plates I ate here never had this "okay" food it is always tasty and yummy. And the price is another plus, 10$ for a lunch meal, 1 entrance (mostlikely soup) 2nd (usually rice with either chicken or pork) and a cup of drink. (Not soda).

And even when buying other than "special lunch" it is quite heavenly.

Conclusion, it is a great place, amazing good, great service. Now, the only bad thing is the parking, if u eating in the morning I guess there is parking at papays since it is pretty close, but in the afternoon, quite dificult, since it is not recommended to park on popeyes.

“Dined at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse for my birthday on a Wednesday evening. Got to the restaurant 15 mins before our reservation time and was seated right away. The staff was really kind, and everyone congratulated me. We started with drinks: A white wine sangria and a lemon drop martini. We ordered the 3 course meal for each of us. My fiancé got the house salad, filet with grilled shrimp, upgraded to the full size of the mash potatoes which we shared, and ended with the chocolate cheesecake. I ordered the french onion, the twin fillets with grilled shrimp, upgraded to the full size of creamed spinach which was also shared and ended with the regular cheesecake. Overall the service was good. My steak came out a bit more rare than I wanted it so it was sent back but the manager came out right away to let me know they were working on it for me.“
