Restaurant had a pleasant, clean atmosphere, staff was friendly, courteous and attentive, and there was something on the menu for everyone..from appetizers, salads and pizzas to full dinner choices. “Came here for a quick bite and a drink. This place did not disappoint. The hot honey chicken sandwich and truffle fries were delicious. I also ordered a margarita which was just as good. Atmosphere was pretty live for a Thursday night. My friend ordered the double smash burger with an espresso martini which she said was also good. Thursdays their wings are $1, will have to come back to try them.“

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“

We selected this restaurant because their is ample space between tables which is a rarity These days at the majority of the restaurants in New York City. “So didn't know what to expect,But the food and owner were great had mozzarella sticks they were out of the park and sauce was great Then we each had a chicken sandwich and no complaints It was juicy not dry so all I can say is 5 stars“

“First time at Amy Ruth’s and it did not disappoint. We were immediately greeted and seated. The waitress was attentive and wonderful. We definitely didn’t feel rushed which was great. This way we could throughly enjoy the meal and also just our lunch conversation.

Restaurant is so spacious that we had our privacy. Unlike a lot of NYC restaurants where tables are so close together.

Most important the food. The food was well worth the trip from Jersey. It was the best fried chicken I’ve had. All the sides were a great enhancement to the meal. Really delicious. Of course we had to finish our meal with dessert. We selected two items made in-house and they did not disappoint.

Only negative is that I’m not closer to the restaurant to eat there more often. Definitely worth the trip and highly recommended for a meal that just feels like comfort.

Mike A was an outstanding server. It all started with a warm welcome by the Maitre D, a great conversation with the Hostess, and then an amazing experience by Mike & the serving staff. The soft shell crab & shrimp cocktail appetizers were exceptional. And we had the 30 oz porterhouse steak to share. Cooked to perfection. Finally, the steak sauce that is prepared at your table is epic. Highly, highly recommend!! Be informed - it does get loud in there when full of customers. Still can't wait to to go back!“

“Jasper’s Tap House and Kitchen was a great find. The smash burger was excellent—perfectly cooked with great flavor—and the fries were crispy and delicious. We also tried the pretzel bread, which was a nice addition and very good. Overall a really enjoyable meal in a relaxed setting. Definitely a spot worth stopping into if you’re nearby. 🍔🍟“

“Very chill family owned and operated North Jersey tavern and steakhouse. It's cash-only, but there is an ATM up front near the bar. The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktail specials (and a good variety of each). Service is friendly and your meal will likely be cooked and/or served by the the owning family.“

Booking is advised but if you haven’t and the wait is too long, they have the bar area where you can also eat and drink. It’s very pretty and cosy plus there is a roaring fire, perfect for these winter days.
